1.GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1 IN TRODUCTION

PLEASE NOTE. Do not dispose of any packaging until the installation of the air conditioner is completed. After having removed the packing, check that all the content is intact and complete. (See list of accessories). In the event of missing parts, contact your retailer. This air conditioner has been designed to cool

or heat the air of a room and should only be used for this purpose. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage caused to property or injury to persons or animals due to incorrect installation, regulation and maintenance or improper use. This air conditioner contains R410A refrigerant: at the end of its life, the disposal of this air conditioner must be in accordance with the strict regulation governing the recycling of this product, please operate with caution during the disposal. Please contact your local authority for regulatory advice. Do not switch on before having totally assembled the air conditioner and before installing in its correct operating position. Before starting the appliance, check that it is correctly earthed, according to the legislation in force in the country concerned.

1.2 IM PORTANT SAFETY INST RUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed: Do not place objects on the product or allow objects to obstruct the inlet or outlet openings. Extreme care should be taken when any product is used by, or near children and pets, and whenever the product is left operating and unattended. Please note: Before operating the product remove the air conditioner from its packaging and check it is in good condition. Do not let children play with the packaging, for example plastic bags. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the air conditioner malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return the air conditioner to an authorised service center for examination and repair to avoid a hazard.

Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this air conditioner as this may void warranty, contact your service engineer. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product identification plate. This air conditioner is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Do not place the air conditioner near an open flame, cooking or heating appliance, or hot surface. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Arrange the power cord away from an area where it may be tripped over. Never place the power cord under a carpet or rug. Do not operate the air conditioner in areas where petrol, paint, or other flammable liquids are used or stored. Do not carry out any cleaning or maintenance or access internal parts until the air conditioner has been disconnected from the mains electricity supply. Do not alter the safety or regulating devices without the permission and instructions of the air conditioner manufacturer. Do not pull, remove or twist the electric cable connected to the air conditioner, even if disconnected from the mains electricity supply. Avoid prolonged direct contact with the flow of the air from the air conditioner and the room being closed with no ventilation for a long period of time. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a service engineer or by qualified technicians in compliance with the instructions given in this booklet. Do not alter the appliance, since hazardous situations could be created while the manufacturer of the appliance will not be liable for any damage or injury caused. This instruction booklet is an integral part of the appliance and should therefore be carefully preserved and always accompany the appliance in the event of transfer to another owner or user or another installation engineer. Should the booklet be damaged or lost, please request an additional.

1.GENERAL INFORMATION

1.3 RE CEIVING THE GOODS

The air conditioner is delivered in a protective

packaging and is accompanied by an instruc-

tion manual. This manual is an integral part of

the air conditioner and should therefore be

carefully read and preserved. When the air

conditioner is unpacked, please check that the

air conditioner and the accessory pack are

complete and undamaged.

1.4 HA NDLING

Be fully aware of the weight of the air condi-

tioner before attempting to lift it. Take all nec-

essary precautions to avoid damaging the

product or causing personal injury

It is advisable to remove the packaging only

when the air conditioner has been located in

the point of installation

Carefully remove the adhesive strips posi-

tioned on the air conditioner

Packaging components must be disposed cor-

rectly and not left within reach of children,

since they are a potential source of danger

2.INSTALLATION

2.1 PO SITIONING THE AIR

COND ITIONER (P3)

To maintain the best performance from your

air conditioner, prevent breakdowns or haz-

ards, you must position it correctly. Please fol-

low the guidelines and instruction below in

full, as failure to do so could cause potential installation problems.

-The air conditioner must be installed on an exterior wall that has access to the out side with a minimum of 2 meters clearance to the outside.

-The air conditioner must be fitted leaving room all around as illustrated in the paper template

-The wall on which the air conditioner is installed must be sturdy and able to withstand the weight of the air conditioner.

After determining the best place for installation as described above, please check to ensure that the wall can be drilled in the chosen area without interfering with other structures or installations (beams, piers, pipes, wires, etc.). Please also ensure that there are no obstacles on the outside of the wall, which may obstruct air circulation through the drilled holes, for example: plants and their leaves, slats or panelling, drain pipes, overflows and gratings, etc.). Any obstruction could interfere with the correct performances of the air conditioner.

2.2 PAPER TEMPLATE (P4 )

Fasten the template to the wall once the following guidelines have been thoroughly checked.

- Do not drill any holes until you are completely confident that there are no obstacles in the area you wish to drill and there are no obstructions, which could be hidden by the construction of the wall, for example: Electrical wiring water & gas pipes or supporting lintels or beams.

- Ensure that a spirit level is used, as the air conditioner must be level.

- Follow the installation instructions in full.

2.3 DR ILLING THE WALL (P5 )

Please note: If you are drilling the hole above ground floor level, please ensure that an area has been secured and while the holes are drilled the outside area is supervised, until drilling has been completed.

INTAKE AND OUTLET HOLES

- This operation should be carried out using the proper tools (diamond tip or core borers drills with high twisting torque and adjustable rotation speed).

- Fasten the template to the wall taking care to check the distance from the floor and or ceiling and keep it horizontal by using a spirit level.

- Use a pilot drill to mark the centre of each core hole to be drilled. Use a core boring head having a diameter of 162 mm to drill the two holes for intake and outlet the air.

It is recommended that the holes must have a slightly downward inclination of 3-5 degrees to prevent any backflow of water from the pipes.

DRAI NAGE HOLE( P 13) This air conditioner has a double system to

drain the condensate moisture automatically. Before install the Air Conditioner choose which is the suitable system for your installation. Please read carefully the follow instructions.

System “A”: drill a hole through the wall measuring 30mm in diameter in the position shown in the paper template. Drainage occurs by gravity. For this reason, it is essential for

the drain line to have a minimum downward inclination at least 3 degrees throughout its length: connect the drain pipe (from rub-

ber terminal) to the air conditioner (back side) after unplugged the black rubber cup (see picture P13). With this solution you can drain the condensate moisture to a suitable place to do not cause any problems to your neighbours

System “B”: in case of impossibility to install the drainage pipe as showed on “A” system,

do not unplugged the black rubber cup (picture P13). The condensate moisture will go outside by the two big pipes (see picture P14). If you choose this solution be sure that the condensate moisture do not cause any problems to your neighbours.

2.4 FASTENING THE BR ACKET (P6)

- Drill the holes for anchoring the fastening

bracket to the wall using preferably the 6 holes showed in black on the paper template. If the wall is not sturdy enough it is advisable to use extra anchor bolts using the holes showed in grey on the paper template.

- The anchor bolts provided require a 8mm holes; the wall should be inspected to determine if provided bolts are useful or if it is necessary to use a different anchorage. The manufacturer is not liable in case of underestimation of the structural consistency of the anchorage made at the time of installation.

2.5 IN STALLATION OF THE PIP ES

- After drilling the holes, the plastic pipes supplied with the air conditioner need to be fitted through them.

- The pipe with a diameter of 160mm (fresh air intake) has to be fitted in the right hole. The length of the pipes should be same the

depth of the wall plus 10 mm. Use a normal hacksaw to cut the supplied pipes to the cor-

rect length. Remember that the modification

must to have the same inclination of the holes (minimum 3 degrees).

- The tube diameter is nearly the same as

that carried out using the 162 mm nominal diameter core drill therefore you may need to slightly force the introduction of the pipe using, in difficult cases, a normal rubber hammer and a small piece of timber to gently tap the tube into the hole.

- Please use the same instructions to fit the left hand tube (AIR discharge pipe) using the supplied pipe with a diameter of 150mm. The tube diameter is slightly smaller than that car-

ried out using the 162 mm nominal diameter core drill.

- Please centre the pipes into the holes in the wall and insulate and seal t heir perimeters

to prevent air and humidity infiltration using

polyurethane foam and using plaster as finish- ing on the inside wall.

2.6 FI TTING THE GRATINGS (P7, P 8,P9,P10)

To fit the external two gratings please proceed as follows: familiarise yourself with the fitting of the grating to the tube, before installation. Insert the cords through the centre of the grating. One grating fits on the outside of the tube and the other fits inside. The air intake is the bigger hole and the grating therefore fits on the outside of the air intake tube. Insert the supplied cord into the hole. Fold the outer grating in half grasping the cord with your free hand. Insert your arm inside the pipe with the grating and push all the way to the outside. Let the grating unfold and pull the cord toward you. One grating fits on the outside of the tube and the other fits inside. With a little patience and manipulation the 2 gratings will fit the end of the tubes. Grasping the cord, insert your fingers between the fins and pull the grating toward you until the same is properly slipped in the pipe, keeping the fins in vertical position. If the external grating is accessible to prevent its removal, it is recommended to fasten it to the wall with wall plugs and screws with a diameter of 6 mm. Tighten the cord and fasten it to the dent on the internal flanges.

2.7 FI TTING THE AIR CONDI T IONER ON BRACKET (P11,P1 2)

After checking again that the fastening bracket is securely fastened to the wall, and that any necessary preparations for electric connection and condensate drainage (if it needs) have been made, fasten the air conditioner to its supporting bracket. Lift it up by holding the sides at the bottom. Tilt the air conditioner slightly toward you to facilitate the operation of fastening it to the bracket. The air conditioner can now be pushed firmly against the wall. Inspect carefully the installation to make sure that the insulating back panel must fit firmly against the wall and there are no fissures at the back of the air conditioner and that the two plastic semicircle on the back side of the air conditioner are placed inside of the two plastic hoses fixed inside the wall.

3.12 Install and change the battery

Open the cover of battery, hold the hook and

lightly pull up.

Insert the battery (AAA,2pcs),the positive must

be same with the mark on the plastic surface.

Reinstall the cover of battery.

Inspection: if press ON/OFF button “ ”, no

icons are displayed, please install the battery again.

3.11 Fresh air system

When the fresh air system is open the air conditioner will change the room air automatically : in this way new clean and fresh air will intake to the room. You can open or close the fresh air system any moment. If the air fresh system is close the air conditioner performances are more high so we suggest to mantain the fresh air system closed and open it just a few minutes per day.

3.13 M AINTENANCE

(P15 , P16,P17,P18)

FILTERS CLEANING:

The filters should be regularly cleaned to keep

the air conditioner running efficiently. Clean

the filters every two weeks.

How to proceed:

-Disconnect the air conditioner from the elec-

trical supply.

-Extract the filter grating.(P15) on the same

direction of the arrow. Rotate the knob as

showen on P17 to liberate the two filters. Proceen to wash them (not use hot water) and only when they are dried replace them in the same way.

ATTENTION: Do not use the air conditioner without filters as it could seriously damage the air conditioner.

EXTERNAL CLEANING:

-Disconnect the air conditioner from the electrical supply.

-Wipe external surfaces clean with a damp cloth only.

-Do not use an abrasive cloth and/ or solvents, as this may damage the surfaces.

-Do not use excessively wet cloths or sponges, as water stagnation could damage the air conditioner and compromise safety.

3.14 P ROBLEM SOLVING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES

-The air conditioner does not work.

-The air conditioner does not refrigerate the room

-Strange smell in the room. Water drips from the air conditioner.

-The remote control does not work.

-The air conditioner does not work for 3 minutes when switched on.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

1. Wrong setting of the timer / Check it.

2. Problems on the power supply/Call the service center.

3.The filter could be dirty / Clean it.

1. INFORMAZIONI GENERALI

1.1 IN TRODUZIONE

ATTENZIONE. Conservare l'imballo fino a che

l'installazione non verra' completata. Una

volta aperto l'imballo, controllate che tutte le

parti, componenti ed accessori siano intatti e

non danneggiati (vedere lista accessori): in caso di problemi contattate il vostro rivenditore. Questo condizionatore e' stato progettato e costruito per rinfrescare e riscaldare il locale abitativo in cui verra' installato e deve essere usato solo per questo scopo. Il costruttore non e' responsabile per danni generati e/o provocati da un non corretto uso o da una incorretta installazione del prodotto. Questo condizionatore contiene refrigerante R410-A: al termine del suo utilizzo, quando cioe' si vorra' sostituire l'apparecchio con uno nuovo, contattare gli Enti del vostro paese preposti allo smaltimento e riciclaggio di questo tipo di prodotti: non gettare il condizionatore dismesso in discariche abusive ma contattate sempre gli Enti preposti o il vostro rivenditore. Non accendete il condizionatore se l'installazione non e' stata completata in modo corretto e definitivo. Prima di accendere il condizionatore assicuratevi che l'impianto di messa a terra della vostra abitazione funzioni e vi garantisca il corretto grado di sicurezza elettrica.

1.2 IM PORTANTI REGOLE D I SICU REZZA

- Non cercate in nessun modo di riparare il condizionatore: questa operazione fara' decadere immediatamente i termini di garanzia: contattate sempre il vostro rivenditore o il centro assistenza autorizzato.

- Collegate la spina elettrica del condizionatore in una presa dove sia stato verificato che il voltaggio, la frequenza elettrica ed il carico elettrico siano quelli indicati nella etichetta dati tecnici applicata sul condizionatore.

- Il condizionatore non e' utilizzabile in luoghi bagnati o molto umidi.

- Non installate il condizionatore in prossimita' di fiamme libere, cucine, apparecchi riscaldanti o superfici calde.

- Attenzione che il cavo alimentazione non venga a contatto con superfici taglienti e comunque assicuratevi che niente possa rovinare o danneggiare il cavo elettrico; evitate di attorcigliare il cavo elettrico, anche quando il condizionatore e' spento.

- Non installate e non utilizzate il condizionatore in luoghi dove siano presenti sostanze infiammabili e/o corrosive.

- Prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di normale o straordinaria manutenzione assicuratevi di aver disconnesso la spina dalla presa elettrica.

- Evitate una lunga esposizione del vostro corpo al getto di aria fredda proveniente dal condizionatore: assicuratevi di ricambiare l'aria del locale in cui avete installato il condizionatore per garantire un rinnovo di aria fresca e ossigenata.

- Ogni riparazione del condizionatore deve essere effettuata solo da personale tecnico qualificato.

- Non cercate di riparare o modificare il condizionatore: il costruttore non e' responsabile dei danni causati dal condizionatore modificato o riparato da personale non qualificato o da un uso improrpio dello stesso.

- Questo manuale di uso e installazione e' parte integrante del condizionatore: deve essere riposto in un luogo sicuro e facilmente consultabile qualora sia necessario.

1. INFORMAZIONI GENERALI

1.3 CO NSEGNA DELL'AP PARECCHIO

Il condizionatore e' imballato in una scatola di

cartone con protezioni interne per garantirne

l'integrita' durante il trasporto. All'interno

troverete questo manuale che e' parte

integrante del condizionatore e deve essere

letto attentamente e conservato in luogo

sicuro ed accessibile. Quando sballate il

condizionatore assicuratevi che siano

presenti tutti gli accessori.

1.4 MOVIMENTA ZIONE

Siate consapevoli del peso del condizionatore

prima di cercare di sollevarlo o spostarlo.

Prendete tutte le precauzioni necessarie per

non arrecarvi danni fisici e per non rovinare il

climatizzatore. Vi consigliamo di togliere il

condizionatore dall'imballo solo dopo aver

posizionato la scatola in prossimita' del punto

dove verra' effettuata l'installazione.

Rimuovete accuratamente le bande adesive di

protezione. Lo scatolone e tutte le altre parti

2. INSTALLAZIONE

2.1 PO SIZIONAMENTO DEL

COND IZIONATORE (Figura P3)

Al fine di ottenere le maggiori prestazioni dal

vostro condizionatore e per evitare guasti o

rotture e' necessario installare il

condizionatore in modo appropriato. Vi

preghiamo di leggere attentamente e di

seguire le istruzioni di installazione qui di seguito descritte.

-Il condizionatore deve essere installato su un muro perimetrale esterno del locale: assicurarsi prima di effettuare i due fori che all'esterno non ci siano ostacoli nel raggio di due metri: questo per garantire il corretto flusso di aria in entrata ed in uscita dalle griglie esterne.

-Mantenete gli spazi intorno al climatizzatore come riportato sul foglio dima di montaggio.

-Il muro su cui verra' instrallato il condizionatore dovra' avere le caratteristiche strutturali per sostenere il peso dell'aparecchio.

Dopo aver scelto la posizione ottimale dove installare il condizionatore come descritto nei punti precedenti, assicuratevi che la zona dove occorrera' realizzare i fori nel muro non sia interessata da cavi elettrici, tubi dell'acqua o di scarico, strutture portanti e cosi' via.

2.2 DI MA DI INSTALLAZION E (Figura P4)

Fissate il foglio della dima al muro nella posizione che avete scelto per l'installazione, certi di aver verificato i punti precedentemente descritti. Accertatevi che il foglio della dima sia fissato a livello utilizzando una livella ad acqua. Altri importanti note e punti da osservare:

- Assicuratevi ancora una volta che nella posizione dove realizzerete i fori non ci sia passaggio di cavi, tubi o strutture portanti

- Assicuratevi che esternamente non vi siano ostacoli nel raggio di due metri: questi ostacoli riducono le prestazione del condizionatore e lo possono danneggiare.

- Suguite le operazioni di installazione come descritto in questo manuale

2.3 RE ALIZZAZIONE DEI FO RI NEL MURO (Figura P5)

ATTENZIONE: Assicuratevi che esternamente, al piano terra, in corrispondenza di dove verranno realizzati i fori, l'area sia controllata e libera dal possibile passaggio di persone, animali o cose che potrebbero essere feriti o danneggiati dai calcinacci prodotti durante la realizzazione dei fori. Assicuratevi che l'area sia controllata fino a che la realizzazione dei fori sia terminata ed i tubi vengano posizionati.

FORI DI INGRESSO ED USCITA ARIA

- La realizzazione di questi fori deve essere eseguita con adeguati strumenti, apparecchi e utensili come per esempio frese a tazze da muro diamantate, trapani percussori con regolatore di coppia per evitare lesioni all'operatore, occhiali protettivi, guanti protettivi e cosi' via.

- Fissate il foglio della dima di installazione utilizzando una livella ad acqua per assicurarsi che il posizionamento sia orizzontale.

- Realizzate dei fori o dei segni di riferimento al centro dei fori che dovete realizzare: la fresa a tazza per realizzare questi due fori, dovra' avere un diamentro di 162mm

E' fondamentale che i fori abbiano una inclinazione verso il basso (dall'interno verso l'esterno), di almeno 3 gradi di pendenza : questo per garantire un corretto smaltimento a caduta della condensa verso l'esterno.

TUBO D RENAGGIO C ONDENSA (Fig u r a P13)

Questo condizionatore e' provvisto di un doppio sistema per espellere automaticamente l'acqua di condensa. Prima di installare il condizionatore e' importante che scegliate una di queste due diverse possibilita' che questo prodotto vi offre. Leggete attentamente le note informative seguenti prima di decidere in che modo sara' piu' conveniente per voi realizzare lo smaltimento dell'acqua di condensa. Sistema “A”: realizzate il foro da 30mm di diametro come indicato sul foglio della dima di

installazione nella corrispondente posizione. L'acqua verra' smaltita per gravita' e quindi assicuratevi che il foro abbia una pendenza verso il basso e verso l'esterno di almeno 3 gradi. Fra gli accessori troverete il tubo di

drenaggio: nella parte posteriore del condizionatore, centralmente in basso, e' fissato un tappo di gomma: togliete il tappo di gomma e fissate il tubo di scarico in dotazione dalla parte del terminale di gomma, come indicato nella figura P13. Questa prima soluzione vi permette di raccogliere esternamente l'acqua condensata e confluirla e scaricarla in modo appropriato.

Sistema “B”: nel caso non sia possibile installare il tubo di drenaggio come indicato nel caso precedente, o qualora non ci siano impedimenti a scaricare direttamente l'acqua condensata, potrete procedere come descritto di seguito: non rimuovete il tappo di gomma dal condizionatore (figura P13) e non realizzate il foro da 30mm di diametro: l'acqua di condensa verra' scaricata direttamente dai due tubi (diametro 160mm e 150mm) ingresso ed uscita aria (figura P14). Eviterete di realizzare il foro da 30mm per il tubo di drenaggio. Se opterete per questa seconda soluzione, assicuratevi che l'acqua condensata e fuoriuscente dai due grossi tubi non costituisca problemi o danneggi chi abita sotto di voi: se cosi' fosse dovrete optare per la prima soluzione e convogliare l'acqua condensata in uno scarico adeguato.

2.4 FI SSAGGIO STAFFA SUPPORTO (P6)

Sul foglio dima sono anche disegnati i fori per il fissaggio della staffa metallica per agganciare il condizionatore al muro.

- Realizzate i sei fori indicati in colore nero sulla dima: se il muro risultasse debole utilizzate anche gli altri fori per avere piu' punti di fissaggio della staffa metallica

- Le viti di fissaggio ed i relativi tasselli a muro necessitano di fori dal diametro di 8mm. Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilita' relativa al fissaggio della staffa metallica di supporto del condizionatore

2.5 IN STALLAZIONE DEI TU B I

- Dopo aver realizzato i due fori da 162mm di diametro, occorre inserire i relativi tubi forniti in dotazione

- Il tubo con diametro 160mm va inserito nel foro di destra: da questo tubo entrera' l'aria fresca necessaria al corretto finzionamento del condizionatore.

- La lunghezza del tubo dovra' essere uguale allo spessore del muro piu’ 10 mm: tagliate il tubo da 160mm della stessa lunghezza con un normale seghetto a mano avendo cura di realizzare il taglio del tubo alla corretta lunghezza necessaria e con la corretta inclinazione come il foro che avete realizzato nel muro.

- Il diametro del tubo e' simile al diametro del foro realizzato nel muro e potrebbero esserci delle interferenze nell'infilare il tubo all'interno del buco: usare un martello di gomma e picchiettare il tubo fino al raggiungimento della posizione corretta: il tubo deve sporgere internamente di 10mm.

- Seguite le istruzioni descritte qui sopra anche per l'altro tubo dal diametro di 150mm che andra' posizionato nel foro di sinistra.

- Una volta posizionati i due tubi, riempite gli spazi fra tubo e muro con del materiale termoisolante (schiuma poliuretanica) e rifinite, nella parte interna, l'accoppiamento fra tubi e muro con dello stucco da muro.

2.6 FI SSAGGIO DELL E GRATE ESTE R NE (Figure P7, P8, P9, P10 )

Per posizionare e fissare le due griglie esterne procedere come descritto qui di seguito: queste griglie sono realizzate in materiale plastico deformabile e quindi possono essere piegate per essere infilate nei tubi che avete posizionato e fissato nel muro: vi consigliamo di provare piu' volte a piegare e rilasciare le griglie in modo da familiarizzare con esse e cosi' poter eseguire questa operazione facilmente e senza problemi: vi renderete subito conto che questa operazione e’ molto semplice.

- La prima operazione e' quella di inserire la corda in dotazione all'interno del foro centrale delle griglie e bloccarla realizzando un nodo che non passi nel foro delle griglie stesse.

2. INSTALLAZIONE

- Dato che i diametri dei due tubi sono

differenti, una griglia verra' fissata con il

labbro di tenuta all'esterno del tubo da 150mm

di diametro e l'altra griglia con il labbro di

tenuta all'interno del tubo da 160mm di

diametro.

- Dopo aver inserito la corda, con una mano

piegate su se stessa la griglia ed infilatela nel

tubo tenendo la corda con l'altra mano: questo

e' per evitare che la griglia vi possa sfuggire e cadere all'esterno

- Quando la griglia uscira' dal lato opposto del tubo, rilasciatela e tirando leggermente la corda la corda ed aiutandovi con l'altra mano, posizionate la griglia nella corretta posizione. Questa operazione potrebbere richiedere un po' di tempo ma e' importante che vi assicuriate che le griglie siano posizionate nel modo corretto (vedere le figure da P7 a P10).

- Vi consigliamo, prima di infilare le griglie nei rispettivi fori, di porre della colla siliconica (Silicone) nei punti e sulle superfici di contatto fra griglie e tubi in modo da garantire un corretto fissaggio. Fissate le griglie in modo che le alette risultino in posizione vericale.

- Fissate l'altro capo della corda come indicato in figura o in altro modo agevole e sicuro.

- Se e' possibile posizionare e fissare le griglie dall'esterno, le operazioni sopra descritte non saranno necessarie e potrete procedere come segue, in modo piu' semplice: dall'esterno posizionate le griglie fissandole con colla siliconica (Silicone) e anche viti e tasselli in modo da essere sicuri del loro fissaggio e tenuta. Mantenete le alette in posizione verticale e ovviamente non utilizzate la corda per il fissaggio.

2.7 FI SSAGGIO DEL COND IZIONATORE (Figure P11, P12 e P14)

- Dopo esservi assicurati ancora una volta che la staffa a muro e' fissata in modo corretto e sicuro, che i tubi sono fissati nella corretta posizione, che l'eventuale scarico della condensa e' pronto (se e' necessario, vedi punto 2.3 capoverso Tubo Drenaggio Condensa), che gli allacciamenti elettrici sono disponibili e adatti all'utilizzo del condizionatore, agganciate il condizionatore alla staffa fissata al muro centrando i fori di

fissaggio rettangolari come indicato in Figura P14.

- Sollevate il condizionatore come indicato in figura P11 e mai sollevare il condizionatore afferrando il pannello frontale ma solo attraverso la struttura metallica che e' la parte piu' resistente della struttura.

- Una volta agganciato il condizionatore alla staffa a muro, assicuratevi che la parte posteriore del condizionatore sia perfettamente adiacente al muro senza fessure o inclinazioni.

- Assicuratevi che i canotti circolari di plastica uscenti dalla parte posteriore del condizionatore, siano perfettamente inseriti nei tubi che avete precedentemente inserito nel muro (Figura P14).

Questo apparecchio non puo' essere installato nelle lavanderie.

3.11 RINNOVO ARIA

Quando il sistema di rinnovo e ricambio aria e' aperto, il condizionatore cambiera' automaticamente l'aria della stanza: in questo modo nuova e fresca aria sara' immessa nel locale. Potete aprire o chiudere il sistema di rinnovo aria in ogni momento. Quando il sistema di rinnovo e' chiuso, le

prestazioni del condizionatore sono migliori e vi consigliamo di mantenere il sistema di rinnovo nella posizione chiusa e di aprirlo solo pochi minuti al giorno per rinnovare l'aria della vostra stanza.

- Inserire due batterie tipo AAA: controllate bene ed accertatevi che le polarita' (segno + e - ) vengano rispettati quando inserite le nuove batterie.

- Premete il tasto ON/OFF per accertarvi del corretto funzionamento del telecomando con le nuove batterie

3.13 M ANUTENZIONE (Fig ur e P 15, P16, P 17, P18)

PULIZIA FILTRO:

Il filtro va pulito regolarmento per mantenere le prestazioni del condizionatore e prevenire guasti anche gravi. Vi consigliamo di pulire il filtro aria almeno una volta ogni due settimane. Un filtro pulito e' piu' efficace e

migliorera' la qualita' dell'aria della vostra stanza. Per la pulizia del filtro procedete in questo modo:

- Spegnete il condizionatore e togliete la spina dalla presa elettrica

- Sollevate la griglia superiore come indicato in Figura P15. All'interno della griglia sono posizionati due filtri aria. Per sganciarli dalla griglia ruotate la manopola come raffigurato in Figura P17. Lavate ora i filtri con acqua corrente non calda: potete usare un sapone non aggressivo ed uno spazzolino morbido per rimuovere la polvere piu' ostinata.

- Reinstallate i filtri solo quando sono perfettamente asciutti.

ATTENZIONE: Non utilizzate il condizionatore senza i filtri dell'aria perche' si potrebbe danneggiare in modo grave.

PULIZIA ESTERNA:

- Prima di pulire il climatizzatore accertarsi sempre di aver scollegato la spina elettrica

- Pulire le superfici esterne del climatizzatore solo con uno straccio morbido leggermente umido

- Non utilizzare prodotti abrasivi e/o corrosivi per pulire il condizionatore

- Non utilizzare uno panno ruvido e/o troppo imbevuto di acqua: se dell'acqua entra nel condizionatore puo' causare gravi danni allo stesso e anche procurare incendi o altri gravi problemi.

3.14 S OLUZIONE PROBLEMI

- Il condizionatore non raffresca il locale in cui e' stato installato

- Il condizionatore emette cattivo odore

- Dal condizionatore fuoriesce dell'acqua

POSSIBILI INTERVENTI E RIMEDI

- Errato settaggio del timer: controllare

- Problemi di alimentazione elettrica: Verificare la presenza della tensione di rete.

- Il filtro e' sporco: pulire il filtro.

- la temperatura della stanza e' troppo alta: attendere che il condizionatore riporti la temperatura della stanza a valori accettabili.

- La temperatura impostata sul telecomando e' troppo elevata.

- Le griglie di entrata e/o uscita aria del condizionatore sono ostruite: rimuovere le ostruzioni quali fogli di carta, tende, vestiti tappeti ed altro inavvertitamente posati sul condizionatore e che chiudono o parzializzano le griglie.

- Errata installazione del condizionatore.

- Errata connessione del tubo di drenaggio condensa.

- Errata inclinazione dei due tubi inseriti nel muro.

- Sigillatura non sufficente fra il condizionatore ed i due tubi fissati nel muro.

- Batterie del telecomando scariche: sostituire le batterie del telecomando.

- Protezione compressore: il condizionatore e' provvisto di una protezione che non fa partire il compressore se non sono trascorsi 3 minuti: attendere che questo tempo sia trascorso.
