Thisinformationwillberelevantafteryourfirsttestflight.Itisprovidedatthisstageto giveyouabasicunderstandingofthetrimleverfunctions.Therearefourtrimlevers usedtofinetunethefourfunctionsofthemaincontrolsticks.Toadjusttheseposition yourselfabout1.5to2.0metres(6-7feet)behindthehelicopter.Bringthehelicopterto ahoverpositionabout1.0metre(4feet)fromthegroundandobservethemovementof thehelicopterasfollows:
1.Ifthetailbeginstorotatetotheleft,slidetheruddertrimlevertotheleft.
2.Ifthehelicopterbeginstomoveforward,slidetheelevatortrimleverback.
3.Ifthehelicopterbeginstomoveleft,slidetheailerontrimlevertotheright.
4.Ifthehelicopterbeginstomoveascend,slidethethrottletrimback. Ifmovementsareintheoppositedirectionstakethereverseactionson
thetrimlevers.

TurningontheHelicopter
ATTENTION:Beforeconnectingthebatterytothehelicopter,youmustconfirmthe followingsettings.MakesuretheSpeed/NightEagleisturnedoffduringthisprocess.
1.Thecrystalsonthetransmitterandreceivermustmatcheachother.
2.Thethrottlestickispulledfullybackintheoffposition,otherwiseseriousdamage totheSpeed/NightEagleandpersonalinjurymayoccur.
3.Thetransmitterantennaisscrewedinandextended,batteriesarefullycharged andthetransmitterhasbeenturnedon.
4.Onthetransmitterpullthethrottlestickbacktotheendstoppositionandthe throttletrimlevertothecentrepositionthenturnthetransmitteron.
5.Placethehelicopteronaflatsurface.Plugthebatteryintothehelicopterandthe lightinsidethehelicoptershouldturnon.Ifitdoesnotturnon,checkthatthetransmitter iscorrectlyturnedon.
6.Makesurealltrimsarecentred.
7.MakesuretheSwashplateisparalleltotheground.Ifnot,seetheflight adjustmentssection.Youwillusethetrimleverstofinetunethehelicopteronceyou havecompletedatestflight.

TheSpeed/NightEaglemaynottakeoffvertically,itmaygoforwardorbackwards, leftorright.Continuetopushtherightcontrolstickforwardandbringthehelicoptertoa hoveringheightataboutwaistheight.Whilehoveringusetrimleverstofinetunethe Speed/NightEaglewhilehovering.Youmayalsofindthehelicoptersnosemayswingto

Pushtheleftcontrolstickslightlyforwardtostartthebladerotation.Keepyour
fingers,eyesandotherobjectsclearoftherotatingparts.
Slowlypushtheleftcontrolstickforwardtoincreaserotorspeed.TheSpeed/Night Eaglemaynottakeoffvertically,itmaygoforwardorbackwards,leftorright.Continue topushtheleftcontrolstickforwardandbringthehelicoptertoahoveringheightat aboutwaistheight.WhilehoveringusetrimleverstofinetunetheSpeed/NightEagle whilehovering.Youmayalsofindthehelicoptersnosemayswingtotheleftorrightside whenyouincreasethrottle.Inthiscaseyouneedtoadjustthetrim.
Nowyouhavefinishedallthesettingsandadjustments.Pullthethrottlestickbackto thestopposition,turnofftheSpeed/NightEaglebydisconnectingthebattery,then turnoffthetransmitterpower.Neverturnoffthetransmitterbeforedisconnectingthe batteryasthehelicoptermaybecomeuncontrollable.

OperationProcedures
