Xeon® processors that enable data-intensive processing, the 120Li delivers improved application performance within the same physical space.

Delivering up to 48GB (4GB x12) of memory capacity, the 120Li employs DDR2-667 Fully-Buffered DIMM memory with ECC, Chipkill™, mirroring, and on-line sparing capabilities.

To provide high-performance internal storage, the 120Li supports

Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), with a maximum capaci

2.4TB (300GB x8) using an additional HDD cage. The 120Li

supports RAID 0 and RAID 1 as standard, and RAID 5 as an option.

Along with two PCI-X/PCI expansion slots (one 64bit/100MHz PCI-X and one 32bit/33MHz PCI), the 120Li comes standard with three PCI EXPRESS™ x8 slots.

To ensure continuous system operation, 120Li provides

redundant cooling fans and hot-swap redundant power supplies as options.

To enhance RAS (Reliability, Availability and Serviceability) functionality, the 120Li comes standard with the EXPRESSSCOPE Engine technology. This feature allows the user to monitor the status of a managed server and operate its KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) devices from a remote console via LAN.

The 120Li employs a water-cooling unit to reduce operating noise from internal fans. Silent operation makes it possible to install the system in a variety of locations.

Bundled for easy system management, NEC ESMPRO monitors and controls system operation from the remote console, and assists the administrator in troubleshooting the system. For simple system installation, NEC EXPRESSBUILDER is attached as an installation support tool.
