UPDATING MAPPING SOFTWARE IN NNG NAVIGATION UNITS

- BEFORE beginning this process - the NNG kit MUST see the satellite at least ONE time in the installed vehicle
(it must register itself).

Remove the SD card out of the GPS module, bring it to a WINDOWS (only) PC. PC must have internet
connection. Do not insert the SD into the PC yet.

1. Open a web browser, go to www.naviextras.com.

2. Register as a new user, it will require activating a link from the typed-in email.

3. Log in to the naviextras website with newly generated user and pass.

4. Download and install the 'Naviextras Toolbox' program (bottom right on the main page, orange font,

click on 'DOWNLOAD PC TOOL').

The device name for our NNG hardware is 'CYBCAR AMERICA GPS M3'

5. Open Naviextras Toolbox and insert the SD card into the PC (MAY REQUIRE ADAPTER).

6. The toolbox should load the correct SD info (CYBCAR AMERICA GPS M3)... if it asks, select this

hardware type.

7. If not prompted, go to 'Backup', run this process until finished. (MUST DO THIS)

8. Go to 'Updates' and the free update should be ready to flash:

- Latest Map Guarantee

9. Click 'Install' and let it flash the connected SD card completely. Be aware that this whole process takes

about 1 hour due to downloading/updating the maps on the card.

Re-insert the SD card into the GPS module and verify maps are now 2015.

NNG MAPPING SOFTWARE

From the main menu of the NAV:

1. Go to 'More...'

2. Select 'Help'

3. Select 'About'

4. Select 'More'

5. Select 'Licenses'

From here you should see 'Mega Latest Map Guarantee NA (TA+NQ) 2015 Q1' at the top.
