SAFETY INFORMATION & WARNINGS
Please read the following guidelines carefully before using this air conditioner.
• Only use this unit in household or residential settings.
• Always keep the unit on a flat surface and in a dry place. Keep at least 20 inches of
space on all sides of the unit to maintain efficiency and safety.
• The power cord must comply with the safety regulations outlined in this guide.
• Always ensure reliable grounding, and only use a compatible wall plug for the power
cord.
• After installing the air conditioner, make sure the plug is undamaged and can be
inserted into the outlet securely.
• Keep air intake and output openings free of any obstruction.
• The air conditioner must be installed in accordance with all relevant wiring
regulations. Do not attempt to modify the wiring of this unit.
• The air conditioner should not be used anywhere near gasoline appliances, stoves or
other heat sources or combustible materials.
• Always keep the power cord out of the way to prevent tripping hazards.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorized service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid safety
hazards.
• This appliance can only be used by children 8 years old and above, and must not be
used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge. They must be given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be done by children without supervision.
Prohibitions:
• Do not install the air conditioner in bathrooms or other places where it could come
into contact with water or moisture build-up.
• Turn the unit off before unplugging the power cord.
• Do not place anything on top of the unit, or inside any of the air vents.
• Do not use insecticide spray or other flammable substances in the vicinity of the air
conditioner.
• Be careful not to splash any liquids on the unit, and do not wash it directly with water
or other liquids. It is safe to wipe the unit with a damp cloth, but ensure that it is
completely dry before turning it on.
• Do not wipe the air conditioner with chemical solvents such as benzene, gasoline,
alcohol, etc. If the air conditioner is dirty, please clean only with neutral detergents.
• WARNING: Immediately stop using the unit if the ambient temperature in the room
rises above 104 ℉.
