Installation of Navitar/NuView Series 639 lens on Panasonic model PTL750U, L780U & L785U projectors.
TOOLS REQUIRED: None
Disassembly:
1. Disconnect unit from power source.
2. Remove the prime lens per the manufacturers instructions.
Assembly:
1. Ensure that your Navitar/NuView lens and its adapter are separate
2. Observation of the back of the NuView adapter will reveal three ‘keys’ that must be
aligned for proper assembly into the projector. Two of the keys are larger with sloping
slides while the third is slightly smaller with square sides.
3. Insert the NuView adapter into projector, ensuring that the smallest of the three ‘keys’
is aligned with the corresponding opening on the projector. Ensure the adapter fits
squarely into the projector and twist the adapter clockwise. The adapter should lock
in place. Carefully twist the lens into the adapter.
4. To focus, gently twist the front of lens. To zoom, loosen thumbscrew and twist
knurled ring (zoom lenses only, of course). Re-tighten thumbscrew.
CAUTION: Do not twist entire lens out of adapter!
