The LIVE MINI i s supplied with a
charging base. This base should

We recommen d charging using the

the charg ing base. This redu ces the
chance of dam age due to multiple
connec ting and disconne cting of
the power conn ection direc tly to
the LIVE MINI.

OVERVIEW
This Get ting Started gu ide will help
you set up th e LIVE MINI and brie y
introdu ce its capabilit ies. The LIVE
MINI contai ns 2 premium trans ducers
and a unique b ass radiator desi gn
that allows f or excellent music
reprodu ction wherever y ou go.
The Blueto oth connecti vity and
3.5 mm auxill iary input allow a wi de
variet y of connectio n options.
POWER CONNECTIONS
Before u sing the LIVE MINI for th e
very rst time, we re commend that
you make sure i t is fully charged rst.
Use the suppl ied power adapter only,
and connec t it either dire ctly to the
rear power con nector on the LIVE
MINI, or the ch arging base.
Make sure the c harging base is
placed on a cl ean, dry, and at
horizon tal surface, and t hat the LIVE
MINI is corr ectly tted into the b ase.
When charg ing the LIVE MINI, the
Power LED will show t he charge
status . When the LIVE MINI is fu lly
charged, t he Power LED will show a
steady green.
Do not leave the L IVE MINI
unattended during charging.
Please note t hat the batter y is not
user-repl aceable. it can be rep laced
by an author ised repair cente r.
Battery Notes
The LIVE MINI i nternal batter y type
is Li-ion . To maximise t he battery
life, we reco mmend that you do not
run the bat tery down to a ver y low
charge. Kee p it out of the “batt ery
low” char ge range (red POWER LED)
as much as po ssible. It is bette r to
recharg e the battery f rom a medium
charge (even if you h ave to charge it
more often).
There is no ne ed to fully discha rge
the batt ery at any time.
The playing t ime will vary depe nding
upon the volu me and type of music
program . The louder the music , and
the more ba ss content, then the l ess
batter y time is available.
Operati on of the LIVE MINI at high
temperat ures will also a ect bat tery
life. Do not p lace the LIVE MINI near
to radiators, replaces, heaters, or
other sour ces of heat, such as power
ampli ers. Do no t place the LIVE
MINI in dire ct sunlight duri ng high
daytime t emperatures.
When the LIV E MINI is not going
to be used f or a long time, such as
storage, m ake sure it is charged rst.
Unplug the e xternal power adapt er
from the AC M ains when the LIVE
MINI is not in it s charging base.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
The proce dure for setti ng up a
typic al Bluetooth conne ction is
as follows:
First, r ead the document ation
that came w ith your device, and
become f amiliar with the Blu etooth
operation procedures and details.
Make sure tha t your device has
Bluetooth enabled.
Turn on the Power to the L IVE MINI.
The BT LED will ash, showi ng it is
tryin g to pair with your dev ice.
If the TANNOY LIVE MINI d oes not
appear in yo ur device list, pre ss the
BT butto n on the LIVE MINI for
3 seconds .
When the TANNOY LIVE M INI appears
in your devi ce list, select i t and it
will be pair ed. The BT LED will tur n
on steady.
In operat ion, the + and - button s can
be used to in crease and decre ase the
volume, and the p revious and nex t
button s can be used to move up and
down your playlist.
While conne cted via Blueto oth,
incoming c alls can be answere d
by pressin g the Multi Functio n
Button (MFB), and usi ng the internal
microph one on the LIVE MINI to tal k.

of “TANNOY LIVE MINI ” in your
device, and t hen try pairing a gain
from new.
AUX CONNECTION
The 3.5 mm TRS i nput connecti on
on the rear of t he LIVE MINI allows
connec tion to the line-l evel audio
output o f various devices in cluding
computer s and MP3 players, for
example.
When a conne ction is made to
the Aux inpu t, the LIVE MINI will
automatic ally switch to play
the incoming audio, rather than
Bluetooth devices.
In operat ion, the + and - button s can
be used to in crease and decre ase the
volume, and th e MFB button can be
used to Mut e the sound.
