The flash Nissin MG80 Pro (Canon / Nikon / Sony/ Fujifilm / Panasonic /
Olympus) is an advanced commander built-in flash for wireless flash shooting.It
controls up to 8 groups of NAS (Nissin Air System) flash that have a wireless
multiple flash shooting function using NAS (radio transmission). Please note
that Nissin MG80 Pro is not usable with other branded cameras for TTL
operation.

Nissin Air System (NAS) is a Nissin wirelessly remote control flash light system,
designed by Nissin. It consists of a Nissin radio commander (NAS commander)
and the Nissin wireless flash (NAS flash) and Nissin radio receiver (NAS receiver)
as remote slave units.
Insert MG80 Pro on the camera hot shoe as a NAS commander.
The signal of MG80 Pro is transmitted by using 2.4 GHz transmission.
Transmission distance is approx. 100m (330 ft.)
(Metal/ Wire/ Wall/ another 2.4 GHz radio frequency may cause a
reduction in the NAS transmission distance)

These safety instructions refer to important information on how to use this product safely
and properly. Please read the following instructions before using the product.
CAUTIONS
This sign refers to conditions which may cause damage or defect.
Do not touch the inside parts from the opening when the unit was dropped or broken.
Place the batteries correctly in position. Placing the batteries in wrong polarity may
cause leakage, exothermic heat or explosion.
Do not leave or store the commander unit in the temperature over 40ºC/ 104ºF, such as
in the automobile.
The commander unit is not water resistance. Keep the unit away from rain, snow and
humidity.
Do not use benzene, thinner or other alcoholic agents to clean the unit.
Do not use this commander unit with cameras which are not recommended in the
compatibility list at official website, otherwise it may damage the camera’s circuitry
Remove the batteries when not in use for a longer period of time.
Do not use the Nissin MG80 Pro to pick up whole camera system when it installed on
your camera. To pick up the whole camera system, you should hold the handle of

Inserting batteries
1. Open the battery compartment door and insert 4 x 14500
Li-ion or size AA rechargeable batteries as shown in the
picture.
2. Make sure the + and - battery contacts are correctly
inserted in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment door and slide it back in
place.

Menu Screen For Main Modes
MG80 Pro Flash Mode and Functions
The MG80 Pro can be use in 3 mode:
- On-Camera Mode
- Commander Mode
- Slave Mode
To change the mode in MG80 Pro,
switch on MG80 Pro, press the
3 seconds to select a mode.
On-Camera Mode
Flash light automatically controlled by the
camera with the flash exposure or selecting the
desired manual power on the flash unit.
Commander Mode
Placing multiple flashes (slave flash) off camera
and controlling the lighting operation.
Slave Mode
Synchronizes to the wireless remote flash system.

On-Camera Mode
TTL flash power compensation
With the latest TTL flash control system, the flash power level is always
automatically controlled by the camera for the most appropriate exposure.
You can soften or weaken the light, or give more to the subject without
changing the environment or background exposure effect. MG80 Pro can
make it possible to adjust exposure quickly for each particular flash picture
as needed.
1. Set MG80 Pro to the camera’s hotshoe and press to switch on.
2. Press the 3 seconds to select “On-Camera” Mode.
3. Press the button to choose “TTL” mode.
4. Rotate the dial to select the power compensation.
5. TTL flash power compensation provided starts from -2EV to +2EV (12 steps) and
controlled by 1/3 EV step internal.
Take a picture and the subject is shown with required lighting effect by keeping the
background exposure level as originally expected.
NOTE
On some cameras, this setting is provided in its menu. When you set the TTL flash
power compensation on camera it is also set on the MG80 Pro will be counted in
addition to the compensation you selected in the camera’s menu mode. ( i.e. set +1
compensation on the flash and set +1.3 compensation on the camera it will
generate +2.3 EV in total.)
Red color bar represent 1 step, White color bar represent 1/3 step.
