M293 BOOSTER MINI
The MXR Booster Mini gives you the sonic secret
sauce of the Echoplex Preamp with the legendary
boosting power of the MXR Micro Amp in a
space-saving mini housing.

DIRECTIONS
• Run a cable from your guitar to
the M293’s INPUT jack and run
another cable from the M293’s
OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
• Set the VOLUME and
TONE knobs to their fully
counterclockwise positions.
• Turn the effect on by
depressing the footswitch.
• Rotate the VOLUME knob
clockwise to increase gain, up
to +25dB.
• Rotate the TONE knob clockwise
to roll off high frequencies.
• To change the output of the
Echoplex Preamp circuit, remove
the M293’s bottomplate. Using
a trimpot adjustment tool, rotate
the internal TRIMPOT clockwise
to increase the circuit’s output or
counterclockwise to decrease it.
