1. Make sure that the grinder is securely locked in place

before operating the appliance.

2. Turn the appliance Off and remove the power cord

from the electrical outlet when not in use, before
assembling or disassembling parts and before
cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the
electrical outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

3. Never leave the grinder unattended when in use.

4. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as utensils out of

container while processing to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the grinder.

5. Always use this grinder on a dry, stable work surface

1. Assurez-vous que le moulin est solidement verrouillé

avant de mettre en marche l’appareil.

2. Veuillez éteindre le mélangeur (position « Off ») et

débrancher le cordon d’alimentation de la prise de
courant lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé et avant le nettoyage,
l’assemblage ou le démontage des pièces. Pour
débrancher l’appareil, tirez sur la fiche et retirez-la de
la prise d’alimentation. Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon.

3. Ne laissez jamais le moulin sans surveillance

pendantl’utilisation.

4. Afin de réduire le risque de blessures graves ou

de dommages à l’appareil, gardez les mains, les
cheveux, les vêtements et les ustensiles hors du
moulin pendant l’utilisation.

5. Avant de l’utiliser, posez toujours le moulin sur une

surface de travail sèche et de niveau, loin de l’eau.

8. N’UTILISEZ PAS ce moulin sur une surface chaude

ou près de celle-ci (brûleur à gaz, plaque électrique

Using the 12 tbsp. Coffee and Spice Ninja® Grinder Attachment

IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERFILL! TO AVOID SPILLING, DO
NOT ADD INGREDIENTS PAST THE “MAX FILL” LINE.

NOTE: For best performance, only grind dry
ingredients. Do not grind wet ingredients.

1 Remove all packaging material and labels from the

Coffee & Spice Grinder.

2 Wash the lid and blade assembly with stainless steel

grinding cup in warm, soapy water with a soft cloth.

CAUTION: Handle the blade assembly with

stainless steel grinding cup with care when
washing as the blades are very sharp.

3 Rinse and dry thoroughly.

WARNING: NEVER LEAVE THE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED WHILE IN USE.
CAUTION: USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING THE BLADE ASSEMBLIES AS THE BLADES ARE VERY SHARP.
CAUTION: CHECK THE GRINDING CUP FOR PRESENCE OF FOREIGN OBJECTS BEFORE USING.

4 The lid and blade assembly with stainless

steel grinding cup are all dishwasher safe. It is
recommended that the lid and blade assembly with
stainless steel grinding cup be placed on the top
rack. Ensure that the blade assembly with stainless
steel grinding cup is removed from the lid before
placing in the dishwasher.

IMPORTANT: Place the motor base of the main

unit used on a clean, dry, level surface such as
a counter or table top.

5 Make sure that the motor base is plugged in for use. No

lights will turn on.

6 Add ingredients to the stainless steel grinding cup.

Use the measurement lines on the grinding cup for
added convenience!

7 Place the lid onto the blade assembly with stainless

steel grinding cup so that the tabs on the cup meet
the entry point on the blade assembly. Twist until the
lid is locked in place. (Fig. 1)

8 Place the grinder onto the motor base, aligning the

tabs on the grinder with the motor base. Turn it
clockwise until it locks in place, you will hear a click
when the lock is engaged. (Fig. 2)

9 Follow the operation instructions from the main

instruction manual for the base being used. Press
one of the appropriate buttons to start.

10 To remove the grinder, ensure that the motor has stopped

running. Then turn the grinder counter clockwise (Fig. 4)
and pull straight up to remove. (Fig. 5)

11 Remove the blade assembly with stainless steel cup

by twisting the lid counter clockwise. Be sure to
store the grinder with the lid attached to the blade
assembly with the stainless steel cup.

12 Make sure that the motor base is unplugged when

not in use.
