Note: The current version of the MT5634MSV has messages recorded in UK English;
upcoming versions in US English (and several other languages) are being developed and
will be available on the MTS web site in the near future. Check for the free upgrade at
ftp://ftp.multitech.com/ModemFirmware/US/ .
Caution: PhoneTools is currently unable to disable the MessageSaver's Independent mode. Independent mode remains enabled even when the State box in the Independent Mode Configuration Dialog
box indicates that Independent mode is disabled.
To disable Independent mode, you must call the MessageSaver from a remote telephone, enter your
access code, and press 3. If you answer your phone before the ninth ring, or if your callers then hang
up before the ninth ring, Independent mode will not be re-enabled. However, if a caller should let the
phone ring nine times, MessageSaver will answer, play the greeting message, and re-enable Independent mode.
