2 Safety instructions

• This product is designed for
vacuuming small areas of
dry material only; Do not use
for vacuuming water or other
liquids.

• Sparks inside the motor can
ignite fl ammable vapours or
dust. Do not vacuum or use
this product near fl ammable
or combustible liquids (e.g.,
gasoline or other fuels, lighter
fl uid, cleaners, oil-based
paints), gases (e.g., natural
gas, hydrogen), or explo­sive dust (e.g., coal dust,
magnesium dust, grain dust,
gunpowder).Do not vacuum
anything that is smoking or
burning (e.g., cigarettes,
matches, hot ashes).Never
vacuum toxic materials as the
vapours or dust may cause a
health hazard.

• This product is not a toy.
Close attention is necessary
when used by or near chil­dren or pets. Never use this
product on pets.

• Never use a damaged vacu­um, AC adapter, or charging
base.

• Do not mutilate or incinerate
the Battery packs, as they will
explode at high temperatures.

• Do not plug/unplug the AC
adapter into/from the electri­cal outlet with a wet hand.
Dry the product completely
before placing it onto the
charging base.

• Do not place or drop the
product into water or other
liquids. If the product falls into
water or other liquid, do not
touch or reach into the water

• Do not charge the product if
the power cord is cut, dam­aged, or if the wires are
exposed.

• Keep th e adapter cord and
the product away from heated
surfaces.

• To disconnect the AC adapter
from an electric outlet, pull
directly on the adapter base;
do not pull on the cord.

• Do not put any stress on the
adapter cord where it con­nects to the product, as the
cord could fray and break.

• If using an extension cord
with this product, the marked
electrical rating of the cord
set or extension cord must be
at least as great as the elec­trical rating of the product.

• Do not operate this product
if it has a damaged adapter
cord or plug, malfunctions,
is dropped or damaged, is
left outdoors, or is dropped
in water. All repairs must be
carried out by an authorized
service center.

• Do not use this product out­doors. For optimal operation,
keep the product in a location
that does not exceed 40°C
(104°F).

• Do not operate the product
while it is charging.

• Keep the charging base
where it will not be subjected
to heat, fl ames, or liquids.

• Never insert objects into any
of the openings in the prod­uct. Do not use the product
if any of the openings are
blocked.

• Do not use the product to
vacuum metal objects such
as coins, screws, nails, tacks,
etc.

• Make sure to check that the

wheels and the brush on the
nozzle are clean in order to
avoid scratching of sensitive
fl oors.

• Empty the product after each
use. Keep it free of dust, lint,
hair, or anything that reduces
airfl ow.

• Keep hair, loose clothing, and
body parts away from open­ings or moving parts, espe­cially the part of the product
where there is suction.

• Never place the vacuum noz­zle near your face, especially
eyes and ears, during opera­tion.

• Do not use the product with­out the fi lters and the dust
container in place.

• Take care when using the
product on stairs in order to
prevent falls.

• The battery charging termi­nals on the vacuum cleaner
and the charging base must
be kept clean and free of
debris.

• Only use the charging base
and AC adapter provided with
the product. Do not use any
parts not provided or recom­mended by Nilfi sk.

• This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physi­cal, sensory or mental capa­bilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.

appliance. Children should
be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the ap­pliance

3 Instructions for Use

3.1 Start and Stop

3.1.1 Start Switch ON the unit by switching

the On/Off button downwards.

Please fully charge the battery
before using the product for the
fi rst time and please charge the
battery if the product has been
stored for a prolonged period
(more than a month). This will
ensure a long life time of the
battery.

• The battery is fully charged

after 16 hours. Prolonged

charging can reduce the life
time of the battery and is not
optimal for the environment.

• Please recharge the bat-

tery when the suction power
reaches an insuffi cient level.
This will ensure a long life
time of the battery.

• Please switch OFF the

product when the battery is
empty. The battery will be
damaged if the product is
stored in “ON” position.

Please make sure that the battery is fully charged when you are using the product for the fi rst time or
after storing the pro duct for a long time.

• Do not charge the battery pack for more than 16 hours

• Do not leave the product switched “On” if the battery pack is empty.

• Charge the battery pack when it is empty and do not leave it uncharged for a prolonged time.

3.1.2 Stop Switch OFF the unit by switch-

ing the On/Off button upwards.

3.2 Prepare your Vacuum Cleaner

Make sure the switches are in “OFF” Position.

1. Straighten up the foldable

handle to ‘Click’.

2. Connect the fl oor brush to

‘Click’.

3. Assemble the charging base.

4. Insert the vacuum unit in stick

body.

5. Place the Nilfi sk Handy 2-in-1

in the charging stand for
fi rst charging. (Refer to the

charging section)
Charge your vacuum cleaner
for a minimum of 16 hours when
charging it for the fi rst time.

3.3 Using your vacuum
cleaner

During short pauses in vacuum­ing, the vacuum cleaner can
be left standing by leaning it
slightly forward until it rests on
the fl oor brush.

Caution ! Always switch off
the vacuum cleaner when left
standing because the brush can
damage the fl oor or the carpet.

4 Charging the Battery

Make sure to charge the battery in the following situations:

• When using the product for the fi rst time after purchase

• When the suction power reaches an insuffi cient level

• When the product has been stored for a prolonged period (more than a month)

charging stand

2. Insert the vacuum unit in the
stick body.

Always switch OFF the stick

on the On/Off button when
inserting the hand-held unit in
the stick body.

Avoid any substances be-

tween the contacts of single
unit and stick body.

3. Place the Nilfi sk Handy 2-in-1
in the charging stand.

If the Nilfi sk Handy 2-in-1 is

not placed properly in the
battery stand, it will not be
charged or it may fall over.

Avoid any unstable surfaces

when charging, otherwise the
battery will not be charged
due to the insecure contact.
Select a stable fl oor for the
charging stand.

Be careful not to trip over the

power cable when charging
the battery.

4. Connect the power plug to
the power outlet.

When the power plug of the

battery charger is connected
to the AC power outlet, the
indication light will light up.

Note: The indication light will
always be lit when the power is
connected. The main body may
become warm during charging.
This is not an abnormal sign.

5 Waste disposal

• Try to dispose the vacuumed waste as frequently as possible. The dust attached to the fi lter can
cause poor vacuuming performance and stress the motor.

• Always switch OFF the power when operating for disposal.

1. Detach the dust container.

2. Pull out the fi lters.

3. Empty the dust container.

4. Re-install the fi lters in correct
order and position.

5. Re-install the dust container
to the vacuum unit.

Caution

Do not vacuum a lot of dust at
one time and do not vacuum
large objects. May cause the
suction port to clog and loose
the suction power.

Do not vacuum kerosene, petrol
or butts of smoked cigarettes.
This may cause a fi re.

Dispose dust frequently in order
not to damage the product.

6 Service and Maintenance

Always switch OFF the power and disconnect the power plug for the battery charger from the power
outlet before starting maintenance

6.1 Vacuum Unit, Stick
Body, Charging Base

Wipe off any dirt from the prod­uct using a dry and soft rag.

In case of stubborn dirt, clean
using a soft damp rag soaked
in a water solution diluted with a
little neutral detergent and then

wipe with a dry rag.

Do not use solvents like thin­ner, benzene, and spray type
cleaners.

6.2 Dust Container Remove any collected dust in-

side the dust container fi rst and
wash using lukewarm water.

Make sure that the dust con­tainer is completely dry before
re-assembling.

6.3 Filter Do not wash the fi lters in the

washing machine.
Do not dry them using a hot air
blower such as a dryer or a hair
dryer.

In case of stubborn dirt or loss
in suction power, wash as in­structed below:

1. Remove the dust fi rst

2. Wash with water

3. Make sure that the fi lters are
completely dry before the
parts are re-assembled.

6.4 Power Brush Carry out the maintenance if

any waste threads or hair gets
tangled in the brush.

Regular Maintenance

Slowly rotate the brush manu­ally and remove any foreign ob­jects tangled around the brush.

Maintenance when the power
brush cannot be manually
rotated

1. Unscrew the left hand side
and then lift and dislodge the
brush cover.

2. Lift up the left side of the ro­tating brush and then remove
the belt from the end of the
rotating brush.

3. Take out the rotating brush
and remove the blockage.
Take out the wastes.

4. Re-install the rotating brush.
Finally, check that the brush
cover is securely fi xed and
the rotating brush rotates
properly.

7 Product Disposal

When the battery packs will no longer hold a charge, the product has reached the end of its useful life.

Before discarding the product, the rechargeable battery pack must be removed and recycled in ac­cordance with federal and local laws, as outlined below.

NOTE: The battery pack is not replaceable. After removing the battery pack, the product must be
discarded.

1. Use a screwdriver to unscrew
the housing

2. Cut the wires with scissors or
wire cutters in order to free
the battery compartment from
the unit completely.

3. Take out the battery compart­ment with motor,

Unscrew the battery bracket.

4. Remove the battery from the
unit. WARNING: Do not mu­tilate or incinerate the battery
pack, as it will explode at high
temperatures.

WARNING-- Risk of fi re or seri-
ous injury:

Never touch both terminals of a
battery pack with metal objects
and/or body parts as a short cir­cuit may occur. Upon removal,
cover all battery pack terminals
with heavy-duty adhesive tape.
Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble a battery pack or
remove any of its components.
Batteries must be recycled or
disposed properly. Keep battery
packs away from children.

8 Guarantee and Service

This Nilfi sk Handy 2-in-1 Re-
chargeable Vacuum Cleaner is
covered by a two (2) year guar­antee on the machine, which
covers the motor, Adaptor,
switch and casing. The batter­ies, fi lters, fl oor brush and other
accessories are covered twelve
months due to manufacturing
fault only and exclude wear and
tear.

The guarantee includes spare
parts and labour costs, and cov­ers manufacturing and material
defects that may occur during
normal domestic use.
Service under the guarantee will
only be performed if it can be
proven that the defect occurred
within the product’s guarantee
period (a correctly completed
guarantee certifi cate or printed/
stamped cash register receipt
with date and product type)
and on the condition that the
vacuum cleaner was bought as
a new product and distributed
by Nilfi sk-Advance. In the event
of the repair of defects, the
customer must contact Nilfi sk-
Advance to be directed to a
service agent at the customers
own expense. Upon completion
of any repairs necessary, the
vacuum cleaner will be returned
to the customer at the risk and
expense of Nilfi sk-Advance.

The guarantee does not
cover:

• Normal wear and tear of ac­cessories and fi lters.

• Defects or damage occurring
as a direct or indirect result
of incorrect use - such as
the vacuuming of rubble, hot
ashes or carpet deodorant
powder.

• Abuse, loss or lack of main­tenance as described in
Instructions for use.

• If the machine has been used
for home renovations.

• If the machine has been used
for suction of water, plaster
dust or sawdust.

Nor will it cover incorrect or poor
confi guration, i.e. setting up or
connection, nor fi re-damage,
fi re, lightning strike or unusual
voltage fl uctuations or any other
electrical disturbances such
as defective fuses or defective
electrical installations on the
supply grid, and defects or dam­age in general that Nilfi sk-Ad-
vance consider to be the result
of causes other than manufac­turing and material defects.

The guarantee becomes void:

• If a defect is caused by the
use of non-original Nilfi sk
parts.

• If the identity number is
removed from the vacuum
cleaner.

• If the vacuum cleaner has
been repaired by a non-Nil­fi sk authorized dealer.

• If the machine is used in a
commercial environment, i.e.
building contractors, clean­ing contractors, professional
trades or any other non-do­mestic usage.

The guarantee is valid in:

Denmark, Sweden, Norway,
Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium,
Holland, France, Germany, Po­land, Russia, Austria, Switzer­land, Spain, Portugal, Australia
and New Zealand, Estonia,
Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary,
Greece, Slovenia, Slovakia, The
Czech Republic, Italy, Finland,
Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.

2 Sicherheitshinweise

• Dieses Produkt ist auss­chließlich für das Trocken­saugen geeignet, also die
Staubentfernung auf kleineren
trockenen Flächen. Das Gerät
darf keinesfalls zum Saugen von
Wasser und sonstigen Flüssig­keiten eingesetzt werden.

• Im Motor können Funken
entstehen, sodass entfl am-
mbare Dämpfe und Staub in
Brand gesetzt werden können.
Das Saugen bzw. der Einsatz
dieses Geräts in der Nähe von
entfl ammbaren/brennbaren
Flüssigkeiten (z. B. Benzin und
sonstige Kraftstoffe, Butan,
Reinigungsmittel, Farben auf
Ölbasis), Gasen (u. a. Erdgas,
Wasserstoff) oder explosions­fähigem Staub (z. B. Kohlen-,
Magnesium-, Getreidestaub,
Sprengpulver) ist verboten.
Keinesfalls rauchende oder
brennende Gegenstände (z. B.
Zigaretten, Zündhölzer, heiße
Asche) saugen. Keinesfalls
giftige Materialien saugen –
entsprechende Dämpfe und
Staub stellen ein potenzielles
Gesundheitsrisiko dar.

• Dieses Produkt ist kein
Spielzeug. Beim Einsatz in der
Nähe von Tieren und Kindern
bzw. durch Kinder ist Vorsicht
geboten. Verwenden Sie dieses
Produkt niemals an Tieren.

• Wenn der Staubsauger, der WS­Adapter oder die Ladestation
einen Defekt aufweist, ist der
Gebrauch zu unterlassen.

• Es ist verboten, Akkus zu

• Den WS-Adapter niemals mit
nassen Händen an-/abstecken.
Das Gerät muss vor dem
Platzieren in der Ladestation

Sollte das Gerät in Wasser oder
eine sonstige Flüssigkeit fallen,
nicht ins Wasser greifen.

• Das Gerät nicht aufl aden, falls
das Stromkabel durchtrennt
oder beschädigt ist oder falls die
Drähte sichtbar sind.

• Das Adapterkabel und das Gerät
nicht in die Nähe von heißen
Oberfl ächen bringen.

• Zum Abtrennen des WS-Adapt­ers von der Wandsteckdose
direkt am Adapter und nicht am
Kabel ziehen.

• Das Adapterkabel an der An­schlussstelle zum Gerät keinen
Belastungen aussetzen, um
Durchscheuern und Risse zu
vermeiden.

• Bei Verwendung eines Ver­längerungskabels mit diesem
Gerät ist darauf zu achten, dass
die Nennspannung aller Kabel
nicht unter jener des Geräts
liegt.

• Dieses Gerät nicht in Betrieb
nehmen, wenn das Adapterka­bel oder der Stecker defekt ist,
wenn Fehlfunktionen vorliegen,
das Gerät heruntergefallen
oder beschädigt ist, wenn es
im Freien gestanden hat
oder ins Wasser gefallen ist.
Reparaturen sind prinzipiell von
befugten Wartungseinrichtungen
vorzunehmen.

• Dieses Produkt ist für den Ein­satz im Freien ungeeignet. Für
einen einwandfreien Betrieb darf
eine Umgebungstemperatur von
40°C nicht überschritten werden.

• Das Gerät während des
Ladevorgangs nicht in Betrieb
nehmen.

• Die Ladestation an einem Ort
platzieren, wo jeglicher Kontakt
mit Hitze, Flammen und Flüssig­keiten ausgeschlossen werden
kann.

• Keinerlei Gegenstände in
Geräteöffnungen einführen. Das
Gerät nicht einsetzen, falls eine
der Öffnungen blockiert ist.

• Das Gerät darf nicht zum Auf­saugen von Metallgegenständen
(Münzen, Schrauben, Nägel,

Zwecken u. dgl.) verwendet
werden.

• Darauf achten, dass die Bürste
an der Düse sauber ist, um
Kratzspuren auf empfi ndlichen
Böden zu vermeiden.

• Das Gerät ist nach jedem Ge­brauch zu leeren. Halten Sie es
frei von Staub, Fusseln, Haaren
und sonstigem Material, das den
Luftstrom hemmen könnte.

• Haare, lose Kleidungsstücke
und Körperteile nicht in die Nähe
von Öffnungen oder bewegli­chen Teilen des Geräts bringen,
insbesondere nicht in die Nähe
des Saugbereichs.

• Die Saugdüse während des Ge­brauchs keinesfalls in Gesich­tsnähe (v. a. Augen und Ohren)
bringen.

• Das Gerät nur in Betrieb neh­men, wenn Filter und Staubbe­hälter montiert sind.

• Beim Einsatz in Treppen vor­sichtig arbeiten, um Stürze zu
vermeiden.

• Die Akku-Ladekontakte an
Staubsauger und Ladestation
müssen sauber und frei von
Rückständen sein.

• Ausschließlich die Ladesta­tion und den WS-Adapter
verwenden, der mit dem Gerät
mitgeliefert wurde. Keine Teile
verwenden, die nicht von Nilfi sk
stammen oder empfohlen
werden.

• Der Gebrauch dieses Geräts
durch Personen (u. a. Kinder)
mit verminderten körperlichen,
Wahrnehmungs- und geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mit unzure­ichender Erfahrung und Wis­sen ist nur zulässig, wenn eine
ausreichende Beaufsichtigung
gegeben ist bzw. wenn eine
Unterweisung im Umgang mit
dem Gerät durch eine für die
Sicherheit verantwortliche Per­son durchgeführt wurde. Kinder
dürfen nicht in die Nähe des
Geräts kommen. Kinder müssen
beaufsichtigt werden, um sicher­zustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen.

3 Gebrauchsanleitung

3.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

3.1.1 Einschalten Zum Einschalten des Geräts

den Ein/Aus-Schalter in die
untere Stellung bringen.

Vor dem erstmalingen Ge­brauch des Produktes den
Akku völlig aufl aden und ihn
aufl aden, wenn das Produkt für
eine längere Zeit nicht benutzt
worden ist (mehr als 1 Monat).
Das wird dem Akku eine lange
Lebensdauer sichern.

• Der Akku ist nach 16 Stunden

voll aufgeladet Ein längeres

Laden mag die Lebensdauer

des Akkus reduzieren und
schadhaft für die Umwelt
sein.

• Den Akku aufl aden wenn der

Saugeffekt einen unbefriedi­genden Stand erreicht. Dies
wird dem Akku eine lange

das Stromkabel achten (Stol­pergefahr).

4. Den Stromstecker an die
Wandsteckdose anschließen­Wenn der Stromstecker des
Akkuladers an die WS­Steckdose angeschlossen ist,
leuchtet die Anzeigeleuchte.

Hinweis: Die Anzeigeleuchte
bleibt an, solange die Span­nung angeslossen ist. Beim
Laden kann sich das Gehäuse
erhitzen. Dies ist nicht besorg­niserregend.

5 Entleeren des gesaugten Materials

• Das aufgesaugte Material möglichst oft entleeren. Wenn sich am Filter Staub festsetzt, wird die
Saugleistung beeinträchtigt, und es droht eine Überlastung des Motors.

• Vor dem Entleeren des Saugmaterials das Gerät prinzipiell ausschalten.

1. Den Staubbehälter lösen.

2. Die Filter herausziehen.

3. Den Staubbehälter leeren.

4. Die Filter in der richtigen Rei­henfolge und Position wieder
einsetzen.

5. Den Staubbehälter wieder in
das Gerät einsetzen.

Vorsicht!

Nicht zu viel Staub auf einmal
und keine großen Gegenstände
saugen. Es könnte ansonsten
zur Verstopfung der Ansaugöff­nung und zum Verlust der
Saugleistung kommen.

Keine Brennstoffe, Benzin oder
Zigarettenstummel aufsaugen.
Es besteht Feuergefahr.

Staub regelmäßig leeren, um
Geräteschäden zu vermeiden.

6 Wartung und Instandhaltung

Vor der Aufnahme von Instandhaltungsarbeiten prinzipiell den Strom abschalten und den Stecker für
die Ladeeinheit abziehen.

6.1 Saugeinheit, Stielge­häuse, Ladestation

Mit einem trockenen, weichen
Lappen Schmutz vom Gerät
abwischen.

Bei hartnäckigem Schmutz
etwas neutrales Reinigungs­mittel mit Wasser verdünnen,
damit einen weichen Lappen

befeuchten und den Schmutz
entfernen. Mit einem trockenen
Lappen nachwischen.

Keinesfalls Lösungsmittel wie
Verdünner, Benzol oder Reini­gungssprays verwenden.

6.2 Staubbehälter Im Staubbehälter angesam-

melten Staub entfernen und
den Behälter mit lauwarmem
Wasser ausspülen. Für den

Wiedereinbau sicherstellen,
dass der Staubbehälter völlig
trocken ist.

6.3 Filter Die Filter keinesfalls in der

Wasch maschine waschen.
Zum Trocknen kein Heißluftge­bläse (Trockner, Haartrockner)
verwenden.
Bei hartnäckigem Schmutz oder
verminderter Saugleistung nach
folgender Anleitung waschen:

1. Als Erstes den Staub ent­fernen

2. Mit Wasser spülen

3. Die Filter müssen vollständig
getrocknet sein, bevor die
Teile wieder eingebaut wer­den können.

6.4 Power-Bürste Wenn Fransen oder Haare in

der Bürste festsitzen, muss eine
Wartung durchgeführt werden.

Regelmäßige Instandhaltung

Die Bürste langsam von Hand
drehen und fest sitzende Frem­dkörper rund um die Bürste
entfernen.

Instandhaltung: Power-Bürste
lässt sich nicht von Hand
drehen

1. Die linke Seite abschrauben
und die Bürstenabdeckung
anheben und entfernen.

7 Produktentsorgung

Wenn die Akkupacks keine Ladung mehr behalten, ist das Ende der Produktlebensdauer erreicht.

Vor der Entsorgung des Geräts müssen die wieder aufl adbaren Akkupacks herausgenommen und in
Übereinstimmung mit geltenden Bundes- und Ländergesetzen (siehe unten) entsorgt werden.

HINWEIS: Die Akkupacks sind nicht auswechselbar. Nach dem Entfernen der Akkupacks ist das Gerät
der Entsorgung zuzuführen.

1. Das Gehäuse mit einem
Schraubenzieher auf­schrauben.

2. Die Drähte mit einer (Draht-)
Schere durchtrennen, sodass
das Akkufach vollständig von
der Einheit gelöst ist.

3. Das Akkufach mitsamt Motor
herausnehmen.

nehmen. ACHTUNG: Es ist

Die beiden Anschlüsse des
Akkupacks keinesfalls mit
Metallgegenständen und/oder
Körperteilen in Berührung brin­gen; es besteht Kurzschluss­gefahr. Nach dem Herausneh­men sämtliche Anschlüsse des
Akkupacks mit Profi -Tesaband
abdecken. Keinen Versuch
unternehmen, Akkupacks zu
zerstören oder auseinander zu
nehmen, bzw. Bauteile zu ent­fernen. Akkus sind einer sach­gerechten Wiederverwertung
bzw. Entsorgung zuzuführen.

Für diesen Nilfi sk „Handy 2-in-1“
Staubsauger mit wieder aufl ad-
barem Akku gilt eines 2-Jahres­Gerätegarantie auf Motor,
Adapter, Schalter und Gehäuse.
Für Akkus, Filter, Bodenbürsten
und sonstiges Zubehör gilt eine
12-monatige Garantie, und
zwar ausschließlich auf Herstel­lungsmängel (keine Haftung
für Verschleiß-/Abnutzungss­chäden).

Die Gewährleistung umschließt
Ersatzteile und Arbeitskosten
und deckt Herstellungs- und
Materialmängel, die bei nor­malem Haushaltsgebrauch
auftreten können.

Für Serviceleistungen unter
Garantie gilt die Voraussetzung,
dass der beanstandete Mangel
erwiesenermaßen innerhalb
der vereinbarten Gewähr­leistungsfrist aufgetreten ist
(als Nachweis gilt ein ordentlich
ausgefülltes Garantiezertifi kat
oder ein Kaufbeleg mit Fir­men- und Datumsstempel sowie
Modellnennung) und dass es
sich bei dem Gerät um ein von
Nilfi sk-Advance vertriebenes
Neugerät handelt. Wird eine
Mängelreparatur nötig, muss
sich der Kunde auf eigene
Kosten mit Nilfi sk- Advance in
Verbindung setzen, um sich an
einen Servicebetrieb vermitteln

zu lassen. Nach Durchführung
der notwendigen Reparaturen
wird der Staubsauger an den
Kunden retourniert, und zwar
auf Kosten und Verantwortung
von Nilfi sk-Advance.

Haftungsausschluss

• Übliche(r) Verschleiß und
Abnutzung von Zubehör und
Filtern.

• Mängel und Schäden, die
direkt oder indirekt als Folge
von unsachgemäßem Ge­brauch entstehen (Beispiele:
Aufsaugen von Schutt, heißer
Asche oder Teppichpulver).

• Missbräuchliche Nutzung,
Verlust oder Nichtbeach­tung der in der Gebraucha­nleitung aufgeführten
Instandhaltungs erfordernisse.

• Einsatz des Geräts bei
Wohnraumrenovierungen.

• Einsatz des Geräts für Auf­saugen von Wasser, Gipss­taub oder Sägespänen.

betroffen sind ferner falsche

–, Feuerschäden, Feuer,

3.1 Mise en marche et arrêt

3.1.1 Mise en marche Mettez l’appareil en marche

(ON) en actionnant le bouton
de Marche/Arrêt (On/Off) vers
le bas.

Avant d’utiliser le produit pour la
première fois, veuillez char­ger entièrement la batterie, de
même que si le produit n’a pas
été utilisé pendant plus d’un
mois. Cela assure une longue
durée de vie de la batterie.

• La batterie est entièrement

chargée au bout de 16 heu­res. Un chargement prolongé
peut réduire la durée de
vie de la batterie et nuit à
l’environnement.

• Veuillez recharger la bat-

terie lorsque le niveau de la
puissance aspirante devient
insuffi sant. Cela assure une
longue durée de vie de la bat­terie.

• Veuillez éteindre le produit

lorsque la batterie est dé­chargée - elle s’abîmera si le
produit est conservé en posi­tion ON.

Veuillez veiller à ce que la batterie soit complètement chargée lorsque vous utilisez le produit pour la
première fois, ou après une période de stockage prolongée.

• Ne chargez pas le bloc de batteries pendant plus de 16 heures consécutives.

• Ne laissez pas le produit sous tension si le bloc de batteries est déchargé.

• Rechargez le bloc de batteries lorsqu’il est vide, ne le laissez pas déchargé pendant longtemps.

4 Charge de la batterie

Veillez à charger la batterie dans les situations suivantes :

• Lorsque vous utilisez le produit pour la première fois après l’achat.

• Lorsque le niveau de puissance aspirante devient insuffi sant.

• Si le produit n’a pas été utilisé pendant plus d’un mois.

établi et la batterie ne sera
pas chargée. Choisissez un
plancher stable pour y poser
le support de chargeur.

Veillez à ne pas trébucher sur

le câble d’alimentation élec­trique lorsque vous chargez
la batterie.

4. Raccordez la fi che d’alimen-
tation électrique à la prise
secteur

Lorsque la fi che d‘alimenta-

tion électrique du chargeur
de batteries est raccordée à
la prise du courant alternatif
du secteur, la lampe témoin
s’allume.

Nota : Le témoin indicateur
reste allumé quand l’unité est
sous tension. Le corps princi­pal peut chauffer pendant la
charge. Cela n’indique aucune
anomalie.

5 Elimination des déchets

• Essayez de jeter les déchets d’aspiration le plus souvent possible. La poussière qui adhère au fi ltre
peut être à l’origine de mauvaises performances d’aspiration et fatiguer le moteur.

• Lorsque vous procéder à l’élimination des déchets, mettez toujours l’appareil hors tension.

1. Déposez le compartiment à
poussière.

2. Sortez les fi ltres.

3. Videz le compartiment à
poussière.

4. Réinstallez les fi ltres dans le
bon ordre et dans la bonne
position.

5. Réinstallez le compartiment à
poussière dans l’unité d’aspi­ration.

Attention
N’aspirez pas beaucoup de
poussière à la fois, et n’aspirez
pas d’objets de grande taille.
L’orifi ce d’aspiration pourrait
être obstrué, ce qui se traduit
par une perte de puissance
aspirante.

N’aspirez pas le kérosène,
l’essence ou les mégots de
cigarettes. Cela peut provoquer
un incendie.

Evacuez fréquemment la pous­sière afi n de ne pas endomma-
ger le produit.

6 Réparations et maintenance

Mettez toujours l’appareil hors tension (OFF) et débranchez toujours la fi che d’alimentation électrique
du chargeur de batteries de la prise secteur avant de commencer tout travail de maintenance.

6.1 Unité aspirante, corps
de manche, socle char­geur

Effacez toute poussière du
produit au moyen d’un chiffon
sec et doux.

Si la poussière ne veut pas par­tir, nettoyez l’appareil au moyen
d’un chiffon doux et humide
trempé dans une solution d’eau

diluée dans un peu de déter­gent neutre, puis essuyez-le au
moyen d’un chiffon sec.

N’utilisez pas de solvants tels
que les diluants, le benzène,
et les produits nettoyants à
pulvériser.

6.2 Compartiment à pous­sière

Commencez par enlever toute
poussière recueillie dans le
compartiment à poussière,
et lavez le compartiment à

l’eau tiède. Veillez à ce que le
compartiment à poussière soit
entièrement sec avant de le
remonter.

6.3 Filtre Ne lavez pas le fi ltre dans une

machine à laver.

Ne les faites pas sécher au
moyen d’une souffl erie d’air
chaud telle qu’un séchoir à linge
ou à cheveux.

Si la poussière ne veut pas
partir ou en cas de perte de

puissance aspirante, lavez le
fi ltre selon les instructions ci­dessus.

1. Commencez par retirer la
poussière.

2. Lavez à l’eau.

3. Veillez à ce que les fi ltres
soient entièrement secs avant
de remonter les éléments.

6.4 Brosse à moteur Procédez à une maintenance si

des fi ls ou des cheveux se sont
emmêlés dans la brosse.

Maintenance régulière

Faites tourner lentement la
brosse à la main et retirez tout
objet étranger qui s’est emmêlé
autour de la brosse.

Maintenance lorsqu’il est
impossible de faire tourner la
brosse à la main

1. Dévissez le côté gauche, puis
levez et déposez le capot de
la brosse.

2. Soulevez le côté gauche de
la brosse rotative, puis retirez
de la courroie la poulie de la
courroie.

3. Sortez la brosse rotative et
retirez ce qui la bloque. Eva­cuez les déchets.

4. Réinstallez la broche rotative.
Pour fi nir, vérifi ez que le ca-
pot de la brosse est solide­ment fi xé, et que la brosse
rotative tourne correctement.
