Normallycleantheplayerwithasoft,drycloth.Fortoughdirt,applysomeneutral detergentdilutedin5to6partswatertoasoftcloth,wringoutthoroughly.Wipeoff thedirt,thenwipetheplayerwithadrycloth.Notethatalcohol,thinner,benzene, insecticides,etc.,maycausetheprintorcoatingtopeeloff.Alsoavoidleaving rubberorplasticproductsincontactwiththeplayerforlongperiodsoftime,asthis
maydamagethecabinet.Whenusingchemicallytreatedcloths,readthecloth's instructionscarefully.Alwaysunplugthepowercordfromthepoweroutletbefore cleaningtheplayer.
Tocleandirtofftheliquidcrystaldisplay,wipethedisplaygentlywithasoft,dry cloth(Suchasaneyeglasscleaningcloth).Notethatleavingwaterdropletsonthe displayforlongperiodsoftimemayresultindiscolorationorstains.Fortoughdirt, useacommerciallyavailableliquidcrystaldisplaycleaner.

Chargethebatterypackfullybefore usingitforthefirsttime.
Whenthesurroundingtemperature ishigh,thebatterypackmay sometimesbeunusabledueto activationofprotectioncircuitry.
WhentheportableDVDplayeris poweredfromthebatterypackand iftheplayerhasnotbeenoperated forabout10minuteswiththepower switchedon,theplayerwillturnoff automatically.(Autopoweroff) Thebatterypackandtheportable DVDplayerbecomehotduringuse. Thisisnotmalfunction.
Whenthebatterypackisnottobe usedforalongperiod,besureto removeitfromtheportableDVD player.Ifthebatterypackisleft attached,continualflowofweak currentrendersitoverdischarged andeventuallyunusableevenwhen youtrytochargeitlater.
IftheportableDVDplayerisswitched onwhilethebatterypackisnotfully charged,theoperationmay sometimesbeunstable.Besureto chargethebatterypackfullybefore use.
