6 To start th e appliance , plug the power
cord into the elec trical outl et, securel y
hold power he ad while ope rating and
press on the O n/Off pulse b utton locate d
on the top of the power h ead. (Fig . 3)
7 Hold the pitche r firmly while d epressin g
the On/Off p ulse button to en sure the
unit stays in pla ce.
NOTE: DO N OT operate the ap pliance
continuous ly for more than 1 5 seconds at
a time.
8 To stop the ap pliance, re move your
fingers fro m the On/Off p ulse button .
9 In or der to obtain a be tter qualit y of
chopping , operate the a ppliance by usi ng
the “pulse” m ethod.
10 Make sure that the blade s have stopped
completely b efore removing th e power
head.
11 If the ingredients sti ck to the side of the
pitcher, stop the app liance, rem ove the
power head an d the splash g uard. Use a
spatula to dislo dge the piec es and then
replace the sp lash guard a nd the power
head. Co ntinue proces sing.
12 Dependin g on the consistency of the
contents, u se the pourin g spout to empt y
liquid conten ts.
13 For thicker consistencies, fi rst remove
splash gua rd and blade ( by its shaft),
then empty c ontents of the pitc her.

• The chopping blade s can be used f or
chopping m eat, fish , vegetable s, chees e etc.
• For mincing, choppi ng and pure eing,
increase th e length of pu lses.
• For coarse chopping , use shor t, quick
pulses an d monitor food tex ture.
• Pre-cut larger pie ces to make them fit i nto
the pitcher. Whe n chopping h ard foods
(e.g. meat, che ese) cut into 1-inc h cubes.
• To crush ice in to snow, start by usi ng short
pulses to brea k up large ch unks. Co ntinue
until snow is ac hieved.

CAUTI ON: Make su re that the power head is unplu gged from powe r source before
insertin g or removing any at tachmen t and before cle aning.
DO NOT immers e the power head i nto water or any other li quid. Cle an with a damp
sponge or cl oth and wipe dr y.
The pitcher, storage l id, splash g uard and bla des are all dis hwasher safe . It is
recommen ded to place the s torage lid an d the blades o n the top rack. U se extreme
caution whe n handlin g the blades a s they are very sharp.

PROBLEMS POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS
Motor Doesn’t Start
or Blades Don’t
Rotate.
Check that th e bottom of motor h ead is clean a nd
there is no foo d blocking co nnection when placin g on
container s.
There is too muc h food in the pitch er.
The unit has over heated. Un plug and wait a pproximately
10 minutes be fore using aga in.
Make sure the sp lash guard is s ecurely on pitch er.
Make sure the powe r head is secu rely placed o n splash
guard.
Check that th e plug is secur ely inserte d into the elec trical
outlet.
Check fus e or breaker. Repla ce fuse/reset breaker.
Food is Unevenly
Chopped.
Either you are ch opping too mu ch food at one tim e, or
the pieces are n ot small eno ugh. Try cuttin g the food
into smaller p ieces of even size and pro cessing sma ller
amounts p er batch.
Food is Chopped Too
Fine or is Too
Watery.
The food has b een over proces sed. Use brief pulses or
process for sh orter time . Let blades sto p completely
between pu lses.
Food Collects On
Splash Guard/Safety
Cover or On the Sides
of the pitcher.
You may be processing too mu ch food. Turn the mac hine
Off. When th e blades stop rotating, remove th e power
head and th e splash gua rd. Remove some o f the food
being proce ssed.
You Cannot Achieve
Snow From Solid Ice.
Do not use ice that has been sit ting out or has s tarted
to melt. Be sure to use short pu lses in the be ginning to
break up larg e pieces.
