Nightsearcher products have been carefully tested and inspected before
shipment and are guaranteed to be free from defective materials and
workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase,
provided that the enclosed instructions have been followed.
Should you experience problems with your Nightsearcher product, please
return the complete item including charger to your purchase stockist or
contact Nightsearcher Ltd, at the address below.
If upon inspection it is found that the fault occurring is due to defective
materials or workmanship repairs will be carried out free of charge. This
guarantee does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any
damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations,
accidents, or repairs attempted or made by any personnel without prior
approval from Nightsearcher Ltd. Bulbs are a consumable and are not
covered by this guarantee. Your Nightsearcher guarantee is not effective
unless you can produce a dated receipt of purchase.

Safe disposal of waste electrical products, batteries and bulbs
If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this product or
any part of this product: Please note that waste electrical products,
batteries and bulbs should not be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where facilities exist, please check with your local authority
for recycling advice. Alternatively you can return your product to
Nightsearcher and we will recycle it on your behalf.

Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure that the accuracy of the information

Important Warning
For safety reasons, please bear in mind that this is a high powered professional
lamp, which generates considerable heat if left switched on or in a confined
space, this is due to the heat emitted by the high powered bulbs. Please ensure
that the lens is not obstructed by any flammable material, including the shoulder
strap. It is also recommended, when the torch is not in use, to unscrew the fuse
cap by half a turn or remove. This will prevent the lamp from turning on if the
switch is accidentally knocked, especially when in transit.
Store in a safe dry place and away from children.
The mains charger is CE Rated and should only be used indoors.
Charging Instructions
Always charge the lamp before use and ensure the switch is in the off position
whilst charging.
To recharge simply connect your Panther HiD Charger into the mains supply,
connect the jack plug into the Nightsearcher Panther the LED on the charger will
turn Red to show the unit is charging. When the battery is fully charged the
charger LED will turn Green. The Lithium-ion battery performs at its maximum
capacity after being charged five or six times. Warning only use the charger
provided with your Panther HID any other charger will damage the battery.
Please ensure the 10Amp fuse is fitted securely in holder before use.
Maintenance Instructions
To change the bulb:
1. Unscrew the lightfront of the Panther and pull away from the case.
2. Diconnect the two in line connectors by lifting the clip.
3. Unscrew the two retaining screws and extract the bulb. Care must be
taken not to touch the new bulb with bare hands, as this will impair the
performance and life of the bulb
4. Refit new bulb into holder and refit the lamp in reverse order as taken
apart.
To change the battery:
1. Remove the Fuse from the fuseholder by unscrewing it in an anti
clockwise direction before you start to undo the lamp.
2. Open the lamp by un-screwing the lightfront (Lens) of the Panther in an
anti clockwise direction, once fully unscrewed, remove the metalic
reflector (containing the bulbs) from the panther case.
3. Disconnect all the connections to the PCB to remove the battery pack.
4. Refit in reverse order as taken apart.
