The Netopia R3100-I ID S LD SU allows a business to easily and cost-effective l y m i g rate to ID S Lf rom any leased line connection that uses a V.35 interface ro u t e r, such as T1 or DDS.
As a technology, IDSL is very flexible and allows service providers to offer DSL service to customers in locations where line conditions don’t qualify for higher speed SDSL service.
The Netopia ID S LD SU features the unique ability to sense the connection type (Fra m e Relay or Bridged 1483) and automatically c o n f i g u re itself for use as a DSU or Ethernet bridge.
In intelligent bridge mode, Netopia D3100-I offers packet filtering for enhanced security and business-class management feature s including Telnet and SNMP a v ailable locally or re m o t e l y.
