NEC Express5800/120Rg-2 features up to two Intel®
Xeon™ Processors 3.40GHz/3.20GHz/3GHz with 800MHz
system bus and 1MB 2nd cache. It supports Intel® Extended
Memory 64 Technology (Intel® EM64T), the industry’s latest
enhancement that allows Intel’s IA-32 processors to run 64bit code and to access large memory amounts.

NEC Express5800/120Rg-2 delivers up to 12GB DDR333
SDRAM memory (6 DIMM sockets) with ECC and Chipkill
capabilities.
In addition, NEC Express5800/120Rg-2 supports Ultra 320
SCSI hard disk drives, enabling on-board RAID 0/1, without
a separate disk array controller, and optional RAID 5.
This prevents loss of important data and allows higher
system availability in the event of a disk failure, while
reducing the cost for the extra device.
For optimal I/O expandability, NEC Express5800/120Rg-2
offers a total of 6 PCI slots: 3x 64bit/100MHz PCI-X
(FullHeight) and 3x 64bit/66MHz PCI-X (LowProfile). With
new optional riser cards, the slot availability* can be changed
to 3x 64bit/133MHz PCI-X (FullHeight) and 3x 64bit/66MHz
PCI-X (LowProfile) or 3x 64bit/33MHz 5V-PCI (FullHeight)
and 3x 64bit/66MHz PCI-X (LowProfile), enabling a transfer
speed scalable up to 1066MB/s.
To ensure continuous system operation, optionally hot-swap
redundant power supply and fans are supported.

NEC ESMPRO makes your server management easy. With a
user-friendly graphical interface, a system administrator can
monitor and control system operation from a remote console,
and troubleshoot with advanced problem management
functions.
NEC EXPRESSBUILDER makes your system installation
simple. Just by inserting a single CD-ROM and following a
series of user-friendly customization menus, a system
administrator can set up and configure the system with ease.
