Quick Installation Guide
Overview
The HDMI 4x1 Switcher with Audio Extraction (500430) allows Four (4) HDMI sources to be distributed to one (1) HDMI display. The switcher supports up to 4K (3840 x 2160), 8-bit color and HD audio. The extracted audio is available on an S/PDIF Toslink, Coaxial and 3.5mm Stereo Jack. The splitter is HDCP 1.3 compliant and features LED diagnostics. Additionally, all HDMI connectors are on the rear panel for neater cabling. Applications include; commercial and residential AV systems, classroom projector systems, digital signage, boardroom systems, collaborative PC systems, medical information systems.

Compressed bitstream
When compressed bitstream is selected the analog output (3.5 mm Jack) cannot be used. Set the source to send a LPCM signal.
Multi-Channel not working
Sink equipment not supporting Multi­Channel configuration
Verify that the sink device connected to the HDMI output is supporting Multi­Channel sound configuration.
Troubleshooting
1. Identify the connectors on the HDMI 4X1 Switcher with Audio Extraction as
indicated on the product panels.
In order to install the HDMI 4X1 Switcher with Audio Extraction, please follow the steps below:
2. Connect the HDMI video source(s) to the input connector(s) of the switcher.
3. Connect the HDMI display equipment to output connector of the switcher.
4. Connect the audio receiver to the appropriate output connector of the
switcher.
5. Connect the 5 VDC power supply to the switcher first, and then plug the
power supply into an AC power outlet.
6. Power on the HDMI equipment and verify the image quality.
