INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before proceeding with the installation
OVERVIEW OF NW520
IMPORTANT: THE INTALLATION OF THIS FITTING MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIE D ELECTRICIAN.
This fitting must be earthed.
Do not mount the luminaire against inflammable surfaces.
The motion detector will not operate correctly if it is installed:
( Ⅰ) N ear the outl et of a cen tra l h eati n g boi ler
( Ⅱ) N ear an air conditioning plant
( Ⅲ) Poi n ti n g d i rectl y at mov i ng vehi cl es
( Ⅳ) Within sight of reflection from moving water
( Ⅴ) W here other l am ps coul d shi ne onto th e d etector
NOTE: This highl y res p onsive unit may occasi onally activate due t o rap id environ m ental chan g es . Allow for approximately
30 seconds warm-up time before the sensor resumes normal activity.

INSTALLATION AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the inse t back mounti ng box from the luminaire. Fit the inset back mounting box on to the wall an d tighten th e screws
at a height that ensures adequa te coverage of t he area by the infrared detector. Th e min imum installation h eight is 2 meters.
And the max imum heig h t is 3 meters .
*Please make sure the voltage and polarity are correct before co nnect ion. Inco r r ect vo ltage may cause an
electric shock. I f you are not sure, please co nt act yo u r retailer or a qualified electrician.
NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE THE SECURING TAPE ON THE FITTING UNTIL THE UNIT IS
FULLY INSTALLED.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Feed the c able carefully th rough t he bac k mounting box and bus h to avoid abrasion to the ca ble.
Connect the earth wire to the conn ector opposit e the green/yellow cabl e.
Connect the brown phase c onduct or active to the connector opp osite the brown cable and tighten the screws.
Connect the blue neutral conductor to the connector opposit e the blue ca bl e and tighten the screws.
Check th at all conn ections ar e correct and ti ght, as any mis connection s wi ll damage the detector.
Re-fit the fitting to the back mounti ng box.

FUNCTION
This light is equipped with 3 motion sensors: zone 1 covers 6 0 degree, z on e 2 covers 100 degr ees and zone 3 covers 60 degrees .
220 degrees (maximum) in total for 3 zones.
The light will switch on f or 3 minutes and off automatically when heat/ movement is detected.
The factory default: the light on is fixed at 3 minutes and is set to Night-time mode.
To change the mode to All Day Mode, push the button at the bottom of the housing and the hidden LED indicator will
turn off under this mode. The light will be on at 3 minutes when detecting any movement at day and night.
Push-button for pr ogramm able fu ncti ons:
- All d ay mode: light works on day and night
- Night-time mode : light works at night only
Reset function: If the stepper motor of tracking light is working abnormally, the hidden LED indicator will flash red and
the light will stop turning automatically. In All Day mode, the red light will flash for 5 seconds and off for 5 seconds; in
Night-time mode, the red light will flash in the regular pattern. Please simply switch the mains power off and on to reset
the tracking light. Below are the possible abnormal situation s;
- External force: the light head is blocked by objec ts or is blown by stron g wind an d is unable t o turn pr operly, th e hidden
LED will flash in red to signal users the abnormal situation.
- Stepper Motor : when the stepper motor is reaching the end of its life or is damaged, th e bottom hidden LED will flash
red to signal a malfunction. Please switch the NW520 off and on at the mains, the tracking light now may or may not
resume operation. If the stepper motor stops working and is outside the standar d war r an ty period, the NW520 will
continue to functio n as a regular motion sensor security light.

OPERATION
1. Turn on th e wall switch to activate the light, the light is now under Night-time mode
NOTE: Allow approximately 30 seconds warm-up time before the sensor resumes normal activity.
2. To test, wa l k through th e s ensor’s detection area.
3. After the light is activated, keep out of detection area and th e light will switch off automatically after 3 minutes. The
light will be activated again when detecting any movement.
If there is continuing movement in the detection zone, the light will stay on until movement ceases. (after 3 minutes)
NOTE: THE INTELLIGENT MOTION SENSOR TRACKING LIGHT IS DESIGNED TO ILLUMI NATE WHEN THE
DETECTION AREA IS ENTERED BY A PERSON AND WILL DETECT MOVING HEAT SOURCE. THERE IS NO
GUARANTEE IMPLIED THAT IT WILL PROVIDE TOTAL SECURITY OR PREVENT ILLEGAL ENTRY.
