Instructions
For using ST-7J.
Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the unit.

4. Install a lithium-ion battery to the rear of
ST-7J.
5. Turn on the POWER SW on the bottom of the
rear of ST-7J. LED indicator lights up and the
power is supplied to a camera and a light.
■ Caution : They might damage the grip portion of a camera if you lift a camera up with
only the grip portion or install a receiver of the wireless microphone, a hard disk back
up unit, etc. to the battery shoe of ST-7J.
A small camera applicable to ST-7J is designed to be used as it is. We recommend
you to use ST-7J as a support equipment. It is not applied to the operation which
gives a big weight pressure to the grip portion and the application to use a wireless
receiver and a hard disk back up unit together.
■ Main Features :
ST-7J is applicable to a handy type camera:( AG-HPX175, AG-HMC155/151) etc.
■ Operation
１．Install ST-7J to the bottom of a handy
camera with the guide pin. And tighten the
camera screw to fit it to a camera.
For a camera which has two screw holes
1 Take off the guide pin plate from the ST-7J loosening
the camera screw and remove the camera screw from
the guide pin plate. Fit the washers(supplied) to the
spare screw (supplied) and the camera screw.
2 Install the screws with the washers to the ST-7J and fix
the ST-7J into the screw holes of a camcorder with the
two screws.

6. Conversion cables which are supplied to
a camera can be connected with the BNC BNC relay connector.
7. ST-7J can be installed to the Panasonic
tripod base SHAN-TM700 to install to a
tripod.

■ Attaching the handle
Fit the handle to the ST-7J main body
with four screw holes and tighten withg
the supplied M3 screws.

When ST-7J is used for AG-HMC155,
take off the handle from the stay and
replace it to the lower screw holes of
the stay.

2. Fix the handle of ST-７J to the screw hole
on the upper side of the grip of AG-HPX175,
AG-HMC155/151 with the supplied screw.
3. If the power is supplied to a camera from
ST-7J, please use the optional power cable
DC-P175(for AG-HPX175) or DC-P155(for
AG-HMC155/151).
