Precautions

 Do not use the non-dedicated power supply, because it may be in trouble due to the mismatch

of power.

 Do not spill any liquid substance or take any conductive objects into the product, otherwise it

will cause a short circuit and damage the product.

 Do not vibrate, shake or knock the product sharply.
 Do not plug in or pull out any external components or equipment in a charging state, it may

cause damage to the internal circuitry. Cut off the power before turn off the machine’s power.

 Do not place the product in an elevated temperature, humid, dusty or strong electromagnetic

field environment.

 When a fault occurs, immediately turn off the power supply and discontinue to use the product,

please contact the service sector related to our company.

 Do not open and repair it by yourself.
 When the terminal being attacked by unscrupulous environment(such as opening the terminal

shell, etc.), the internal sensitive information stored in the terminal will be erased. For avoiding
unnecessary trouble, you should not open the housing.

 When the battery reaches the service life, it can not be thrown away, it should be disposed in

compliance with local laws and regulations or instructions.

Installation Guidance

1. Install the batte ry

 Open th e battery cove r of the device.
 Conne ct the cable o f the battery to t he right side batt ery connector o n the machine an d

put the ba ttery to its plac e. (Tag label on th e battery upwa rds)

 Close t he battery cov er.

NOTE: Wh en removin g the battery, plea se pick up the batt ery, then gently for ced to unplug it to
avoid da mage to cables .

2. Install SIM/SA M card

 Open th e battery cove r and remove the batt ery.
 Keep the c hip side on the SI M/SAM card dow nward and unfil led corner o utward, insert t he

card to the b ottom.

 Install t he battery and th en close the batte ry cover.

NOTE: 1. Confirm the m achine is turn ed off when you in stall or uninsta ll the SIM/UIM c ard, or
your car d will be damage d.

2. Do not p aste any label o n the SIM/SAM ca rd to influence y our card thick ness, or it
may resu lt in loading or r emoving the ca rd can not be carri ed out smoothl y.

3. Power on/off the device

Power on: p ress and hold the p ower key until the LC D display, then th e machine wi ll be

turne d on.

Power off: p ress and hold the p ower key more than 2 se conds, then the s creen will give y ou

a tips, yo u just choose the s hutdown key.

Force shu t down: Press the p ower key more than 8 se conds.

4. Install the printer paper

 Pull up th e handle and ope n the paper hold er Lid.
 Put the pr inter paper into p aper holder Li d according to the d irection of the g raphic.
 Close t he paper cove r.

NOTE: 1. W hen instal l thermal pa per, we ne ed the side co ated with the rmal media f acing the
printe r heating plate, or you can not prin t out the cha racters corr ectly.

2. Do not kee p the printer pap erless for long t ime, or it may cau se the roller pa sting with

the pla te.

3. The tem perature is hi gh on the heatin g plate, please d o not touch it wit hout cooling.

4. Tear-off k nife edge is shar p, please be car eful. Do not touc h it for avoiding d anger.

The SAR limit of Europe is 2.0 W/kg. Device types Smart POS Terminal has also been tested against
this SAR limit. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for
use worn on the body is 1.003 W/kg. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with
the back of the handset kept 0cm from the body. To maintain compliance with RF exposure
requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0cm separation distance between the user's body
and the back of the handset. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories should not
contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these
requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided.
