purchasing decisions. However, there are
instances when purchasing based on
component price can end up costing a
company a lot more money in the long run.

Fasteners for metal-to-metal applications are
a perfect example of how specifying or
purchasing the wrong part can end up

threading frequently occurs which results in
both the screw and the application being

The technology can be used on any externally­threaded fastener and can be customized to
accommodate a specific application.

The MAThread technology can accommodate
dierent point styles to achieve the needs
of specific applications. Point styles include
MATpoint, dog point, very short, P point or
custom. The technology works with all types of
nuts and internal threads, unaected by paint.

MAThread® fasteners are not sensitive
to assembly tool speed; they correct o­angle installations, and improve operator
ergonomics by reducing repetitive stress.
They actively align every fastener and its
mating parts during assembly. Ergonomics
and “ease” of assembly is improved by
reducing the torque feedback to the
installer’s hands during installation.

Typically used for automotive and heavy
equipment, MAThread® fasteners can
