1.SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read all instructions and keep these safety instructions. Any type of
misuse of the appliance may resultin a potential injury.
In case of any inappropriate use or failure to comply withthe
instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility andthe
guarantee may not apply.
The guarantee does not cover appliances thatdo notwork or do not
work properly because they have not been maintained and/or descaled.
INTENDED USE

This appliance isintended to be used in household only. It is not
intended to be used in following applications, andthe guarantee will

ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY

Connect the appliance to a mains power socket with anearth
connection only. Mains voltage must be the same as the details on
the rating plate. The use of incorrect connection will negate the
guarantee andmay be hazardous.

To protectagainst fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not
immerse the power cord, plugs or the appliance in water or other
liquid. Avoid spillage on the plug. Never touch the power cord with
wethands. Do not overfill the water tank.

In case of an emergency remove the plug from the mains power

Unplug from the mainspower socket when not in use.

CONDITIONSOFUSE

Do notturn offthe appliance during the descaling process.
Rinse the water tank and cleanthe appliance to avoid any
residual descaling agent.

Operate the rinse cycle before re-using your appliance.

We recommend using the NESCAFÉ®DolceGusto®capsules
designed andtested for the NESCAFÉ®DolceGusto®machine.
They were designed to interact together – the interaction
provides the in-cup quality that NESCAFÉ®DolceGusto®is
knownfor. Each capsule is designed to prepare aperfect cup,
and cannot be reused.

Do notremove hot capsulesby hand. Always use capsule
holder handle to dispose ofused capsules.

Always insert the capsule holder in the machine to prepare a
beverage. The appliance will not work if the capsule holder is
notinserted. Do not pull outthe capsule holder before the
indicator stopsblinking.

Machines equipped with a locking handle: Scalding may occur
if the lockinghandle isopened during the brewing cycles. Do
notpull up the lockinghandle before the lightson the machine
stop flashing.

For health reasons, always fill the water tank with fresh
drinking water.

After use ofthe appliance alwaysremove the capsule and
clean the capsule holder. Empty andclean the drip tray and
capsule bin daily. Food allergy sufferers must rinse the
