COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
When lit for the first time, the gas grill will emita slight odour. This is a normal temporary condition caused by the "burn-in" of internal
paintsand lubricants used in the manufacturing process and will not occur again. Simply run the main burners on high with the lid
open for approximately ½ hour. When cooking very lean meats, such as chicken breasts, or lean pork, the grids can be oiled before
pre-heating to reduce sticking. Cookingmeat with a high degree of fat content, may create flare-ups. Either trim some fat or reduce
temperatures to prevent this. Should aflare-up occur, movefood away from flames, reduce heat. Leavethe lidopen. See 'YourAll
Season Grill' cookbook by Napoleon for more detailed instructions.
MAIN BURNER USE: When searing foods, preheating is recommended by operating the main burner in the high position with the
lid closed for approximately 10 minutes. Foodcooked for a shortperiod of time (fish, vegetables) may begrilled with the lid open.
Cooking with the lid closed will ensure higher, more even temperatures that willreduce cookingtime andcook meat more evenly.
When cooking very lean meats, such aschicken breasts, or lean pork, the grids canbe oiled beforepre-heating to reduce sticking.
Cooking meat with a high degreeof fat content, may create flare-ups. Either trim some fat orreduce temperaturesto prevent this.
Should a flare-up occur, move food away fromflames, reduce heat. Leave the lid open. See 'YourAll Season Grill' cookbookby

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure that theburners are turned off priorto cleaning. Avoidunprotected contactwith hot surfaces. Clean grill in an area where
cleaning solutions will not harm decks, lawns or patios. Donot use oven cleaner to clean any partof this gas grill. Do not use a
self cleaning ovento clean cooking grids or any other partsof the gasgrill. Barbecue sauce and salt can be corrosive and will
cause rapid deterioration of the gasgrill components unless cleaned regularly.
GRIDSAND WARMING RACK - Thegrids and warming rack arebest cleaned during the pre-heatperiod with a soft brass wire brush. Steel
wool can be used for stubbornstains. Stainless gridswill discolour permanentlyfrom normal usage, due tothe high temperature of the
cookingsurface.
CLEANING INSIDE THEGAS GRILL - Remove the cooking grid. Usea soft brasswire brush to clean loosedebris from the insides ofthe
lid. Scrape sear plate witha putty knife or scraper, anduse a wire brush to remove ash. Remove the sear plateand brush debris off of the
burner with abrass wire brush. Brush alldebris from inside the gasgrill into the removable drip pan. Ensurethat the searplate is placed
properly when reinstalled(holestowards the right end ofthe grill), or whenever thegrill is packedaway for transport.
DRIPPAN-Slide the drippan out for easy cleaning. It should becleaned frequently (every 4-5 uses)to avoid greasebuildup. Greaseand
excess drippings accumulatein the drippan located underthe grill. Accumulatedgreasecan cause a fire hazard. Do notline the drip pan
with aluminum foil,as it can prevent theproper amount ofair needed for burner tooperate. Thepanshould be scraped out witha putty knife
orscraper.
CLEANING THE OUTSIDE OF THE GAS GRILL - Donot use abrasive cleaners toclean stainless steel parts. Toclean stainless surfaces,
use a stainlesssteel cleaner ora non-abrasive cleaner. Always wipein the direction of thegrain. Donot use steelwool, as it will scratchthe
finish and leave small particles of ferrous metal whichcan promote rusting. Stainless steel parts willdiscolour when heated, usually toa
golden or browncolour. This discolouration is normaland will not affect the performance of thegrill.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Turn off the gas atthe source and disconnect unit before servicing. Maintenance shouldonly be done when the grill is cool, to avoid
the possibility of burns. Aleak test must be performed annually, and whenever anycomponent of the gas train is replaced.
COMBUSTIONAIRADJUSTMENT: (This must be done bya qualified gasinstaller.) The air shutteris factory setand should nothave to
beadjusted under normalconditions. However, some extreme fieldconditions may existthat require adjustment. Whenthe air shutteris
adjustedcorrectly, the flameswill be darkblue with lightblue tips, and occasionalyellow tips.
