standard network hub. A SmartSwitch is easy to install,
it configures itself, and it’s at home in any network
environment – TCP/IP, Windows® or AppleTalk.

HOW DOES NETCOMM’S SMARTSWITCH DO THIS?

By using intelligent networking technology, NetComm’s
SmartSwitch pinpoints the exact recipient of a packet of data and
delivers that data directly to it, whereas an ordinary network hub
simply “sprays” the data to everyone, clogging up the system with
network traffic. The SmartSwitch reduces network traffic, resulting
in higher data transfer speeds and fewer network errors. Simply
put, SmartSwitch directly connects PCs to PCs, and PCs to network
peripherals such as Print Servers and NAS units, ensuring your
network is operating efficiently and your staff get their work
completed faster.
