Subject: Mushroom Bushing Pin Position

SYMPTOMS

Ice during agitation pushes the pin out of the mushroom bushing.

ACTION

Current production units from the factory leave with the pin installed from the right. If you have disassembled the bin
components for cleaning or maintenance on any of the models listed above it is important to reinstall the mushroom
bushing pin properly. Improper installation of this pin can result in it becoming dislodged, causing ice dispense issues
or even sever damage to the drive train, crusher, or other moving parts. The following is how to properly install the
mushroom bushing pin;

1. Make sure all bin components are in proper position, including the agitator and paddle wheel.

2. Face the front of the unit.

3. Place pin in right hand

4. Reach into the bin and install the mushroom bushing from the right side of the bushing as illustrated above.
