Focus II Mid-Size How To
This is how the
machine should look
when you enter the
room.
Fill solution tank with
water (do not exceed
130°F). Add appropriate
cleaning chemical.
Prepare for use

Unplug battery charger.
Wrap cord accordingly.

Add clean water to
tank. Lift lid and add
detergent cartridge. Do
not mix detergent in the
tank (machines with chemical
mixing system only).

Inspect recovery tank,
empty debris catch
cage then lower the lid.
Inspect squeegee
blade, install squeegee
on machine and attach
recovery hose to the
squeegee inlet.

Inspect brush or pad.
Turn on machine. Verify
there is enough battery
power to complete job.

Install brush or padholder under the deck.
Use yellow palm

switches to move
forward and white
button for reverse.
Adjust speed of
machine as needed.

Install brush for
Cylindrical models.
Review operator
controls. Prepare
use.

Scrubbing
While in motion, press
the one touch scrub
button then adjust the
solution flow rate.

Release palm switches
to pause. Press reverse
button for backward
motion. Press one
scrub button to stop
scrubbing.

Use the extra pressure
button for heavy soiled
areas (disc and Boost
machines only).

Pre-wet stripping pad.
Adjust to slow speed

Vacuum on/off. Vacuum
only to pick up water.
Turn vacuum off for
double scrubbing.

Lower squeegee and
engage extra pressure
to begin scrubbing

Install red pad and
maroon pad for
chemical free stripping.
Add plain water to the
solution tank.

Flip pad when it
becomes worn. Scrub
floor before laying down
new finish.

Empty recovery tank
and solution tank.
Empty water in suitable
drain or bucket. Rinse
recovery tank. Empty
and rinse debris catch
cage. Check gasket
cover.
