1.0INST ALLATIONOVERVIEW
Find an appropriate place for all the boxes; connect firstthe GRA 02wires (W1 main wire), then W2, W3 and W5.
• Place the GRA 02 at thedriver’sside, near the steering wheel.
• SS 02 SHOCK SENSOR: positioning and pressing itto the metal surface at the driver’sside is necessary, or it
should be tightly puttothe metal surface underthetapestry. (Layer of paintdoesn’tmatter.)It hasno predetermined
spot, since itvaries from carto car.Avoidaccidental stepping on it, should be well hidden and in firm contact withthe
metalsurface.
NOTE:ifplaced 5-10 cm away, reading of sensitivity may be different, given the fact thatthere are various
lowand high convergences of resonance in the frame ofthe car.Placedcentrally, the SS02 SHOCK
SENSORprovidesamoreor less concentric protection. Placed on the metal surface of the door-step
athedriver’s side, the SS 02 SHOCK SENSOR has a greaterdegree of sensitivity onthat particular
side.Byincreasingthedistance,thesensitivitywilllessen.
• Place the W-COM-02 box toa farther distance on accountof telephone transmission. Ideally, spacepermitting, the
box should be placed intoor below the glovecompartment. While the phone shouldnotbe visible, it shouldbeeasily
accessibleandprogrammable.
• The installation of the REMOTE STARTERRS 02 (availabilityisoptional)is found in the kit.
Only an expert should dothe installation. Place all theboxes so they can meetmechanical and esthetical standard
(with the exception of the immobilizerrelays)
The security wires are ofthesame color, black and numbered (wire W1.)Forwire extension use blackcolorand upon
installationtear the number off of it. The added wireshould notbe thinner thanthe original.(WIRE)
1.0INSTALLATIONOF THE GRA02
We recommend the driver’s sideas place for installationofthe GRA 02. Priortothe final installation anddespitethe
automatic adjustment of sensitivity, set the P1and P2 trimmers, as perthe car or user’s needs. The setting shouldbe
done only after connecting the wires andwhen all wehave left to do is putting theGRA 02 toits final place. Set the
SHOCK Sensor’sbasic sensitivity with theP1 trimmer. Set theP2 trimmer (DEPTH) to such degree as tobe able to
reactto an impact of a stronger fender-bender.These adjustmentsare needed because every car has itsown peculiar
chassis. At this time the P1 basic sensitivity should also be set. Set the sensitivity to the highest level so when tapping
on the topor the sideof the car the MONITOR LED light up 3 to 5seconds. This settingshould be donein a quiet place
with 2 conditionson mind:
1.Make a callto your carand upon acknowledgment press button 6 and make a test/adjustment to which you have 1
minute 30 seconds.
2.Turn on (ON 1)then turn off(OFF) the alarm system with the remotecontrol. It is necessary because 45 seconds
later the MONITOR LED willdisplay in full brightnessthewords: “PASSIVEARMING” and during thistime tests
cannot be done. By exceeding the 45 seconds press ON1 and OFFagain.
1.1 Setting the P2 DEPTH when the system is in operation mode: (it’s a good idea to perform this test
periodically)
• Before the GRA02 is inthe final position
• Closeall doors
• Turnoffthealarm
• Turnonthe alarm

1.0INSTALLATIONOF THE GRA 02 (continued)
1.1 Setting the P2 DEPTH when the system is in operation mode: (continued)
• Wait for 30 seconds (rebooting time, theceiling lights are turning off)
• Taptheroof/sideof the car with your hand, first quietlythen increasethe volumewhile observingatwhatimpact
the alarm will go off.Ina noisy environment the alarmshould only go off atastronger impact.
1.2 Events that may create false alarm:
• Overheatedmetal parts of the car (crackling sound) while contracting/expanding.
• Childrenplaying ballgames nearby, theball falls on or bounces againstthe car
•Asmaller branchmay fall onto thecar while parking under a tree
2.0 W-COM-02 Protective Cell Phone Box
This installation requires careful planning;whileit should be wellhidden,it should be also easilyaccessible when
entering telephone numbers. It isrecommended to install it atthe driver’s side and wellhidden. Make sure that thewire
(W3)is long enough, so when entering aphone number, wecan conveniently hold the set in ourhand.
Prior to phone installation enterthephone number and select aring tone. The ring toneisoptional; high pitched tone or
individuallycomposed.
Enteringthe phone number is arranged bythe addressbook ofthe phone, and attachesa voice sampleto eachnumber.
(Maximum3phonenumbers)
Now we can testit;make a call fromanother phone to yourcar phone and wait foracknowledgment. Send commands to
the alarm system by pressing the buttons 1to 9. If no commands were sent, thecar phone will disconnect in 14-16
seconds.
NOTE: Since notification via the phoneis timerestricted, ringing may be shorter or nonein anoverloaded
telephonenetwork.
3.0 RS 02 RemoteStarter Box forNGT CAR ALARM GRA02
• We can make contact withthe RS 02 betweentheGRA 02 central GSMtelephone-equippedalarm system and the
engine. The engine may be startedfromany distance while the alarm andprotectionsystemis on, provided the alarm
waspreviously turned on. Only the vibration sensor willturn offwhile theengine isgetting started.
The jumper – marked as JP1 – in the RS 02 can be setin 3 ways:
1.Themiddle and upper switches are on: “AUXILIAR ON”
– by pressing button 8, a high capacity machinemay

3.2 Starting the car through the phone:
The JP1 is inthe GRA02,and the hood isdown. Startingthe engine through thephone is 1minute after the alarm is
activated.Sequence:
1.Makea call to the car-phone(the phone numbershould be confidential)
2.Uponlogging in pressbutton9 for about 4-6 seconds(enteringimpulse) release it for 1secondand press it
again for 2-3seconds.At this time the engineshould start, and it’sacknowledged by ashort beep. If the engine
did not start, repeat the starting impulse by pressing the button again2 to 3 seconds, while listening tothe
beep, indicating that the engine hasbeen started.
Note! The connection time between the 2 phones are 8 to 15seconds depending onsetting. In otherwords
thecarphone will automatically disconnect in 8 to 15 seconds fromthe time of lastpressing buttons
(0to 9). Each pressing will restart the 8 to 15seconds time period.
3.Oncethe engineis running, wecannot restart it.
4.WhenFig. 3-C versioninstallationtakes place, it is strictlyforbiddento remove the high voltage cableoffthe
spark plug while the motorisrunning.
5.Duringcar repair the wire rolled onto thecable should be removed.
6.Warning sound for thepeople standing around the car. Prior tothe entry impulse ashort (1 sec) honkindicates
the engine start.
7.Forsafety reasons the engine willonly run for5 minutes, thenstops. For moretime, make another call and if
the engine is still runningpress button 9 for 2 to 3 seconds.
• Ask from client as to what he/she needs to use the JP1 program jumper in the RS 02, and set it accordingly. The
jumper is in the box, to gain access remove the lid.
• First connect the high voltage cables, cut up to the shortest possible length(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5). The small sized box
of the RS02 may beconveniently put near the ignition key along the wires. In it are the special relays, and despite
their size they can take 20Ahigh capacity. See RS02 Fig 2A for method of connecting thehigh voltage cable.
• Connect the wires in chargeof the engine (B1, B2,B3, B4, B5, B6, B7)as seen on RS 02 Fig 3 A-B-C. TheOFF
button should bein off positionand placed wellhidden, but accessible. With this switch we can turn on and off the RS
02.

• Put the closed box (RS 02) toits final place and make sure thatthe wires are not entwined around anythingalong the
cable, mount the box to the cables orto any other fixed objectunder the steering wheel system.
• Place the wires connecting to the GRA02. Since thedistance between them is no greater than50 cm, the8-wired
cable leading to it isthin. Connect it to the GRA 02 through the CB6 plug, butprior to it unscrew the 3 screwsof the
GRA02 and press the 2 plugs together within the box.At the same time putthe jumper JP1 to its allocated placein
theGRA 02 box, because only after thiscan theengine bestarted throughtelephone. Thisoption beneficiaryfor those
whodon’t need to start the engine throughthe phone, subsequently thesubfunctionswill not interfere either.
• After closing thebox we maytest the engine start in remote mode as per the manual. Prior to it however turn on the
switch K1 on the RS 02, andleave it inthat position. Turn it off only whenyou don’t needto start the engine through
