Safety precautions
This refrigerator requires a 220V/50Hz
supply
Failure in operation and damage to the control
panel, thermostat or the compressor will occur if
voltage is outside the range 187-242V, unless a
regulator with a capacity of 750W or higher is
installed.
Care for the external cable
* Hold the plug, not the electric cable, when
unplugging the refrigerator.
* Ensure that the electric cable is not trapped b y
the refrigerator . Do not step on the cabl e.
Avoid damage to the electric cable when moving
the refrigerator
Inflammable gas leakage in the vicinity of the
refrigerator
* Turn off any leaking valve;
* Open the doors and windows;
* Do not, under any circumstance, unplug
electrical appliances in the vicinity of the leak.
A separate earthed socket is required.
The refrigerator is supplied with a standard three-pin
plug, of which the one for grounding should never be
removed. The plug of the installed refrigerator must
always be accessible.
Damaged electric cable
When the electric cable is damaged or worn, turn off
the refrigerator and consult an authorized service
agent for replacement.
Unplug the refrigerator in the following cases:
* Cleaning or maintenance
* Lamp replacement
Never store inflammable, explosive or corrosive
materials in the refrigerator.
This refrigerator should be used for food storage. It is
not recommended for microbiological or chemical
materials, which have special temperature
requirements.
Do not install the refrigerator near gasoline or othe
r
inflammable articles.
Do not swing on or apply excessive pressure to the
refrigerator door.
Do not place electrical plugs, regulators or
microwaves on top of the refrigerator. Do not use
electric appliances (except those allowed by the
manufacturer) inside the refrigerator.
Do not place heavy or unstable articles or water
containers on top of the refrigerator.
Safety precautions
A
void prolonged contact with the food in the freezer
compartment when the refrigerator is operational,
especially with wet hands. Hands may freeze onto
the surface of the frozen food.
Do not spray or splash the refrigerator when cleaning
same, nor place the refrigerator in a damp area.

the c oo l i n g s y s t e m must be authorized.
Never store bottled beer or beverages in the freezer
compartment.
Unplug the refrigerator in the event of a power
interruption or during cleaning. Allow at least a 5
minute lapse before restarting the refrigerator.
Remove the refrigerator door and door gask et if the
refrigerator is discarded, to prevent it becoming
accidentally trapped in the refrigerator.
Safety precautions
Location
The refrigerator should be placed on a flat and solid surface. If the refrigerator is to be leveled, a flat,
strong and fire-resistant material must be used. The foot of the refrigerator can be adjusted clockwise or
anti-clockwise using a 22 mm spanner to lift or lower the refrigerator if it is placed on an uneven surface.
The refrigerator must be placed away from heat
sources or direct sunlight.
The refrigerator must be placed in a we ll -venti lated area,
and a space of 10 c m or more should be allowed
for around the refrigerator.
Never place the refrigerator near a water source. Clea n
and dry any water splashes and stains with a soft cloth.
Never place the refrigerator in an area with an ambient
temperature below zero. Never operate the refr igerat o
r
outdoor or in the rain.
Preparation
1. Unpacking
Remove all packing materials.
2. Check attached accessories and materials.
Check if all accessories specified in the Packing List are
available. Contact the local distributor if any accessories are
missing.
3. Ensure that the refrigerator is properly located. (See
section "Location")
4. Clean the refrigerator before use.
(See section "Cleaning")
5. Time lapse before power supply
Connect the refrigerator to the power supply al least 30
minutes after the refrigerator is sited and cleaned.
Caution: Afte r unpa cki n g, writ e down t he mo del an d man ufac tur e numb er of the
refrigerator on the Warranty Certificate, which will be required if technical services
are applied for.

Connection to the power supply
Temperature setting and adjusting
* Adjusting freezing temperature
The temperature in the freezer compartment can be adjusted by setting the thermostat to the
following positions on the dial: Position Min for higher temperature value and position Max for
lower temperature value in the compartment. The thermostat can be set to the desired
temperature degrees as indicated in the table below.
* Adjusting refrigerating temperature
The temperature in the refrigerator compartment can be adjusted by setting the thermostat to
the following positions on the dial: Position Min for higher and position Max for lower
temperature values in the compartment (See table 1). The ambient temperature of the
refrigerator should not be below 0° C.
Loading the refrigerator with food
Load the refrigerator with food when the set
temperature of the refrigerator compartments has
been reached.
Caution: Some time will be required for the refrigerator to reach the set level when
the temperature is adjusted. The length of this per iod depends o n the differe nce in
the existing and set tem perat ures, the ambie nt temp erat ure, th e frequen cy with w hich
the door is opened and closed, and the amount of food in storage.
Refrigerating storage compartment
The refrigerator is for short-term food
storage or for daily consumption.
Although the temperature in most areas in the refrigeration
compartment can be regulated between 0° C and 10° C,
extended periods of food storage are not recommended. The
refrigerator should only be used for short-term storage.
Storage areas
As cold air circulates inside the refrigerator,
temperature differences exist inside the storage
compartments. Area 6 is the coldest. Different foods should
be placed in different areas according to their properties.
1. Eggs and butter
2. Canned food and seasoning
3. Beverages and bottled food
4. Pickled and canned food
5. Wheaten food, canned food, milk and tofu
6. Cooked meat and sausages
7. Fruit, vegetables and salad
Caution: Ensure that the door o f the chil ler compar tmen t is cl osed
before closing the refrigerator door.
Lamp and lamp replacement
Lamp: 220-240V- , 15W
Lamp holder: E14 (lamps exceeding 15W must not
be used)
When replacing the lamp (upper figure: freezer
lamp; lower figure: refrigerator lamp):
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the food shelf in front of the lamp.
3. Remove the lampshade in the frozen food
storage compartment: put your forefinger into the
hole and press downwards to remove the
lampshade.
Remove the lampshade in the unfrozen food
storage compartment: remove the lampshade in
the direction of the arrowhead.
4. Rotate the lamp anticlockwise to remove and
clockwise to install same.
5. When replacing the lampshade, ensure that all the
lampshade lugs are settled into the lamp holder
slots.
Refrigerating storage compartment
Hot food must be cooled to room temperature before
storing in the refrigerator.
Food should be properly sealed before storage.
This will prevent moisture in the food from
evaporating and prevent vegetables and fruit from
tainting in flavor.
Do not store excess quantities or weights of
food
For better storage results, do not amass food. Neve
r
overload shelves, as they may collapse unde
r
excessive loads.
Dry any water droplets on the food before placing it
in the refrigerator.
Storage of sorted food
Food to be stored should be sorted according to
consumer requirements. Food consumed daily
should be placed in the most convenient area; this
will minimize door opening periods.
Do not place food too close to the internal
walls
Food with high moisture content should not be
placed dose to the walls of the inner liner. Maintain a
minimum distance to

Suggestions
The storage period will be extended if vegetables are
placed with their roots towards the cold source.
Carrot or turnip leaves should be removed before
storage.
Eggs should be stored vertically in the egg holder.
Frozen food can be placed in the cold compartment
before serving, as this will conserve energy.
Onions, garlic, ginger, water chestnuts and other root
vegetables should not be stored in the
refrigerator, as these foods are suitable fo r long-term
storage at normal temperatures.
Ripe squash, melon, pawpaw, bananas and
pineapples should not be stored in the refrigerator.
Freezing will accelerate the ripening process.
Long-term food storage
As the freezer storage temperature is very low, fresh food can be
stored in the freezer compartment for a long time. Food requiring
long-term storage can be stored in the frozen food compartment.
Attention should be paid to the storage information printed on the
food packing.
Suggested storage periods are as follows:
Making ice cubes
* Remove the ice moulds
* Pour water into the ice cube mould (Do not pour
water over the water level mark, or ice cubes will be
difficult to remove.)
* Place the ice cube mould back into the freezer
compartment.
* Turn the knob on the front side of the icemaker
clockwise; the ice cubes will drop onto the ice cube
tray.
* Slightly tilt the front side of the ice cube tray when
removing it from the refrigerator.
Caution: The ice cube box must not be used to make or store ice cubes o
f
other liquids, as this may result in cracking.
Freezing storage precautions
The storage period is subject to the detailed information provided on the food packaging, the spe cific food
properties and special requirements
Freezing storage precautions
Hot food should not be stored in the refrigerator
until it has cooled down to room temperature.
The outside of any food packing should be dried
before storage in the freezer, and any packing
materials should be odor-free, airtight, nonpoisonous and nontoxic.
Only remove the required amount of food from th e
refrigerator. Defrosted food cannot be re-stored in
the freezer unless it is first cooked.
Food cut into small portions wi ll freeze faster and
be easier to defrost and cook. The recommended
weight for each portion is less than 2.5 kg.
Food should be stored in accordance with any
information printed on the packing.
Do not load excessive quantities of food. The
quantity of food in storage must comply with the
cooling capacity of the refrigerator (See section
"Technical Information").
Defrosting
Automatic defrosting
This refrigerator is equipped with an automatic defrosting
system.
Cleaning
The refrigerator should be cleaned regularly to prevent the
formation of bad odors.
* Disconnect the power before cleaning the refrigerator.
* Clean the refrigerator with a soft cloth or sponge using a mild
detergent
Caution: Do not use a hard brush, steel brush, detergent, gasol ine (or other solvents), hot
water, acid or alkali for cleaning.
* Dry water droplets on the refrigerator surface with a cloth.
Caution: Do not use excessive amounts of water for cleaning the refrigerator. Use a
dry cloth to clean t he switch and the la mp.
* Regularly clean the surfaces
of the external shell to
improve the heat elimination
efficiency.
* Always keep the door

Vacation
Power interruption
Even in summer, food can be stored in the refriger ator for a
few hours after a power interr uption.
* Don't load food into the refrigerator during a power
interruption and try to open the door as infrequently as
possible.
* If prior notice of a po wer interruption is given, make some
ice and put it in a container at the top of the refrigeration
compartment.
Caution: Temperature in the refrigerator will rise as a result of a power interruption
or technical problem, and the storage period will be reduced.
Ceased operation
If the refrigerator is to be switched off for an extended period,
unplug the refrigerator and clean same as previously
described.
Keep the door of the refrigerator open when the power is
turned off to prevent any food remaining in the
compartment from producing bad odors.
Caution: It is recommended that the refrigerator not be turned off unless it is
necessary.
Caution: Do not restart the refrigerator until a period of at least five minutes has
elapsed.
Vacation
Before leaving on vacation
* Remove the food from the refrigerator if the vacation is short.
Turn the temperature selection knob to the proper
position, and make sure that the door of the ref rige rat or i s
properly closed.
* If the vacation is long, take the food out of the refrigerator
and disconnect the power. Wait until the fro st i nsi de m elt s,
then clean and dry the compartment. Leave the door
open to prevent the formation of bad odors.
Moving the refrigerator
* Unplug the refrigerator.
* Remove all the food.
* Secure the shelves in the cold storage compart ment, as well
as the vegetable and fruit tray and the drawers in the
freezer, with tape.
* Tightly close and tape the door of the refrigerator.
* Do not tilt the refrigerator by more than 45 degrees.
Caution: Never place the refrigerato r horizontally.
Troubleshooting
The evaporator and piping system of the refrigerato
r
may produce a slight sound when the refrigerator
is in operation due to ambient temperature
chan

es.
The thermostat, starting capacitor and heat
protector may produce a slight sound when the
refrigerator is started or closed.
A
slight sound may be produced by defrosting
water flowing into the evaporating dish and
the compressor at the time of operation
commencement or vacation.
A
slight continuous sound can be heard when the
liquid refrigerant circulates into t he evapor ator.
Troubleshooting
A
slight sound may be heard when the appliance is
first started due to the operation of the compresso
r
and motor. This sound will reduce in time.
The temperature of the refrigerator and compresso r
will rise and the compressor will run for
comparatively longer periods when the refrigerator
is first started.
The fan of an operating ref rigerator may produce
a slight sound.
The compressor will operate for comparatively
longer periods if excessive quantity of food is stored or
the ambient temperature is high.
Water droplets may occur on the oute r surfaces
and the middle connection of the refrige rator due
to heavy moisture in the room air. Wipe clean
with a soft cloth.
The two sides of the external surface and the middle
connection of the refrigerator wil l be warm due to
the appliance’s heat radiation.
Troubleshooting

Excessive vibration may occur in the following
cases:
a) The refrigerator is not well positioned and
adjusted.
b ) The refrigerator is placed on a wood floor or nea
r
wooden furniture.
The liquid refrigerant flowing into the evaporator may
produce a slight sound similar to that of flowing water.
When the refrigerator is stopped, the backflow
refrigerant may also generate this sound.
After-sales service
The refrigerator does not operate.

Precauzioni per la sicurezza
Il frigorifero deve essere collegato a una rete
elettrica da 200V/50 Hz. L'uso di tensioni
inferiori o superiori all'intervallo di 187-242 V
può influire sul funzionamento cor retto del
frigorifero, danneggiare il pannell o di
controllo, il termostato o il compressore. In
questi casi, è sempre necessario installare un
adattatore con una
capacità pari o
superiore ai 750W.
Protezione del cavo esterno
* Per scollegare il frigorifero
dall'alimentazione elettrica, rimuovere la
spina dalla presa facendo attenzione a
non tirare il cavo di alimentazione.
* Verificar e che il cavo elettrico non si a ubicato

Perdite di gas infiammabile vicino al frigorifero

Installare una presa di messa a terra dedicata
Il frigorifero è munito di una presa elettrica
standard a tre poli. Non rimuovere mai il polo di
messa a terra. Verificare che la presa elettrica del
frigorifero sia sempre accessibile.
Cavo di alimentazione danneggiato
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato o
usurato, spegnere il frigorifero e farlo sostituire
da un tecnico di un centro di assistenza

Precauzioni per la sicurezza
Evitare di toccare troppo a lungo gli alimenti
contenuti nel vano congelatore, se il frigorifero è
acceso e le mani sono bagnate. Le mani possono
rimanere incollate sugli alimenti congelati.
Non usare liquidi spray o a spruzzo per pulire il
frigorifero. Non collocare il frigorifero in aree umide.
Le operazioni di smontaggio, riparazione e
manutenzione del frigorifero o del sistema
di refrigerazione devono sempre essere
effettuate da personale debitamente
autorizzato.
Non conservare mai birra o bibite in bottiglia nel
congelatore.
Scollegare sempre il frigorifero dall'alimentazione in
caso di interruzione nell'alimenta zione elettrica o
prima di effettuare operazioni di pulizia. Attendere
almeno 5 minuti

rima di riaccenderlo.
Prima di smaltire il frigorifero, rimuovere sempre la
porta e la guarnizione per evi tare che eventuali
persone possano rimanere intrappo late al suo
interno.

Installazione

Non installare il frigorifero in prossimità di fonti di calore
o alla luce diretta del sole.
Collocare il frigorifero in un'area ben ventilata, facendo
attenzione a lasciare uno spazio di almeno 10 cm intorno
al frigorifero.
Non installare mai il frigorifero vicino a fonti idriche. Pulire
e asciugare eventuali gli eventuali spruzzi d'acqua e le
macchie con un panno morbido.
Non installare mai il frigorifero in aree con una
temperatur a ambientale inferiore a zero. Non usare
mai il frigorifero all'aperto o sotto la pioggia.
