NOTE: Thi s unit has a sh ort power supply

cord to reduce th e risk resulting from
becomin g entangled in or trip ping over
a long cord. An extensio n cord may be
used if you are c areful in its use:

1. The elec trical rating of the exte nsion
cord shoul d be at least as great as th e
electri cal rating of the appli ance.

2. An extensio n cord with the p ower cord
must be arranged so that it will not d rape
over the countertop or tab letop where
they can be pulled on by ch ildren or

POLARIZED PLUG
WARNING: To reduce the risk of

electric shock, this appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). This plug will fit into
a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician to

18. Immediately rele ase the On /Off pulse
button on th e motor hea d in the event
that the app liance ma lfunc tions dur ing
use.

operate the a pplian ce without th e splash
guard in place; DO NOT tr y to defeat the
interlock m echanism; make sure that the
cutting bl ades are p roperly as semble d
before ope rating the a pplian ce.

the motor. To reset, unplu g the appliance
and let it coo l down for app roximately 1 0
minutes before using again.
