Standard TV Sequencing Tuner

NM-TUNER

The NetMedia TUNER demodulates one or more analog standard definition (SDTV) channels and outputs a
single static or sequencing composite audio/video signal. Once demodulated, the selected channel(s) can be
input into monitors, multiplexers, quads, DVR’s, or any composite A/V device including HD and digital TV’s. This
provides convenient viewing access to modulated security cameras or analog antenna and cable TV signals.

Product Includes:

1. Tuner Assembly (Video Output Connector, 2 - Audio Output Connectors, RF Input Connector,
Power Input Connector, End Plate, Switch Bank, Save Button, AIR/CABLE Switch, Power LED).

2. 12V DC 300mA Power Transformer (Center Conductor Positive).

3. RCA Video Cable.

Installation Procedures:

1. Connect a video device to the tuner’s RCA Video Output Connector. Adapter’s such as BNC to RCA may be
used as necessary. If audio is available, connect the tuner’s monaural Audio Output Connectors to the
output device.

2. Connect the coax cable from a modulated camera or distribution system to the tuner’s RF Input Connector.

3. Remove the End Plate from the tuner assembly and select a channel with the switches as shown in Figure 1.
For VHF/UHF antenna channels 2-83, move the AIR/CABLE Switch to AIR. For cable channels 2-135, move the
AIR/CABLE Switch to CABLE.

4. If sequencing from multiple channels press the Save Button. Select and Save all desired channels. When
finished, move the switches to set the dwell time in 1/10 second intervals as shown in Figure 1. To erase the
last channel, set all switches off and press the Save Button once for every setting to remove. To erase all
channels and reset the unit, press and hold the Save Button while applying power.

5. Replace the End Plate and connect the 12V DC 300mA power supply to the Power Connector and an AC outlet.
