TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS (NOT FOR FIELD REPRESENTATIVE'S USE):
This product is an automatic, coffee machine intended for household use
only. It consists of a thermoplastic enclosure which enclosed a sheathed
heating element. The heating element is controlled by an NTC thermistor
driven regulating control, and employs a thermal fuse for overheating
protection. A polarized, non-detachable power supply cord is provided for
connection to the supply source.
USL indicates investigation to Household Electric Coffee Makers and
Brewing Type Appliances, UL 1082.
CNL indicates investigation to the Household Cooking and Liquid Heating
Appliance Standard C22.2 No. 64.

Mechanical Assembly - Each unit is shipped from the factory completely
assembled. All electrical components are secured to their respective surfaces
by means of offsetting screws and mounting openings, two screws, screw and
keyway slots or lock-washers - to provide anti-rotation. All panels are
firmly secured to chassis.

1. Main Body Cover - R/C QMFZ2, Hanwha Total Petrochemical Co. Ltd.
(E140331), Type HJ730+, rated HB, 115ºC, min. 1.5 mm thick. Maintained
min. 12.7 mm spacings to uninsulated live parts. Two-piece constructed,
Front Cover and Rear Cover. Overall measures 190 by 224 by 23 mm high.
Secured together by screws and further secured to Main Housing by
screws. Provide an integral tab for Brew Basket Assembly.
Alternate – Same as above except R/C QMFZ2, KINGFA SCI & TECH (USA), INC
(E484599), Type PP-6(t), rated HB, 130oC.
2. Main Housing - R/C QMFZ2, Hanwha Total Petrochemical Co. Ltd. (E140331),
Type HJ730+, rated HB, 115ºC, min. 1.5 mm thick. Maintained min. 12.7
mm spacings to uninsulated live parts. Measures overall 252 by 224 by
340 mm high. Secured to Bottom Cover Assy by screws. Provided with the
features as below:
a. One 125 by 45 mm wide opening for PCBA Assy;
b. One 20 by 30 mm wide opening for the hinge of Main Body Cover.
c. One 118 mm dia. Opening for Warmer Plate.

(E484599), Type PP-6(t), rated HB, 130oC.
3. Bottom Cover Assy – Two-piece constructed. Consist of Base Plate and
Base Reflective Plate. Secured to Main Housing by screws. Provide with
removeable rubber foot.
a. Base Plate – R/C QMFZ2, Hanwha Total Petrochemical Co Ltd
(E140331), Type HJ730+, rated HB, 115ºC. Maintained min. 12.7 mm
spacings to uninsulated live parts. Overall measures min 2 mm
thick, overall 215 by 247 mm wide by 35 mm high. Provided with an
112 mm dia. opening for Base Reflective Plate. Secured to Main
Body by screws and Base Plate by screws.
Alternate – Same as above except R/C QMFZ2, KINGFA SCI & TECH
(USA), INC (E484599), Type PP-6(t), rated HB, 130oC.
b. Base Reflective Plate – Plated steel, maintained min. 12.7 mm
spacings to uninsulated live parts. Overall measures 120 mm dia.,
min 0.5 mm thick. Secured to Base Plate by integral tab.
Provided with louvers for ventilation.

4. Glass Carafe – High borosilicate glass, Wuhu Wanchen electric light
source technology Co. Ltd., Measures 145 mm diameter by 176 mm High with
handle, R/C QMFZ2,HANWHA TOTAL PETROCHEMICAL CO LTD (E140331), type
HJ730+. Rated HB, 115ºC. Minimum 2 mm thick. Provided with integral tab
for Carafe Lid Straw. (Engineer Note: Handle is secured by mechanical
means.)
Alternate - Same as above except manufactured by Taiwan Glass Ltd.
5. Carafe Lid with Straw – R/C QMFZ2, Kingfa Sci & Tech Co Ltd (E171666),
Type GFPP-15, rated HB, 65ºC. Overall measures 130 by 112 by 125 mm
high. Provided with one 8 mm opening for drip drop. Secured to Glass
Carafe by integral tab.
6. Reservoir Assembly – Secured to Main Housing by integral tab. Consists
of following items.
a. Reservoir Bowl – R/C QMFZ2, rated HB, 50ºC. Overall measures
166 by 140 by 186 mm high, min 1.5 mm thick.
b. Reservoir Lid – R/C QMFZ2, rated HB, min 80ºC.
7. PCBA Panel – R/C QMFZ2, LG Chem Ltd (E67171), Type AF312A, rated V-0,
min. 75ºC. Suitable for direct support live part. Overall measures 125
by 45 by 34 mm high, minimum 1.5 mm thick. Secured to Main Housing by
integral snap fit. Provided with a cover with same material, overall
measures 144 by 42 by 36 mm high min. 1.5 mm thick. Optionally covered
with metal clad.
8. Clock lens – R/C QMFZ2, Toray Industries Inc (E41797), Type ABS 920,
rated HB, 60ºC. Min 1.5 mm thick. Overall measures 26 mm wide and
16 mm long. Secured to PCBA Panel LED Housing by integral tab.

General - Fig. 5 shows the internal bottom view of Coffee Maker,
Model CE200; Also represents other Models unless otherwise specified.
1. Power Supply Cord - Listed, CN. Type SPT-2, No. 16 AWG, 2-conductor,
rated minimum 300 V, 105°C. One end terminates in a molded-on
parallel blade polarized attachment plug; another end terminates in
Main PCB. Length ranges from 0.6 m to 2.1 m.
Alternate – Same as above except Listed, CN. Type SPT-2, No. 18 AWG,
2-conductor, rated minimum 300 V, 105°C.
* * 2. Strain Relief – Cord clamp type. R/C QMFZ2, LG Chem Ltd
(E67171), Type LUMID GP-2251BF(#). Rated V-0, 110ºC. Measures minimum 5
mm thick. Secured to Power Supply Cord to integral post of Power Cord
Support by screws. A knot of Power Supply Cord also provided for strain
relief as shown.
3. Warm Plate – Painted aluminum. Measures 2 mm thick by 124 mm dia.
Secured onto the Boiler.
4. Boiler (Heat Insulation) Bracket - R/C QMFZ2, rated V-0, minimum 120ºC,
1.5 mm thick. Overall measures 180 by 165 by 35 mm high. Provided with 2
opening, one for Boiler Shaft and one for Water tube. Also provided
with a silicone seal ring. Secured to Main Housing by mounting bar and
screws.
5. Boiler – 120V, 60Hz, 1100W. Aluminum, with brass and copper
fittings. Overall 350 mm long, 12.5 mm OD, minimum 1.5 mm thick.
Sheathed by 0.6 mm thick bundy tube, OD 8.0 mm. Provided with 2 steel
cold pins, measured OD 2 mm, 37 mm long. Provided with ceramic at the
ends of the sheath. Overall embedded with an aluminum water housing.

6. Thermal Fuse A – R/C XCMQ2/8, Hosho Electronics (HK) Ltd (E49429), Type
D213, rated 120 VAC, 16.7A, functional temperature 216ºC. Secured
to Boiler by thermal fuse clip.
7. Thermal Fuse B – R/C XCMQ2/8, Therm-O-gDisc Inc, Sub Of Emerson Electric
Co (E40667), Type G4A00229C. Rated 120V, 15A, functional temperature
229ºC. Secured to Boiler by thermal fuse clip.
8. NTC – R/C XGPU2/8, Shenzhen Ampron Technology Co Ltd (E243011), Type
MF58-98.75KX4300GC, Rated R100=6.282K ohm, Tmax 250ºC,
B100/200=4300K. Combine with control circuit with max temp. 130ºC in the
brew cycle and 130ºC in the clean cycle. Insulated by Polyimide
Film. Secured to Boiler by NTC clip.

9. Water Tubes - Two provided. Manufactured by SHEN ZHEN HUA YONG FENG
RUBBER TECHNOLOGY CO.,LIMITED, Type XHG151xx.
a. One measures 2.0 mm thick by 10.0 mm inner diameter by 14 mm outer
diameter by 146 mm long. One end secured to Reservoir Assembly
and the other secured to Boiler (inlet) by hose clamp.
b. One measures 2.0 mm thick by 10.0 mm inner diameter by 14mm outer
diameter by 243 mm long. One end secured to Main Body Cover and
the other secured to Boiler (outlet) by Hose clamp.
10. Sleeving – R/C UZFT2/8, Rated 600V, min 200C. Provided for Thermal
Fuse and NTC.
11. Wire Connector – R/C ZMVV7, Rated 300V, min 105ºC. Suitable for use
with No. 16 AWG. Polarized connector. Enclosed all splice connections.
12. Internal Wiring - R/C AVLV2/8,
a. Rated 300 V, 200ºC, minimum No. 16 AWG. Connected between Control
PCBA Assy and Thermal Fuse or Boiler.
b. Rated 300 V, 200ºC, minimum No. 26 AWG. Connected between Control
PCBA Assy and NTC.
13. Power Cord Support - R/C QMFZ2, Hanwha Total Petrochemical Co. Ltd.
(E140331), Type HJ730+, rated HB, 115ºC, min. 1.5 mm thick. Overall
measures 58.1 by 42.2 by 131.0 mm high. Secured to Main Housing by
screws.

rated V-0, min. 75ºC. Suitable for direct support live part.
Overall measures 144 by 42 by 36 mm high min. 1.5 thick..
c. Varistor (VAR1)- R/C VZCA2/8, Type 4 Surge Protective Devices,
rated 330Vac, 910 Vpk, 215Vdc.
d. Capacitor (C1) – R/C FOWX2/8 rated 400Vac, 1.2 uF.

3RD DIV (E130155), Type 3317(F1), min. 0.75 mm thick. Rated V-
0, 115ºC. Overall measures 27 by 13 by 16.4 mm high.
d. LEDs – 10 provided.
e. Buzzer (BUZ1) – One provided.
