1 Introduction

The present short form instructions are a summary of the most important
information from the installation and operating instructions of the Nord­mann ES4.
The present short form instructions do not replace the installation and
operating instructions of the Nordmann ES4. In either case the installation
and operating instructions of the Nordmann ES4 must be read before car­rying out any work on the Nordmann ES4 and the information and safety
instructions in it must be followed and upheld.
