1. OVERVIEW

NEO Flex Truss is a rechargeable LED par powered by 3 x 3-in-1 RGB 3W LEDs and a 16º beam angle. Its next-generation battery enables up to 6 hours of continuous use with all colors in maximum intensity. The unit is equipped with tricolor LED technology, enabling a smooth RGB mix with no multicolor shadows. NEO Flex Truss comes in a triangular design, which makes it ideal to place among the most popular industry trusses. In addition to DMX, the ﬁxture includes a IRC Remote to easily manage your washers without cables.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. The products referred to in this manual conform to the European Community Directives and are there- fore marked with .

2. The unit is supplied with hazardous network voltage (230V~). Leave servicing to skilled per sonnel only. Never make any modiﬁcations on the unit not described in this instruction manual, otherwise you will risk an electric shock.

3. Connection must be made to a power supply sys tem ﬁtted with eﬃcient earthing (class I appliance according to standard EN 60598-1). It is, moreo ver, recommended to protect the supply lines of the units from indirect contact and/or shorting to earth by using appropriately sized residual current devices.

4. The connection to the main network of electric distribution must be carried out by a qualiﬁed electrical installer. Check that the main frequency and voltage correspond to those for which the unit is designed as given on the electrical data label.

5. This unit is not for home use, only professional applications.

6. Never use the ﬁxture under the following conditions:

- in places subject to vibrations or bumps;

- in places with a temperature of over 45 °C.

7. Make certain that no inﬂammable liquids, water or metal objects enter the ﬁxture.

8. Do not dismantle or modify the ﬁxture.

9. All work must always be carried out by a qualiﬁed

technical personnel. Contact the nearest sales p oint for an inspection or contact the manufacturer directly.

10. If the unit is to be put out of operation deﬁnitvely, take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which is not harmful to the environment.

WARNING AND INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

• If this device will be operated in any way diﬀerent

to the one described in this manual, it may suﬀer damage and the guarantee becomes void. Further more, any other operation may lead to dangers like short circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

• Before starting any maintenance work or cleaning

the projector, cut oﬀ power from the main supply.

• Always additionally secure the projector with the

safety rope. When carrying out any work, always comply scrupulously with all the regulations (par ticularly regarding safety) currently in force in the country in which the ﬁxture’s being used.

• Install the ﬁxture in a well ventilated place.

• Keep any inﬂammable material at a safe distance

from the ﬁxture.

• Shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens shall be

changed if they have become damaged to such an extent that their eﬀectiveness is impaired.

• The lamp(LED) shall be changed if it has become

damaged or thermally deformed.

• Never look directly at the light beam. Please note

that fast changes in lighting, e.g. ﬂashing light, may trigger epileptic seizures in photosensitive per sons or persons with epilepsy.

• Do not touch the product’s housing when operat-

ing because it may be very hot.

The IR6 infrared controller enables remote control of the NEO FLEX TRUSS. To pair the IR6 to the NEO FLEX TRUSS, follow these steps:

1. Press MENU button until SEr is displayed

6. MASTER/SLAVE OPERATION (via DMX cable)

When multiple NEOFLEX TRUSS units are used together, Master/Slave mode enables the assignment of one master

unit and multiple slave units. The master unit can be operated in stand-alone mode or by IR6 infrared remote control. The slave units should all be set to slave mode as described below.

- Note: Slave units should be conﬁgured and connected before linking to master unit.

SETUP AS BELOW:

Slave units:

1. Press MENU button until 3-CH or 8-CH is displayed

2. Press ENTER

4. Connect DMX cable from master unit to DMX In connector Link following slave units in similar cable conﬁguration.

Master unit:

1. Set to Auto or control with IR6 infrared remote.

2. Link to slave units, beginning from the master DMX Out connector.

7. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING THE UNIT

• Make sure the area below the installation place is

free from unwanted persons during setup.

• Switch oﬀ the unit, unplug the main cable and wait

until the unit had cooled down.

• All screws used for installing the device and any

of its parts should be tightly fastened and should not be corroded.

• Housings, ﬁxations and installation spots (ceilling,

trusses, suspensions) should be totally free from any deformation.

• The main cables must be in impeccable condition

and should be replaced immediately even when a small problem is detected.

• It is recommended to clean the front at regular

intervals, from impurities caused by dust, smoke or other particles to ensure that the light is radi ated at maximum brightness. For cleaning, discon nect the main plug from the socket. Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Then carefully wipe the part dry. For cleaning other housing parts use only a soft, clean cloth. Never use a liquid, it might penetrate the unit and cause damage to it.

FUSE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the safety cap by a screwdriver.

2. Replace the blown fuse with a fuse of the exact

same type and rating (T2A-250V).

3. Install the safety cap, and reconnect power.

NEO Flex Truss es una par de LED triangular recargable que tiene 3 LEDs 3-en-1 RGB de 3W con un ángulo de haz de 16º. 2. INSTRUCCIONES

1. Este equipo cumple con las Directivas de la Comu n id ad Europea y, por lo tanto, cuenta con certificación CE.

2. El equipo funciona con un voltaje de entrada de 230V~. Para su instalación, póngase en contacto con un profesional caliﬁcado. Para evitar el riesgo de shock eléctrico, no introduzca modiﬁcaciones no autorizadas en el equipo.

3. El equipo requiere de un sistema de suministro eléc trico con puesta a tierra (equipo clase I, norma IEC 60598-1). A su vez, se recomienda proteger los ca bles de alimentación de los contactos indirectos y cortocircuitos mediante el uso de interruptores dif erenciales del tamaño adecuado.

4. La instalación eléctrica debe realizarla un electri cista certiﬁcado. Procure que el voltaje y la fre cuencia coincidan con los requeridos por la unidad.

5. La unidad está diseñada para uso profesional. No es de uso residencial.

6. Procure no utilizar el equipo bajo las siguientes condiciones:

- En lugares proclives a vibraciones y sacudidas.

- En lugares con temperatura superior a 40°C.

7. Evite que líquidos inﬂamables, objetos de metal o agua entren en contacto con el equipo.

8. No desarme o modiﬁque el equipo.

9. El mantenimiento o reparación del equipo deben

ser realizados por personal caliﬁcado. Pónganse en contacto con el servicio técnico autorizado más cercano o directamente con su proveedor.

10. Con el ﬁn de respetar el medio ambiente, procure

d esechar la unidad en la planta de reciclado más cercana.

11. La garantía no cubre daños provocados por el uso inapropiado del equipo. El uso inadecuado del equipo puede ocasionar quemaduras, corto circuitos, shock eléctrico, etc.

12. Desconecte el equipo del suministro eléctrico an tes de realizar cualquier tarea.

13. Siempre asegure adicionalmente el proyector con la cuerda de seguridad. Al realizar cualquier traba jo, cumpla siempre escrupulosamente con todas las normas (particularmente en materia de seguri dad) vigentes en el país en que se utilice el aparato.

14. Instale el equipo en una zona con ventilación.

15. Mantenga cualquier tipo de material inﬂamable

lejos de la unidad.

16. Reemplace la cubierta, los lentes o la luz ultravio leta si se dañan y comprometen el óptimo funcion amiento del equipo.

17. Reemplace la lámpara de LED si se daña o sufre deformación por el calor.

18. No mire de forma directa hacia la fuente de luz cuando el equipo esté encendido. La luz puede generar convulsiones en las personas fotosensiti vas o con epilepsia.

19. No toque el equipo durante su funcionamiento ya que su temperatura puede ser muy elevada.

3. Conﬁrme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

4. Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para seleccionar el

valor del color deseado (000-255).

5. Oprima ENTER para continuar con el siguiente color.

6. Continúe con estos pasos hasta obtener la mezcla

de colores deseada.

El control remoto IR6 (opcional) permite manejar a distancia el NEOFLEX TRUSS. Para enlazar el control remoto con el equipo, siga los pasos detallados a continuación:

1. Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar Ser.

2. Opima ENTER para acceder.

3. Utilice las teclas UP o DOWN para pasar de ON a OFF o viceversa.

4. Conﬁrme la selección con la tecla ENTER.

Funciones de las teclas

• AUTO: Ejecuta programas automáticos

• FADE : Fade de programas automático

• SPEED: Habilita el ajuste de velocidad

• +/ -: Aumenta/disminuye la velocidad

• SOUND : Activa el modo audiorítmico

• SENSITIVITY: Habilita el ajuste de la sensibilidad de sonido

• +/ -: Aumenta/disminuye la sensibilidad de sonido

• MANUAL : Habilita la selección manual de los colores

• 0-9: Para elegir colores estáticos

• R: Selecciona Rojo

• G: Selecciona Verde

• B: Selecciona Azul

• +/ -: Aumenta/disminuye el nivel de salida de cada calor

• % : Ajusta el nivel de salida total

• +/ -: Aumenta/disminuye los valores.

• STROBE: Habilita el ajuste de velocidad de estrobo

• +/ - : Aumenta/disminuye la velocidad

• STROBE: Oprima nuevamente para apagar el estrobo

• BLACKOUT: Apaga todas las salidas

• BLACKOUT: Oprima nuevamente para salir.

• Observación: Si el control remoto IR6 no responde,

oprima la tecla BLACKOUT para descartar que se haya activado por error el modo blackout.

Modo maestro/esclavo (con cable DMX)

Con este modo podrá enlazar unidades entre sí sin la necesidad de utilizar un controlador. Sólo debe establecer una unidad como equipo maestro y el resto, como esclavos. El equipo maestro podrá operarse en modo stand-alone o con el control remoto IR6. Por otro lado, los equipos esclavos deben estar conﬁgurados en modo esclavo.

Observaciones:

- Conﬁgure y conecte los equipos esclavos en primera instancia y luego continúe con el equipo maestro.

-Utilice cables DMX estándar para enlazar equipos a través del conector DMX ubicado en la parte trasera de las unidades. Para cableados extensos, se recomienda la instalación de un terminador en la última unidad.

- Conﬁgure los equipos esclavos con la misma dirección DMX.

Equipos esclavos

• Presione la tecla MENU hasta visualizar 3CH o 8CH.

• Oprima ENTER para acceder.

• Conﬁgure la dirección DMX a d 1.

• Conecte un extremo del cable DMX a la salida

del equipo maestro y el otro extremo a la entrada DMX del primer equipo esclavo.

• Reitere este paso hasta tener todas las unidades enlazadas.

Equipo maestro

• Utilice el control remoto IR6 para conﬁgurar el

modo stand alone en el equipo maestro.

• Enlace con los equipos esclavos. Comience por la

salida DMX del equipo maestro.

Batería

• Batería recargable de litio.

• Tiempo máximo de funcionamiento: hasta 20 horas.

• Tiempo de carga: 5 horas aproximadamente.

• Indicador rojo: La batería se está cargando.

• Indicador verde: Batería completamente cargada.

Observaciones:

• Apague el NEO FLEX TRUSS al momento de car gar la batería.

• Antes de utilizar el equipo por primera vez, pro cure cargar la batería durante 24h.

8. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

• Asegúrese de que no haya personas ajenas a la in-

stalación al momento de ﬁjar el equipo.

• Apague el quipo, desconéctelo de la corriente

eléctrica y aguarde a que se enfríe antes de re alizar cualquier tarea de mantenimiento.

• Ajuste bien todos los tornillos que se utilicen para

la instalación del equipo y procure que no mues tren signos de corrosión.

• La cubierta, las herramientas de ﬁjación y los pun-

tos de instalación (cielos rasos, suspensiones y sis temas de truss) deben estar libres de deformaciones.

• Conserve los cables principales en buenas condi-

ciones. Reemplácelos de forma inmediata si detec ta algún problema.

• Para garantizar el óptimo desempeño del equi-

po, es indispensable limpiar el frente con frecuen cia para remover impurezas causadas por el exce so humo, polvo u otras partículas. Antes de limpi arlo, desconecte el equipo de la corriente eléctri ca. Utilice un paño suave humedecido con un de tergente suave. Luego seque el frente con cuidado. Para otras partes del equipo solo emplee un paño suave y limpio. No utilice ninguna clase de líquidos ya que podrían ﬁltrarse en el equipo y causar daños severos.

SUSTITUCIÓN DEL FUSIBLE

1. Extraiga la tapa de seguridad con un destornillador.

2. Sustituya el fusible quemado por uno nuevo del

mismo tipo (T2A-250V).

3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de seguridad.

En caso de que los problemas persistan o de que se presente un problema no listado, póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico autorizado más cercano.

- Rebote de señal

- Falta de suministro eléctrico

- Cable suelto o defectuoso

- Suministro eléctrico defectuoso

- Lentes sucios

- Lentes mal alineados

- Modiﬁque la dirección DMX en el panel de control.

- Sustituya el cable DMX.

- Instale un terminador.

- Asegúrese de la presencia de corriente en las tomas.

- Veriﬁque el estado del cable.

- Veriﬁque la instalación eléctrica.

- Limpie los lentes del equipo

- Reinstale los lentes
