NOTICE:
Every effort has been made to ensure the
accuracy of the information contained in
this manual. All parts supplied are selected
specially to fit the sprayer to facilitate a
complete installation. However, NORAC
cannot guarantee all parts fit as intended
due to the variations of the sprayer by the
manufacturer. Please read this manual
in its entirety before attempting
installation.
ATTENTION:
When installing the UC4+ Spray Height
Control system please be aware that at a
point in the installation your sprayer booms
will be inoperative until the installation is
complete. Any installation procedure
requiring boom movement will need
to be done first. Once the hydraulics
have been disconnected you must complete
the electrical installation before the booms
become operative.

The use of dielectric grease is not recommended on any NORAC electrical connections.
To ensure all stainless steel hardware does not gall or seize apply a light coating of the
supplied Permatex Anti-seize grease to all threaded parts upon installation. Permatex
Anti-seize lubricant is preferred, but other similar anti-seize products may be used.

3 HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
WARNING!
The hydraulic system creates very
high pressure. Before disconnecting
any hydraulic lines ensure all pressure
has been bled from the system.
IMPORTANT:
Component failure due to oil
contamination is not covered under
the UC4+ Spray Height Control
system warranty. It is recommended
that a qualified technician does the
hydraulic installation.
Sprayers with a model year of
2007 and older require the main
lift valve to be changed. See
Section 4 for instructions on how
to do this.
1. Use Figure 1 as a reference for
installing the hydraulics.
2. Install the 6MB 6MOR fitting (F04) into
the A and B ports of the expansion
block (Figure 2).
Figure 2: Expansion Block Assembly
3. Remove the four 4MBP plugs from the 2
station valve block.
4. Coat the four o-rings in hydraulic oil
and install them into the expansion
block. Ensure the o-rings are seated
properly.
5. Attach the expansion block to the 2
station block using the included spring
washers and bolts.
6. Tighten the bolts to 31 ft-lbs.

7. If the valve block is not already installed
on the sprayer, install it as outlined in
the UC4+ Spray Height Control kit
installation manual.
8. Attach the straight 6FORX fittings on
the hoses (H02) to the A and B ports
on the expansion block. Route the free
end of the hoses (H02) to the Case
main lift tee, which is located near the
sprayer axle.
9. Disconnect the raise hose that runs
from the Case valve block to the main
lift tee and install the 6FORX 6MORT
(F03) onto the existing Case 6MORT
(Figure 4).
10. Connect the NORAC hose (H02) that
is connected to the B port on the
NORAC expansion block to the tee
fitting F03.
11. Reconnect the hose that runs from the
Case main lift valve block to the main lift
tee. This connects onto the tee fitting
F03.
12. Disconnect the lower hose that runs
from the Case valve block to the main
lift tee
13. Connect the NORAC hose (H02) that
is connected to the A port on the
NORAC expansion block to the tee
fitting F03.
14. Reconnect the hose that runs from the
Case main lift valve block to the main lift
tee. This connects onto the tee fitting
F03.
You must ensure no hydraulic
components will interfere with
any sprayer parts or be pulled
tight at any time.

4 MAIN LIFT VALVE INSTALLATION
If the sprayer was built prior to model year
2007 then the main lift valve may have to be
replaced with a part from your local Case
Dealership. If the booms will go up, but not
down; the valve will need to be replaced.
The Case part number of the required valve
is 87558232.
1. Lower the main lift all the way to the
bottom.
2. Turn OFF the sprayer ignition.
3. Loosen the hoses on each side of one of
the main lift cylinders located at the
back of the sprayer. This is to remove
any pressure from the system.
4. Remove the coils from the main lift
valve, located under the sprayer.
5. Thread the valve out of the valve
housing and thread the new valve in.
6. Reinstall the coils onto the new main lift
valve.
Remove this
nut and the
two coils.

5 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Figure 6: Cable Connections
Cable C16 and C17 are the only
cables included in the kit.
1. Locate the end of the previously
installed valve extension cable. This is
at the rear of the sprayer.
2. Disconnect the Case Interface Cable
from the Valve Extension Cable and
connect the 6-pin connectors on cable
C17 between the cables.
3. Connect the three pin shroud labeled
“Connect to C11” on cable C17 to the
free three pin tower on the valve
extension cable.
4. Connect cable C16 to the three pin
shroud on cable C17.
5. Connect the 2-pin connector on cable
C16 marked ROLL CCW to the coil
on the port side of the valve block.
The port side is the side of the
valve block with the left and right
tilt hoses.
6. Connect the 2-pin connector on cable
C16 marked ROLL CCW to the
other free coil.
The pigtails on cable C16 are not
used for this installation.
7. Tie up all cabling so that it will not
interfere with any components on the
sprayer.
