3. Beschreibung KM 133 D
Das KM 133 D ist ein digitales Mikrofon der modularen Kleinmikrofonserie KM D. Es enthält die
Kapsel KK 133 (nx/st) mit der Richtcharakteristik
Kugel, diff usfeld-entzerrt.
Die Kapsel wird fast vollständig aus Titan gefertigt und basiert auf den Mikrofonen M 50, TLM 50
und M 150 Tube. Wie bei diesen ist die Kapsel mit
einer Schallbeugungskugel SBK 133 mit 40 mm
Durchmesser versehen, die den frontalen Frequenzgang bei hohen Frequenzen sehr gleichmäßig ansteigen lässt. Der Diff usfeldfrequenzgang
ist damit sehr eben. Nimmt man die Schallbeugungskugel ab, ist der frontale Frequenzgang bis
6 kHz eben und steigt darüber um 4–5 dB an.
Das KM 133 D ist besonders für Orchester- und andere Ensemble-Aufnahmen geeignet, in Räumen
mit angenehmer Akustik.

3. KM 133 D Description
The KM 133 D is a digital microphone of the
modular KM D small microphone series. It has the
KK 133 (nx/st) capsule, with polar pattern omnidirectional, diff use-fi eld equalized.
The capsule is almost completely made of titanium. It is based on the microphones M 50, TLM 50
and M 150 Tube. As in those microphones, the
capsule is provided with an SBK 133 sound diffraction sphere of 40 mm diameter. The sphere
makes the frontal frequency response rise very
smoothly towards high frequencies, resulting in a
fl a t d i ff use-fi eld response. Taking the sphere off ,
the frontal frequency response is fl at up to 6 kHz,
above that frequency rising by 4–5 dB.
The KM 133 D is particularly suited for orchestral
and other ensemble recordings in acoustically
pleasant spaces.
