The BMW-EVO kit interfaces 2 video inputs (Backup camera & one extra composite video
input, that can be used for front view camera or any other composite video source) to the
factory media screen in select 2017 BMWs with the NEW GUI (NON-TOUCH SCREEN). This
interface generates steering-based guidelines while in reverse for added convenience. With an
additional adapter, this unit is capable of interfacing an HDMI input to the OEM screen as well
(KIT800 required).
NOTE: Although not absolutely essential, the LVDS Extension cables (NTV-CAB122 for
7 series or NTV-CAB121 for all other BMWs) are extremely useful and recommended to
simplify the installtion.
NOTE: the touch-screen models with this OEM system are not compatible.
