To comply with legal RF requirements it is not allowed to use the directional antenna in combination with a RX with an inserted repeater module. All other RX modules should be used in combination with the directional antenna to increase the RSSI level!

Transmission power should be set to a level suitable to the application. Avoid RF distortion caused by using more output power than needed.
Level the transmission power to reach a RSSI level within the green range
According to FCC regulations, angled position­ing of RF devices is only permitted when using the upper channels (149-165; indoor and outdoor) or the lower channels (40-48; indoor)! For outdoor use with channels 40-48, antennas must be in the vertical position.
