Introduction
All connections should be made before the mains adaptor is plugged in.
can be easily connected either to an available line level out
put or into the tape monitor loop of most amplifier systems.
If your system has an unused line level output (for instance an unused tape
record output) simply connect a set of RCA/phono leads from this output to
the Line In sockets on the X-CAN
If there is no spare set of outputs the X-CAN

Installation Precautions
Your new X-CANV2is designed and built to provide trouble-free performance, as with all electronic devices it is however necessary to observe a few precautions. Please ensure that you have complied with these before you connect the power to your X-CANV2. Retain this guide for future reference.
n Do not use the X-CANV2near water. The unit shall not be exposed to
dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the unit.
n Keep the X-CANV2away from heat sources such as radiators. No naked
flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the unit.
n Only use the mains adaptor provided. The use of other adaptors
could seriously damage your X-CANV2.
n Place all connecting cables where they are not likely to be
walked on or trapped by items placed on them.
n X-CANV2will operate in accordance with its specifications as long as
the environmental conditions are kept in the following ranges:-
Temperature 5 to 45 degrees Celsius Humidity 10 to 90% non condensing
This Hi-Fi product has been tested to ensure that its operation will not be adversely affected by normal background levels of R.F.I. (Radio Frequency Interference). It is possible that if the unit is subjected to abnormally high levels of R.F.I. the unit may not perform as expected. In the unlikely event of this happening please contact Musical Fidelity's service department.
Do not remove any covers, the X-CANV2will not be covered under warranty if it has been tampered with. There are no adjustments within. Please refer all service work to an authorised Musical Fidelity agent.
