For using RM-P250.
Before operating your RM-P250, please read this manual thoroughly and keep it for future reference.

Instructions

ZOOM Connectir φ3.5 mini jack
Connect to the ZOOM connector of the camera.

FOCUS IRIS Connector φ2.5 mini jack
Connect to the FOCUS IRIS connector of the camera.

ZOOM/FOCUS IRIS Connector D-sub ９-pin
Connect to the ZOOM and FOCUS IRIS connectors.
This connector is connected with the ZOOM connector ( ) and the
FOCUS IRIS connector ( ) inside. And it enables to connect by one
D-sub ９-pin connector cable, which connector is more firm than a mini
plug and is hard to be broken.

REC Button REC Start/Stop switch
Press the button to start or to stop recording.

LOCK ON/OFF Switch REC button lock switch
When the LOCK switch is ON, the REC button does not function.

ZOOM W/T Knob W = to Wide angle / T = to Tele
Turning the knob to zoom the camera zoom lens. The zooming speed
varies according to the rotating angle of the knob.

FOCUS N/F Knob N = Near / F = Far
Adjust the focus of the camera lens.

AUTO/MANU Select Switch
Select the focusing function AUTO or MANUAL
AUTO=Automatically the camera lens focuses.
MANU=Adjustments by the FOCUS knob, the CONTROL knob and
NEAR LIMIT knob are enabled.

CONTROL NARROW/WIDE Knob : Adjust the focusing range width.
NARROW=Narrow the rang to focus
WIDE=Widen the rang to focus

NEAR LIMIT NEAR/FAR Knob : Shift the focusing range to near or far
NEAR=Sift the focusing range set by the NEAR LIMIT knob to near
FAR=Sift the focusing range set by the NEAR LIMIT knob to far

When the CONTROL knob is set to NARROW or the NEAR LIMIT knob is set to NEAR,
the lens may not cover up to its range, up to ∞.

IRIS C/O Knob C = CLOSE / O = OPEN

Adjust the iris of the camera lens.

AUTO/MANU Select Switch
AUTO==Automatically the camera lens iris.
MANU=Adjustments by the IRIS knob, the CONTROL knob and
CLOSE LIMIT knob are enabled.

CONTROL NALLOW/WIDE : Adjust the IRIS adjustment range width.
NALLOW=Narrow the rang to adjust the iris
WIDE=Widen the rang to adjust the iris

CLOSE LIMIT CLOSE/OPEN : Shift the iris adjustment range to close or open
CLOSE=Sift the iris adjustment range set by the CLOSE LIMIT knob to close
OPEN=Sift the iris adjustment range set by the CLOSE LIMIT knob to open

When the CONTROL knob set to NARROW or the CLOSE LIMIT knob is set to CLOSE,
the lens may not cover up to its range, up to OPEN.

■Connection/Use

1 Using the supplied clamp bracket fix the RM-P250 on the
pan handle of the tripod.

2 Connect to the ZOOM connector (φ3.5 mini jack) and the
FOCUS IRIS connector (φ2.5 mini jack) of the camera by
the φ3.5 mini plug cable and theφ2.5 mini plug cable.

NOTE : FOCUS and IRISadjustmentrangecanbe

adjustedby the CONTROLknobandLIMITknob
as shown on the following table.
