1. OVERVIEW

Proton 6 QUAD USB is a professional, light & compact fix­ture powered by 6 RGBA 8W LEDs. Member of the success­ful return of Proton Series, the unit is equipped with quad­color LED technology, enabling a smooth RGBA mix with no
multicolor shadows. The addition of amber gives the possi­bility to achieve more vivid and saturated colors. Thanks to
its power and 20º beam angle this equipment is ideal for the
most demanding stages and installations. Amongst its most
relevant features the user will find the built-in USB port that

- in combination with NEO Stick USB - allows the user to
control the unit in wireless mode or via NEO Wi app – iOS®
& Android®.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. The products referred to in this manual conform
to the European Community Directives and are
there- fore marked with .

2. The unit is supplied with hazardous network
voltage (230V~). Leave servicing to skilled per­ sonnel only. Never make any modifications on
the unit not described in this instruction manual,
otherwise you will risk an electric shock.

3. Connection must be made to a power supply sys­ tem fitted with efficient earthing (class I appliance
according to standard EN 60598-1). It is, moreo­ ver, recommended to protect the supply lines of
the units from indirect contact and/or shorting to
earth by using appropriately sized residual current devices.

4. The connection to the main network of electric
distribution must be carried out by a qualified
electrical installer. Check that the main frequency
and voltage correspond to those for which the
unit is designed as given on the electrical data label.

5. This unit is not for home use, only professional applications.

6. Never use the fixture under the following conditions:

- in places subject to vibrations or bumps;

- in places with a temperature of over 45 °C.

7. Make certain that no inflammable liquids, water or
metal objects enter the fixture.

8. Do not dismantle or modify the fixture.

9. All work must always be carried out by a qualified

technical personnel. Contact the nearest sales
p oint for an inspection or contact the manufacturer directly.

10. If the unit is to be put out of operation definitvely,
take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.

WARNING AND INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

• If this device will be operated in any way different

to the one described in this manual, it may suffer
damage and the guarantee becomes void. Further
more, any other operation may lead to dangers like
short circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

• Before starting any maintenance work or cleaning

the projector, cut off power from the main supply.

• For inside use only. Not designed for outside use.

• The minimum distance between the fixture and

surrounding walls must be more than 50cm and
t he air vents at the housing must not be covered in any case.

• Install the fixture in a well ventilated place.

• Keep any inflammable material at a safe distance

from the fixture.

• The maximum temperature that can be reached

on the external surface of the fitting, in a thermally
steady state, is high. After power off, please cool
down over 15 minutes.

• Shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens shall be

changed if they have become damaged to such an
extent that their effectiveness is impaired.

• The lamp(LED) shall be changed if it has become

damaged or thermally deformed.

• Never look directly at the light beam. Please note

that fast changes in lighting, e.g. flashing light, may
trigger epileptic seizures in photosensitive per­ sons or persons with epilepsy.

4. INTRODUCTION

MOUNTING

PROTON 6 QUAD USB may be set up on a solid and even
surface. The unit can also be mounted upside down to a
cross arm. For fixing, stable mounting clips are required.
The mounting place must be of sufficient stability and be
able to support a weight of 10 times of the unit’s weight.
When carrying out any installation, always comply scrupulous­ly with all the regulations (particularly regarding safety) cur­rently in force in the country in which the fixture’s being used.

• Install the projector at a suitable location by means of the
mounting bracket (1).

• Always additionally secure the projector with the safety
rope from falling down. For this purpose, fas­ten the safety rope at a suitable position so that the maxi­mum fall of the projector will be 20 cm.

• Adjust the projector and use the knob (2) to slightly re­lease or tighten the locking mechanism of the

Functions of the buttons

5. FUNCTIONS & SETTINGS

OPERATION

Connect the supplied main cable to a socket (100-240
VAC-50/60 Hz). Then the unit is ready for operation and
can be operated via a DMX controller or it independently
performs its show program in succession.
To switchoff, disconnect the mains plug from the socket. For
a more convenient operation it is recommended to connect the
unit to a socket wich can be switched on and off via a light switch.

Auto Show

The fixture has a built in automatic program. To access this,
please see the below instructions:

• Press the button MENU several times until the
display shows P--, then press the button ENTER.

• Press the button UP/DOWN to switch between
programs P1-P4.

•Press the button MENU until S-- appears on the
display.

• Use the button UP/DOWN to select the auto
programs speed S001 - S100 (slow-fast).

• Press the button ENTER save the setting.

Sound mode

In music mode, via its integrated microphone, the unit can
be controlled by music with a clear rhythm in the bass range.
If the music control should not work optimally, increase the
volume or reduce the distance between the sound source
and the light effect unit.

• Press the button MENU so many times until the
display shows Snd.

• Using UP/DOWN button, select one of the
modes Snd1 or Snd2. Press ENTER

• You can set the microphone sensitivity pressing
the button MENU so many times until the display
show Sens

• Using the button UP/DOWN, select the desired
value sensitivity (slow-fast) u0 - u100.Press ENTER

Static Color

The fixture has the ability to accept custom static color set­tings. Access these chases via the control panel.

• Press the button MENU several times until the
display shows C.., then press ENTER.

• Using UP/DOWN button, select one of the pro-
grams C1 - C15. Press ENTER to confirm.

• Press the MENU button to go back or to meet the
waiting time to exit the setup menu.

Manual Color

This mode allows to combine the colors red, green, blue, amber.

• Press the button MENU several times until the

display shows U-- , then press the button ENTER.

• Select the color r, g, b, a through the buttons
UP/DOWN. Then ENTER.

• Using UP/DOWN button, select the desired
color value 000 - 255.

• Press ENTER button to continue to the next color.

• Continue until the desired mix is obtained.

• Press the MENU button to go back or to meet the
waiting time to exit the setup menu.

Dimmer

Enter in Dimmer mode to select specific dimming curve,
press the button MENU several times until shows dIM and
press ENTER to confirm.

• Press the button UP/DOWN to select OFF -

dIM1 - dIM2 - dIM3.

• Press ENTER button to store.

• Press the MENU button to go back or to meet the
waiting time to exit the setup menu.

Linking

Several Units may be interconnected in order to control all
further slave units to the same effect of the master unit. Use
standard DMX cables to daisy chain your units together via
the DMX connector on the rear of the units. For longer ca­ble runs, we suggest a terminator at the last fixture.

• Connect the DMX OUT of the master unit via 3
pole XLR cable to the DMX IN of the first slave unit.

• Connect the DMX OUT of the first slave unit to
the DMX IN of the second slave unit, etc. until all
units are connected in a chain.

DMX Configuration

Proton 6 QUAD USB is equipped with different DMX con-
figuration.

• Press MENU to select the desired DMX configu­ ration (4ch-9ch).

• Press the button UP/DOWN to select the desid­ er value (001 - 512), then press the button ENTER
to confirm.

• Press the MENU button to go back or to meet the
waiting time to exit the setup menu.

DMX Addressing

The PROTON 6 QUAD USB is equipped with 3-pole XLR
connections.
To be able to operate the PROTON 6 QUAD USB with a
light controller, adjust the DMX start address for the first
time to a DMX channel. If e.g. address 33 on the control­ler is provided for controlling the function of the first DMX
channel, adjust the start address 33 on the PROTON 6

QUAD USB.

The other functions of the light effect panel are then auto­matically assigned to the following addesses.

Connection of the dmx line

DMX connection employs standard XLR connectors. Use shield­ed pair-twisted cables with 120Ω impedance and low capacity.

The following diagram shows the connection mode:

ATTENTION

The screened parts of the cable (sleeve) must never be
connected to the system’s earth, as this would cause faulty
fixture and controller operation.
Overlong runs can be necessary to insert DMX level match­ing amplifier.
For those connections the use of balanced microphone ca­ble is not recommended because it cannot transmit control
DMX data reliably.

• Connect the controller DMX input to the DMX
output of the first unit.

• Connect the DMX output to the DMX input of
the following unit. Connect again the output to the
input of the following unit until all the units are
connected in chain.

• When the signal cable has to run longer distance
is recommended to insert a DMX termination on
the last unit.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE DMX TERMINATION

The termination avoids the risk of DMX 512 signals being
reflected back along the cable when they reaches the end
of the line: under certain conditions and with certain cable
lengths, this could cause them to cancel the original signals.
The termination is prepared by soldering a 120Ω 1/4 W re­sistor between pins 2 and 3 of the 3-pin male XLR connec­tor, as shown in figure.

To control the PROTON 6 QUAD USB with the infrared
remote control:

• Press the button MENU repeatedly until SET

• Using UP/DOWN button to select On or to ena-
ble or disable the infrared remote control. Press

ENTER to confirm.
NOTE - Make sure to point the controller directly at the re-

ceiver on the product.

Automatic Mode

Automatic Mode will enable you to run the automatic pro­grams on the product.

To turn on Automatic Mode:

1. Press AUTO on the controller.

2. Press + or - to choose between different auto programs.
To adjust the speed of the automatic program:

1. Press SPEED on the controller.

2. Press %.

3. Press + or – to either increase or decrease the
speed of the program.

7. INFRARED (IR6) REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

Sound Active Mode

Sound Active Mode will enable the product to respond to
the music. To turn on Sound Active mode:

1. Press SOUND on the controller.
To adjust sound sensitivity in Sound Active mode:

1. Press SENSITIVITY on the controller.

2. Press %.

3. Press + or – to either increase or decrease sound
sensitivity.

Manual Color Control

To choose a specific color with the controller:

1. Press MANUAL on the controller.

2. Press any number between 0-9 to choose your color.
To manually control the RGBA percentage:

1. Press MANUAL on the controller.

2. Press R, G, B, A to choose your color.

3. Press + or – to increase or decrease the percentage
of each color.

Miscellaneous Operation

To adjust the strobe rate of the program:

1. Press STROBE on the controller.

2. Press + or – to increase or decrease the strobe rate.

3. Press STROBE again to turn off the strobe.
To change the switching effect of the program:

• Press FADE/SNAP on the controller.

• FADE will slowly switch the effect. Snap will rapidly

switch the effect.
To black out the lights:

• Press BLACK OUT on the controller.

• This will turn off alll the lights until the button is

pressed again.

• NOTE - The controller will not respond to any inputs

when Black Out is activated. If the remote does not
respond when a button is pressed, try pressing
BLACK OUT. You may have inadvertently activated

BLACK OUT.

UFI OPERATION

To enable wireless DMX operation via the optional UFI
wi- transceiver:

1) Set the starting DMX address.

2) Set the UFI sending/receiving channel

3) Attach the UFI to the port.

4) Use Dipswitch 5 to select UFI send or receive mode.

MASTER/SLAVE OPERATION (via UFI
wi- transceiver)

PROTON 6 QUAD USB units can operate in Master/Slave
mode wirelessly using the optional UFI wi- transceiver. The
master UFI-enabled unit can be operated in stand-alone
mode, with the UFI set to transmit. The slave units should
all be set to slave mode, with the UFI set to receive.

Note: Slave units should be configured before configuring

master unit
Note: All units should be set to same DMX address, mode
and UFI channel

SLAVE UNITS:

• Press MENU button until 4-CH or 9-CH is dis

played. Press ENTER

• Set DMX address to d 1

• Set UFI to preferred receiving channel (1-16)

• Attach UFI to the PROTON 6 QUAD USB’S port.

MASTER UNIT:

• Press MENU button until DMX mode is displayed

8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEAN­ING THE UNIT

• Make sure the area below the installation place is

free from unwanted persons during setup.

• Switch off the unit, unplug the main cable and wait

until the unit had cooled down.

• All screws used for installing the device and any

of its parts should be tightly fastened and should
not be corroded.

• Housings, fixations and installation spots (ceilling,

trusses, suspensions) should be totally free from
any deformation.

• The main cables must be in impeccable condition

and should be replaced immediately even when a
small problem is detected.

• It is recommended to clean the front at regular

intervals, from impurities caused by dust, smoke
or other particles to ensure that the light is radi­ ated at maximum brightness. For cleaning, discon­ nect the main plug from the socket. Use a soft,
clean cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Then
carefully wipe the part dry. For cleaning other
housing parts use only a soft, clean cloth. Never
use a liquid, it might penetrate the unit and cause
damage to it.

FUSE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the safety cap by a screwdriver.

2. Replace the blown fuse with a fuse of the exact

same type and rating (T2A-250V).

3. Install the safety cap, and reconnect power.

2. INSTRUCCIONES

1. Este equipo cumple con las Directivas de la Comu­ ni dad Europea y, por lo tanto, cuenta con certificación CE.

2. El equipo funciona con un voltaje de entrada de
230V~. Para su instalación, póngase en contacto
con un profesional calificado. Para evitar el riesgo
de shock eléctrico, no introduzca modificaciones no
autorizadas en el equipo.

3. El equipo requiere de un sistema de suministro eléc­ trico con puesta a tierra (equipo clase I, norma IEC
60598-1). A su vez, se recomienda proteger los ca­ bles de alimentación de los contactos indirectos y
cortocircuitos mediante el uso de interruptores dif­ erenciales del tamaño adecuado.

4. La instalación eléctrica debe realizarla un electri­ cista certificado. Procure que el voltaje y la fre­ cuencia coincidan con los requeridos por la unidad.

5. La unidad está diseñada para uso profesional. No
es de uso residencial.

6. Procure no utilizar el equipo bajo las siguientes condiciones:

- En lugares proclives a vibraciones y sacudidas.

- En lugares con temperatura superior a 40°C.

7. Evite que líquidos inflamables, objetos de metal o
agua entren en contacto con el equipo.

8. No desarme o modifique el equipo.

9. El mantenimiento o reparación del equipo deben

ser realizados por personal calificado. Pónganse
en contacto con el servicio técnico autorizado
más cercano o directamente con su proveedor.

10. Con el fin de respetar el medio ambiente, procure

11. La garantía no cubre daños provocados por el

uso inapropiado del equipo. El uso inadecuado
del equipo puede ocasionar quemaduras, corto­ circuitos, shock eléctrico, etc.

12. Desconecte el equipo del suministro eléctrico an­ te s de realizar cualquier tarea de limpieza o mantenimiento.

13. Procure utilizar un cable de seguridad para afirmar
la instalación. Al utilizar la unidad, cumpla en todo

14. Instale el equipo en una zona con ventilación.

15. Mantenga cualquier tipo de material inflamable

lejos de la unidad.

16. Reemplace la cubierta, los lentes o la luz ultravio­ leta si se dañan y comprometen el óptimo funcion­ amiento del equipo.

17. Reemplace la lámpara de LED si se daña o sufre
deformación por el calor.

18. No mire de forma directa hacia la fuente de luz
cuando el equipo esté encendido. La luz puede
generar convulsiones en las personas fotosensiti­ vas o con epilepsia.

19. No toque el equipo durante su funcionamiento ya
que su temperatura puede ser muy elevada.

4. INTRODUCCIÓN

MONTAJE

PROTON 6 QUAD USB se puede instalar sobre una super­ficie plana y también de forma colgante. Para la instalación
es necesario contar con sujetadores de montaje. Verifique
que el punto de instalación cuente con la estabilidad nece­saria y que pueda tolerar 10 veces el peso del equipo.
Asegúrese de cumplir con todas las regulaciones locales
(especialmente aquellas referidas a la seguridad) al mo­mento de realizar el montaje.

• Instale el proyector en un lugar apropiado medi
ante la abrazadera de montaje (1).

• Siempre utilice un cable de seguridad para afirmar
la parte inferior de la unidad al punto de sujeción y
evitar que el equipo sufra una caída de más de 20 cm.

5. FUNCIONES Y AJUSTES

INSTRUCCIONES

Una vez conectado el cable de alimentación incluido (100­240 VAC, 50/60 Hz), el equipo estará listo para operar. El
usuario podrá utilizarlo mediante un controlador DMX o
bien podrá ejecutar los programas de forma independi­ente. Para apagar el equipo, desconéctelo del suministro
eléctrico. Se recomienda conectar el equipo a una red con
interruptor para agilizar el proceso de encendido y apagado.

PROGRAMAS AUTOMÁTICOS

Utilice uno de los cuatros programas incorporados.

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar P--.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

programa (P 1-4).

• Para seleccionar la velocidad del programa, pre­ sione la tecla MENU nuevamente hasta visualizar S--.

COLOR ESTÁTICO

Regule de forma personalizada los colores estáticos.

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar C--.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar
uno de los programas (C1-15).

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Presione la tecla MENU para volver al menú ante­ rior o para salir.

MODO AUDIORÍTMICO

Con el modo audiorítmico (mediante el micrófono incorp­orado), la unidad opera de acuerdo al ritmo de la música.
En caso de notar un funcionamiento irregular, procure in­crementar el volumen de la música o disminuir la distancia
entre el proyector y la salida de audio.

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar Snd.

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar en­ tre Snd1 y Snd2.

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Para configurar la sensibilidad del micrófono, pre­ sione la tecla MENU nuevamente hasta visualizar Sens.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar el
valor deseado (u0-100).

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

COLOR MANUAL

Genere combinaciones de los colores rojo, verde, azul y
ámbar (r, g, b, a).

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar U--.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar r, g,
b, a.

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar el
valor del color deseado (000-255).

• Oprima ENTER para continuar con el siguiente color.

• Continúe con estos pasos hasta obtener la mezcla
de colores deseada.

• Presione la tecla MENU para volver al menú ante­ rior o para salir.

DIMMER

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar dIM.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar en­ tre OFF, dIM1, dIM2, dIM3.

• Confirme y almacene la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Presione la tecla MENU para volver al menú ante­ rior o para salir.

ENLACE DE EQUIPOS

PROTON 6 QUAD USB le permite interconectar varios
equipos entre sí para poder controlar todos los equipos
esclavos con los mismos parámetros que el equipo maes­tro. Utilice cables DMX estándar para enlazar equipos a
través del conector DMX ubicado en la parte trasera de las
unidades. Para cableados extensos, se recomienda la insta­lación de un terminador en la última unidad.

1. Conecte un extremo de un cable XLR-3 a la salida DMX
del equipo maestro y el otro extremo a la entrada DMX del
primer equipo esclavo.

2. Conecte la salida DMX del primer equipo esclavo a la en­trada DMX del segundo equipo esclavo. Reitere este paso
hasta tener todas las unidades enlazadas.

CONFIGURACIÓN DMX

PROTON 6 QUAD USB cuenta con diversas opciones para
la configuración DMX.

• Presione la tecla MENU para activar la configura­ ción DMX deseada (4CH-9CH).

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar el
valor deseado (001-512).

• Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

• Presione la tecla MENU para volver al menú ante­ rior o para salir.

DIRECCIÓN DMX

Para utilizar PROTON 6 QUAD USB con un controlador,
primero debe configurar la dirección DMX de inicio para
el primer canal DMX. Por ejemplo, si la dirección 33 del
controlador se emplea para manejar el funcionamiento del
primer canal DMX, configure la dirección de inicio 33 en
el PROTON 6 QUAD USB. El resto de las funciones de los
efectos de iluminación se asignarán automáticamente a las
direcciones subsiguientes.

A continuación, un cuadro que ilustra el ejemplo de la di­rección de inicio 33.

CONEXIÓN DMX

La conexión DMX requiere conectores XLR estándar. Uti­lice cables tipo par trenzado apantallados con impedancia
de 120Ω y baja capacidad. El siguiente diagrama ilustra el
modo de conexión:

OBSERVACIÓN

La malla protectora del cable no debe estar en contacto
con la instalación a tierra, ya que puede generar desperfec­tos en la unidad y su funcionamiento.
No se recomienda el uso de un cable de micrófono equilib­rado, ya que no transmite datos de control DMX de manera
fiable.

• Conecte la entrada DMX del controlador a la sali
da DMX de la primera unidad.

• Conecte la salida DMX a la entrada DMX de la
siguiente unidad. Reitere este paso hasta conectar
todas las unidades deseadas.

• Cuando el cable DMX debe recorrer largas dis­ tancias se recomienda el uso de un terminador en
la última unidad de la cadena.

TERMINADOR DMX

El uso de un terminador ayudará a prevenir la posible pér­dida de señal DMX 512 sobre el final de una cadena de
equipos. Bajo ciertas circunstancias y con determinadas
extensiones de cables, esto podría causar que se inhabilite
la señal original.
El terminador es básicamente un conector XLR con una
resistencia de 120 Ω ¼ W entre los pines 2 y 3 (del conector
macho), que luego se conecta en la salida XLR del último
equipo de la cadena.

El control remoto IR6 (opcional) permite manejar a distan­cia el PROTON 6 QUAD USB. Para enlazar el control remo-
to con el equipo, siga los pasos detallados a continuación:

1. Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar SET.

2. Opima ENTER para acceder.

3. Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para pasar de ON
(encendido) a OFF (apagado) o viceversa.

4. Confirme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

Observación: Procure apuntar el control directamente ha­cia el receptor del producto.

MODO AUTOMÁTICO

Este modo le permitirá al usuario ejecutar los programas
automáticos del equipo. Para activarlos siga los pasos a
continuación:

• Presione la tecla AUTO en el control remoto.

• Utilice las teclas +/- para seleccionar uno de los programas.

• Para regular la velocidad de los programas, presione
la tecla SPEED en el control remoto.

• Presione la tecla %.

• Utilice las teclas +/- para incrementar o disminuir la
velocidad del programa.

CONTROL REMOTO INFRARROJO (IR6)

MODO AUDIORÍTMICO

Este modo hará que el equipo responda al ritmo de
la música.

• Presione la tecla SOUND en el control remoto.

• Para regular la sensibilidad del sonido, presione la
tecla SENSITIVITY en el control remoto.

• Presione la tecla %.

• Utilice las teclas +/- para incrementar o disminuir la
sensibilidad.

CONTROL DE COLOR MANUAL

Con esta opción podrá seleccionar un color en particular.

• Presione la tecla MANUAL en el control remoto.

• Presione un número entre 0-9 para seleccionar el
color deseado.

• Para regular de forma manual el porcentaje de RG
BA presione la tecla MANUAL en el control remoto.

• Presione R, G, B, A para seleccionar un color.

• Utilice las teclas +/- para incrementar o disminuir el
porcentaje de cada color.

OTRAS FUNCIONES

Regule la velocidad de estrobo en un programa.

• Presione la tecla STROBE en el control remoto.

• Utilice las teclas +/- para incrementar o disminuir la
velocidad de estrobo.

• Presione nuevamente la tecla STROBE para apagar
el estrobo.

• Para modificar el efecto de transición del programa,
presione la tecla FADE/SNAP en el control remoto.
La opción FADE hará que la transición entre efectos
sea lenta y fluida, mientras que la opción SNAP hará
que el cambio sea rápido y repentino.

• Para apagar las salidas de luz, presione la tecla
BLACK OUT en el control remoto.
Esta opción apagará las luces hasta que vuelva a
presionar la tecla BLACK OUT.

Observación: El control remoto no responderá a ningún co­mando cuando esté activado el modo black out. Si el con­trol remoto no responde, oprima la tecla BLACK OUT para
descartar que se haya activado por error dicho modo.

Modo USB inalámbrico

Para habilitar el control DMX inalámbrico a través del NEO
STICK USB, siga los siguientes pasos:

1. Configure la dirección DMX de inicio en el PRO­ TON 6 QUAD USB.

2. Configure el canal de transmisión/recepción del
NEO STICK USB.

3. Coloque el transceptor en el puerto USB del
PROTON 6 QUAD USB.

4. Seleccione el modo enviar o recibir del transcep­ tor con el interruptor DIP 5.

Modo maestro/esclavo (con NEO STICK USB)

Con el PROTON 6 QUAD USB podrá utilizar el modo
maestro/esclavo de forma inalámbrica con el transceptor
NEO STICK USB (opcional). El equipo maestro habilitado

para wifi podrá controlarse en modo stand-alone con el
transceptor wifi configurado como transmisor. El resto de
los equipos deben configurarse en modo esclavo, con el

transceptor wifi configurado como receptor.

Observaciones:

- Configure primero los equipos esclavos y luego continúe
con el equipo maestro.

- Configure la misma dirección DMX, modo y canal NEO
STICK USB para todos los equipos.

Equipos esclavos

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar 4-CH o 9-CH.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

• Configure la dirección DMX a d 1.

• Configure el NEO STICK USB al canal receptor

de su preferencia (1-16).

• Conecte el NEO STICK USB al puerto USB del

PROTON 6 QUAD USB.

Equipo maestro

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar el modo DMX

que coincide con la configuración del equipo esclavo.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

• Configure la dirección DMX a d 1.

• Seleccione el modo automático o audiorítmico.

• Configure el NEO STICK USB al canal transmisor

deseado (1-16).

• Conecte el NEO STICK USB al puerto USB del

PROTON 6 QUAD USB.

Modo de funcionamiento: rango de prioridad

Los modos de control de mayor prioridad inhabilitan los
modos de menor prioridad.

1. Transceptor NEO STICK USB.

2. DMX (con cable).

3. Infrarrojo (control remoto IR6).

4. Manual (menú del equipo).

8. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

• Asegúrese de que no haya personas ajenas a la in-

stalación al momento de fijar el equipo.

• Apague el quipo, desconéctelo de la corriente

eléctrica y aguarde a que se enfríe antes de re­ alizar cualquier tarea de mantenimiento.

• Ajuste bien todos los tornillos que se utilicen para

la instalación del equipo y procure que no mues­ tren signos de corrosión.

• La cubierta, las herramientas de fijación y los pun-

tos de instalación (cielos rasos, suspensiones y sis
temas de truss) deben estar libres de deformaciones.

• Conserve los cables principales en buenas condi-

ciones. Reemplácelos de forma inmediata si detec­ ta algún problema.

• Para garantizar el óptimo desempeño del equi-

po, es indispensable limpiar el frente con frecuen­ cia para remover impurezas causadas por el exce­ so humo, polvo u otras partículas. Antes de limpi­ arlo, desconecte el equipo de la corriente eléctri­ ca. Utilice un paño suave humedecido con un de
tergente suave. Luego seque el frente con cuidado.
Para otras partes del equipo solo emplee un paño
suave y limpio. No utilice ninguna clase de líquidos
ya que podrían filtrarse en el equipo y causar
daños severos.

SUSTITUCIÓN DEL FUSIBLE

1. Extraiga la tapa de seguridad con un destornillador.

2. Sustituya el fusible quemado por uno nuevo del

mismo tipo (T2A-250V).

3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de seguridad y conecte el equipo
