3. ADJUSTMENTS
3.1 Pager receiver programming
Receiver ON/OFF ON
Manuel alarm reset The receiver shows an alarm by a flashing LED, a sound and a vibration.
Automatic alarm reset Connect the receiver to the adaptor.
Repeat of the latest alarms The latest ten alarms are stored in the memory in the receiver.
Vibrator and beeper ON/OFF Connect the receiver to the adaptor.
Coding of extra receiver There are no limit in numbers of receivers that can receive info from one
: Press On/set. Two beeps and a vibration are indicated (if enabled). The LED’s shows a running light from left starting with blue, yellow, green and red
Every 10 seconds a short flash in the green LED shows that the receiver is ON
OFF: Press On/set and keep pressed until the LED’s shows a running light starting with red to blue.
One beep and a vibration are indicated (if enabled).
Press and hold OK
Press OK
Two short beeps are heard and vibrator vibrates twice = Automatic reset ON. Info in display: MSG TO ON

3.2 Pager receiver recharging
The battery capacity in the receiver is 2.4V 400mAH NiMH The receiver can with the battery fully charged operate app. 24 hours. It is highly recommended to recharge the receiver every time it is not in use, minimum once a day for at least 10 hours. Normally every night
When the adaptor plug is connected to the receiver the following happens: If the receiver is ON:
Receiver is set OFF All LED’s are flashing three times The red LED is flashing every 10 seconds

If the receiver is OFF:

3.3 Repeater unit
Here is an example where the pager receiver can’t receive the signal from the transmitter due to the concrete wall that is between the receiver and the transmitter. The solution is to use a Repeater unit.
It could also be that the transmitter unit is mounted on a wall, which has a high content of metal. Or the distance between the units could be too big.
Placing a Repeater unit in between the units will extend the communication distance. Maximum numbers of repeaters to one system are three.

3.4 Repeater setup

When the repeater is added to the Pager system do the following:
1. Set the repeater in program mode by placing the jumper in No.1
2. Switch the power on
3. Make sure that the distance between the repeater and pager transmitter is more than 3 meters.
4. Press the one of the bottoms on the Pager transmitter or activate an alarm in the EAS system. If the programming is OK the TX led will flash at the same time as on the Pager transmitter
5. Switch the power off
6. VERY IMPORTANT: Set the transmitter in normal mode

7. Switch the power on and test the system
8. Maximum 3 repeaters can be in a system. They must be numbered 1-2-or 3 by setting the jumpers as described above
