An obstacle free line of sight is required. The range is 500 - 1000 meters.
Obstacle can cause interference including trees, buildings, dunes, water and steel objects.
Pipe diameter is Ø 42.4 mm (1.74 inch/size 7). Use a 8 mm allen wrench to mount BaseLink on pipe.

CONNECTING

Connect the X2 BaseLink to the X2 Server. Then enable the Onboard Feed to use the Baselink to send messages to the Racers. Use Orbits 5.3 or higher (or other supported 3rd party software).
Connect X2 server to the Timing Software

Go to the Distribution tab (green = on, red = o)
Connect to the X2 BaseLink*

Open the Onboard Feed Setting

Click the Onboard Feed section to open the Settings window
Check the Enable Onboard Feed Checkbox
