Packaging

the

The
soup
kettle
consists
ofaheated
outer
pot
with
thermostatic
control,
a
removable
stainless
steel
inner
pot
andaring,
whichissetontopofthe
outer
pot.
The
device
is
provided
witharotary
and
fold-away
stainless
steel
lid
withaladle
cut-out
andaheat-
insulated
handle.
The
lid
locks
into
three
different
positions:
Closed:
for
quick,
economic
heating
Fold-up:
for
servingoffoods
Opened
sideways:
for
filling
in
foods

Cleaning
and
care
6.1
Security
advice
o
Before
beginning
with
repairorcleaning
works
make
sure
the
device
has
been
disconnected
from
power
socket
(pull
the
power
plugü!)
and
has
cooled
down.
o
Do
not
use
any
acid
agents
and
make
surenowater
ingresses the
device.
o To
protect
yourself
from
electric
shock,
never
immerse
the
device,
its
cables
and
the
pluginwaterorother
liquids.

for direct
washing
via
water
Jets.
Therefore,
you
must
not
use
any
kind
ofpressure
water
jet for
cleaning
the
device!
6.2
Cleaning
•
Clean
the
device
after
every
use.
•
Set
the
control
thermostat
to
„0"
setting.
•
Pull
the
power
plug
outofthe
socket.
•
Let
the
device
cool
down.
•
Remove
the
inner
pot
and
cleanittogether
with
the
stainless
steel
lid
and
the
carrying
ring
using
soap
water/
dish
liquid.
NOTE!
Outer
pot,
inner
pot
and
carrying
ring
should
be
cleansed
after
each
use,
as
overflowing
foods
and
the
contained
spices
and
salts
are
aggressive
and
may
affect
the
materials.
•
In
case
you
intendtotransport
or
störe the
device
afterithas
been
used
you
oughttoremove
the
remaining
water.
WARNING!
Scald
danger!
The
remaining
water
should
be
removed
oniy
after
the
device
has
cooled
down.

pot

inside
and
the
outside
usingasoft
cloth
andamild
cleaning
agent
(soap
water
e.g.).

Use
soft
cloth
only
and
make
sure
you
never
use
any
kindofabrasive
agents

scratch
the
surface.
•
After
the
cleaning
procedure
you
should
useasoft
and
dry
clothtowipe
dry
and
polish
the
surface.
•
Make
sure
the
device
has
been
cleaned
properly
before
storing
itina
dry
place.

Security
advice
for
maintenance
o
Check
the
mains
connection
cable
for
damage
from
timetotime.
Never
operate
the
device
when
the
cableisdamaged.Ifthe
mains
connection cable
shows
defects,
letaqualified
electrician
exchange
it.

When
you
encounter
damagesorfailures

your

dealerorour
customer
service.
o
Only
qualified
experts
may
perform
repair
and

replacement

Never

Waste
disposal
Discarding
old

life

discarded
device

disposed

accordance

the

regulations.
Itisadvisable
to

waste
disposal,

just

the
local
disposal
serviceinyour

disconnect

supply
