DIRECTIONS

• Run a cable f rom your guita r
to the CSP036’s INPU T jack
and run anoth er cable fro m the
CSP036’s OUTPU T jack to
your amplifier.

• Set all con trols to their
12 o’clock position.

• Turn the effec t on by
depressing the footswitch.

• Rotate DRI VE knob clock wise to
increase a mount of overdr ive or
countercl ockwise to de crease it.

• Rotate LE VEL knob cloc kwise to
increase ove rall effe ct volume or
counterclockwise to decrease it.

• Rotate TONE k nob clockw ise
for a brighte r sound or
counterclockwise for a
darker sound.

• Use HI/ LOW switch to sel ect
your prefer red overdrive st yle:
the Low positi on provides
aggressive, asymmetrical silicon
diode clipp ing, while the Hi
position pr ovides wide op en,
symmetrical LED diode clipping.
The center p osition bypa sses the
clipping dio des for a raw, high
gain boost.

The Il Diavolo O verdrive is
powered by one 9 -volt batter y
(remove bot tom plate to inst all),
a 9-volt AC adapte r such as the
Dunlop ECB0 03, or the DC Br ick™
and Iso-Brick™ power supplies.

The Il Diavolo Overdrive, designed in collaboration
with premier Italian pedal designer Carlo Sorasio,
features a classic circuit that’s been hot-rodded
for enhanced midrange and low end frequencies.
Thanks to the Hi/Low switch, this pedal gives
you access to a wide range of symmetrical and
asymmetrical tones, from a smooth organic boost
to sweet, smoky overdrive to full on grind.
