Munchkin Drawer Cabinet Latch Owner's Manual

Protect® Drawer & Cabinet Latch Installation Instructions:
Note: Determine where to install your Drawer & Cabinet Latch per the options illustrated on reverse side. IMPORTANT: The latch should have an access gap (opening) of about 1.5” (Fig.1) when the latch is engaged and drawer or door is pulled open. This gap allows you to operate the latch effectively while keeping little ones safe.
Options 1 & 2:
1. Position catch 1” from inside edge of cabinet frame and mark catch position (Fig. 2). Drill holes and secure with enclosed screws. For drawer install, center the catch within drawer.
2. Prior to drilling, position latch so that it engages catch (see note on reverse). Ensure the position allows the latch to pass through the catch when drawer or door is closed. Mark, drill holes and secure with enclosed screws.

Option 3:
1. Position catch on the underside of cabinet frame about 1” from the center of the cabinet (Fig. 3).
2. Position latch vertically so that the top prong engages directly with the center of the catch (Fig. 4). Prong will snap in place when engaged.
To Clean: Wipe with a clean damp cloth. CAUTION: This product is only a deterrant. Total access is not prevented and should
not be a substitute for adult supervision. Discontinue use when child becomes old enough to defeat it. Discard all packaging components before use.
