Revised Front Panel for T1 DSU/CSU, Model MTT1DSU

A recent design change removed the T1 XMT/RCV Monitor jacks from the right end of the
front panel of the MTT1DSU. Therefore, the front panel of your T1 DSU/CSU may appear
as shown below:

If the front panel of your T1 DSU/CSU matches the above illustration, ignore the reference
to Monitor jacks XMT and RCV at the bottom of page 10 of the User Guide (Part No.

82083200) and use this illustration instead of Figure 1-1 on Page 10.

Page 8 should contain the following note:

Note: If the MultiDSU front panel happens to come off, immediately replace it for

safety reasons. First, disconnect the T1 line from the back panel LINE jack, then
insert the top tabs of the front panel into the top guides in the chassis and press
the front panel into the chassis until it snaps into place.

Page 16 should contain the following additional Safety Warning:

7. For safety reasons, only a qualified service person should remove the front
panel of the MultiDSU.
