INSTALLATION OF SADDLE BAG TO FRAME

est the stainless steel clips attached to the out­side of the bag to the lower section of the frame. Engage the quarter turn fastener to the frame. Push in and turn clockwise one quarter turn. There will be a slight spring pressure against the fastener, turn until it stops. Grap the side of the bag, wiggle it. The bag should be firmly set. If fastener is loose, repeat installation of bag to frame.
Saddlebag Care: Washwith a mild soap or deter­gent and warm water. Use a soft cloth. To remove tar use naphtha or turpentine.
Painting: Lightly sand the surface with 600 grit sandpaper and spray lacquer, urathane or other paint.
Replacement Parts: Contact National Cycle, Inc.
Not to exceed 11lbs (5kg) weight per bag. Do not exceed 80 mph (129 kph) when saddlebags are mounted.
On some motorcycles, additional accessories can reduce a motorcycle’s stability and safe operationg speed. Never ride a motrocycle that exhibiits any unsafe handling characteristics. Remove all acces­sories and cargo at once. Have your dealer diag­nose and solve the problem before remounting your accessories.
Rest clip on lower section of frame
Turn clockwise one quarter turn.
Remove the two forward screws from one Fender Strut (Wrench,10mm).
Leave Backrest Side Support in place (if Backrest is to be installed).
Hold appropriate Saddlebag Frame (1) in place at Fender Strut
Thread M8 x 55 Screw (2) through front bushing, Fender Strut, and into Fender. Place washer be-
tween Fender Strut and front Frame Bracket bushing if Backrest is used.
Thread M8 x 55 Screw through rear bushing, Backrest Support (if used), Fender Strut, then into Fender.
Tighten the Saddlebag Frame Mount screws to 22 ft/lbs (3.0m-kg) (Hex Key, 6mm)
Repeat on other side.

Wrench, 10mm Hex Key Wrench, 6mm
