Getting Started
450 Watt Power Head
The 450 wat t power head o perates on 12 0V., 60Hz. elec trical power. NE VER allow the power he ad to become wet wh en plugg ed into an elec trical ou tlet.
WARNIN G: The power h ead shou ld never be imm ersed in water or any other liq uid.
CAUTIO N: Make sure that the power he ad is unplugged from th e electrical outlet a nd

1 Place the Maste r Prep

Pitcher on a cle an, dry, level surface.
2 Holding the blade by the shaft, place it
onto the spindle pin inside the Master Prep
®
Professi onal Pitcher.
Use the Ninja® 6-Blade in the 48 oz. Pitcher. (fig. 1)

5 Place the power head on top of the
pitcher spla sh guard ma king sure that it is securely in place. (fig . 4) DO NOT attempt to ope rate the appliance without the safety splas h guard in place.
6 To star t the applia nce, plug th e power
cord into the electrical outlet, securely hold power he ad while ope rating and press on the on/off pulse b utton located on th e top of the power head. (fig. 5)
7 Hold the Master Prep
®
Professi onal Pitcher firml y while depressing the on/off pulse button to ensure th e unit stays in place.
NOTE: DO N OT operate the ap pliance
continuously for more tha n 15 second s at a time.
8 To stop the applia nce, remove your
fingers from the on/off pulse button.
9 I n order to obta in a better qu ality of
chopping , operate the appliance by using the “pu lse” metho d.
10 Make su re that the blades have
stopped com pletely befo re removing the power head.
11 If the ingredients stick to the side of
the Master Prep
®
Professi onal Pitcher, stop the appliance, remove the power head and th e splash gu ard. Use a spatula to dislodge the pie ces and the n replace the splash guard and the power head. Co ntinue proce ssing.
12 Dependin g on the consis tency of the
contents, u se the pouri ng spout to empty liquid contents .
13 For thicker consistencies , first remove
splash gua rd and blad e (by its shaf t), then empty contents of the M aster Prep
®
Professi onal Pitcher.

• The choppin g blades c an be used fo r choppin g meat, fish , vegetab les, che ese etc.
• For mincing , choppin g and puree ing, increase th e length of p ulses.
• For coarse cho pping, u se short , quick pulses an d monitor foo d texture.
• Pre-cut lar ger piece s to make them fit into the Master Prep
®
Professi onal.
When cho pping hard f oods (e.g. meat , cheese) cut into 1 -inch cub es.
• To crush ice into snow, star t by using short pu lses to break u p large chu nks. Continue u ntil snow is ach ieved.

3 Carefully insert the upper blade over
the lower blade rotating it until it locks onto the lower blade. (fig. 2)

blades inside the container.

5 Place the splash guard on the bowl.

6 Place the power head on top of the
splash guard makin g sure that it is securely in place. (fig . 4) DO NOT attempt to ope rate the appliance without the safety splas h guard in place.
7 To start the a ppliance , plug the power
cord into the electrical outlet, securely hold power he ad while ope rating and press on the on/off pulse b utton located on th e top of the power head. (fig. 5)

Professi onal splas h guards an d chopping blades are a ll dishwashe r safe. It is recomme nded to place the storage lids and the ch opping bl ades on the top r ack. Use extreme c aution whe n handling the choppi ng blades a s they are very sh arp.
Clean the Ni nja® Master Prep® Professi onal and all p arts before first use a nd
immediately after each use.
ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
EURO-PRO Operating LLC warrants this product to be free from material defects
and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use, subject to the following conditions, exclusions and exceptions.
The liability of EURO-PRO Operating LLC is limited solely to the cost of the repair or replacement of the unit at our option. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes. This Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit. This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs, service or alteration to the product or any of its parts, which have been performed by a repair person not authorized by EURO-PRO Operating LLC.
If your appliance fails to operate properly while in use under normal household conditions within the Limited Warranty period, you may return the complete appliance and accessories with proof of purchase and date, freight prepaid. If the appliance is found by EURO-PRO Operating LLC to be defective, in EURO- PRO Operating LLC’s sole discretion, we will repair or replace it free of charge. Proof of purchase date and a check made payable to EURO-PRO Operating LLC in the amount of $14.95 to cover the cost of return shipping and handling must be included.*
This Limited Warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other legal, implied and/or conventional warranties. The responsibility of EURO- PRO Operating LLC if any, is limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it under the terms of this Limited Warranty. In no event is EURO-PRO Operating LLC liable for incidental or consequential damages to anyone of any nature whatsoever. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or from province to province.
*IMPORTANT: Carefully pack item to avoid damage in shipping. Be sure to include proof of purchase date and to attach tag to item before packing with your name, complete address and phone number with a note giving purchase information, model number and what you believe is the problem with the item. PROBLEMS POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS
Motor Doesn’t Start or Blades Don’t Rotate.
Check that t he bottom of m otor head is cl ean and
there is no fo od blocki ng connec tion when p lacing on contain ers.
There is too mu ch food in th e containe r.
The unit ha s overheated . Unplug a nd wait
approximate ly 10 minute s before usi ng again .
Make sure the s plash gua rd is secure ly on contai ner.
Make sure the power head is securely place d on
splash gua rd.
Check that th e plug is secu rely inser ted into the
electric al outlet.
Check fus e or breaker. Replace fuse/reset
breaker.
Food is Unevenly Chopped.
Either you are ch opping too much food at on e
time, or the pi eces are not small enough. Try cutting the fo od into smaller pieces of even size and processing smalle r amount s per batch.
Food is Chopped Too Fine or is Too Watery.
The food has been over proce ssed. Use b rief
pulses or pro cess for sho rter time. Let blades stop completely between p ulses.
Food Collects On Splash Guard/Safety Cover or On the Sides of the Master Prep® Professional Pitchers or Master Prep® Professional Bowl.
You may be processing too m uch food. Turn the
machine of f. When the bl ades stop rotating, remove the power he ad and the sp lash guard . Remove some of the food being p rocessed .
You Cannot Achieve Snow From Solid Ice.
Do not use ice that has been sitting out or h as
started to melt. Be sure to use short pulses in the beginning to break up large pieces .
