Direct-Attach SFP+ Cable

The Direct-Attach Cable, also known as a twinax cable,
saves cost, reduces complexity, and increases reliability of
short 10 Gigabit network links.

This 5-meter copper cable attaches directly between two
SFP+ slots in Net Optics data monitoring and network
controller switches, and equipment from most leading
network and monitoring suppliers. It carries 10 Gbps
traffic at full bandwidth, without the need for expensive
SFP+ transceivers and fiber cables.
